Updated on April 6, 2026: Added the new Magician’s Red and Golden Experience Requiem.
Bridger Western lets you combine some powerful stand options with guns for some ranged JoJo meets Red Dead Redemption action. Most of the stands are quite good in PVP and it’s mostly about skill, aim and positioning. But some stands have a higher power potential so here’s my Bridger Western stand tier list.

Bridger Western Best Stand Ranked
It’s hard to outline the best stand in Bridger Western since most stands have high damage barrages and powerful stun moves. This is why almost all stands are really good and even those without barrages can be strong with the right gun combination. That’s why this tier list assumes all stands can be good depending on skill and playstyle but tries to rank their individual power potential and flexibility. Here’s a quick tier breakdown before we dive into individual stand ranking explanations:
- S-Tier Time Stops vs A-Tier Combo/Skill-based Stands: While Time Stop Stands are the most powerful in general, the A-Tier Combo stands can outplay them if you’re skilled enough at the specific combos or maneuvers of those stands.
- B-Tier Stands: These are powerful stands that require more skill and setup than their S/A-Tier counterparts.
- C-Tier Stands: These are situationally powerful stands that have more weaknesses than the higher tiers.
- D-Tier: These are the weakest stands.
Stand Obtainment: You can find a guide on how to get the base stands, reroll stands and more below the Tier List tables. For special stand obtainment methods, I’ll include a how-to in their sections below.
S-Tier Stands
| S-Tier Stands | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
Star Platinum – The World |
• I prefer SPTW timestop to TW since it has a shorter windup • The biggest problem with TW timestop is the long windup which gives your opponent more room to counter • That said note that SPTW timestop has a lower duration and radius • Either way time stops are incredibly strong in this game so both SPTW and TW are S-Tier • As for why the other moves are good check out the base Star Platinum below • SPTW is all the good stuff from base SP plus time stop and one other move Obtainment: Have the base Star Platinum |
The World (Base & AU) |
• TW and TWAU are almost the same in power, peak overall stands, even though they have different moves • TWAU has dual time stop options for flexibility and an auto-track move • In contrast, TW’s teleport move, long-range auto punch for R and slightly longer TS makes it better in some cases • While both are really strong note that The World’s AU timestop has a long windup which is its main weakness • I prefer the base The World personally but TWAU can also be OP if you know how to use it Obtainment: Unlike SP and SPTW these are two separate stands |
King Crimson |
• Amazing counter to time stop stands due to Time Erasure • In fact it’s one of the best defensive moves in the game combined with excellent mobility • Plus you have great burst damage after Time Erasure to go with the dodges • Very balanced moveset of offense and defense |
A-Tier Stands
| A-Tier Stands | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
Golden Experience Requiem |
• Just a more powerful version of GE • Better damage, better utility, better heals • You have an AOE stun move that sets up a one-shot combo • Really great mix of burst damage and utility Obtainment: 50k EXP (I recommend fishing), 25 killstreak, Stand Arrow, Golden Experience |
D4C |
• In a game with a lot of burst damage and stun combos Dimension Hop’s damage negation is incredible defense • Since a lot of stands have one shot potentials with the right setup D4C makes these a lot harder with D. Hops and clones • That said it has a weakness of not having a lot of killing power itself so it’s very skill-based Obtainment: 100 Kills, 10 KS, be in the “Desert” area |
Mandom |
• Best passive PVP stand in the game for no stamina cost • Time Rewind can help you dodge Time Stop if used at the right time • You can reverse your HP from low to high after going aggressive and getting bursted • Or your opponent’s from high to low if they heal • Requires practice to learn timings and tricks but is amazing with a good gun |
Purple Haze |
• Destroys people without stands with the poison cloud • Incredibly annoying to deal with even with stands due to great DoT damage and Slows • Overall if you can kite them while keeping Slows and DoTs it’s some of the highest damage potential in the game • Make sure to make good use of Stand Pilot since your own poison can hurt you |
Magician’s Red |
• Really strong burn damage if you have good movement to kite • The G is tricky to dodge with the redirecting bullet hell • The channel burn is brutal in 1v1s • Overall some of the highest damage if you’re good at hitting the moves |
B-Tier Stands
| B-Tier Stands | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
Gold Experience |
• Amazing for group fights due to good damage and heals • A bit weaker in solo fights since you’ll get punished for healing if your opponent is aggressive • Still impressive utility though • Gold Experience Requiem is straight up better |
Tusk |
• Very high-skill dependent Stand due to lower movement speed and stamina drain • But a ton of damage potential and range with Tusk 2 (Sometimes 1) with horse attack and spamming nails • With smart uses of Glide and Jump you can dodge important moves • Then just kite your opponent and snipe from ranged Obtainment: Small chance from a Left Arm Corpse Part |
Hierophant Green |
• Noob killer and overall very overpowered against unexperienced players • The moves are easy to hit if you sneak to an opponent since the 20 Meter wires deal a ton of damage • That said, that’s the only competitive move and if a player knows how to play around it, HG is not the best stand |
Hey Ya |
• Theoretically great since you pay no stamina to use it • You get random buffs to Dodges, Damage, Healing, Speed, Accuracy, etc. • You cannot control them but you can play around them • Low skill floor but also low power potential • Great if you want an easy-to-use strong Stand • Not the strongest but can be overall better than most Stands since there’s no skill involved |
Tubular Bells |
• Can deal a lot of damage with auto-aim • That said you can get rushed before setting everything up and you have no defenses • That’s why it’s powerful but extremely skill-based and depends on kiting and setting up all the balloons safely |
C-Tier Stands
| C-Tier Stands | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
Star Platinum |
• On the edge of C+/B- because of G’s defense against Time Stop and the ability to evolve into SPTW during it • Other than G a decent overall stand with high damage moves • That said it’s not the strongest and you mainly want it for the SPTW evolution chance |
Killer Queen |
• Killer Queen can deal impressive damage with its moves • However the biggest problem is that it requires you to close the distance • If you get zoned it’s weak, if you can keep creating low distance between you and your opponent you can output a ton of pressure • Still not as high of a killing potential as other stands |
Crazy Diamond |
• Has impressive burst damage at close range • That said suffers from getting zoned so you need to get close • The heals are not as strong as Gold Experience • This sucks because the heals are taking up space for moves that could add flexibility to CD • Overall while it has one-shot potential the low range weakness is rough to deal with |
Silver Chariot |
• High-skill requirement here to learn the combos for one-shot potential • That said they are hard to land and missing one gives your opponent a chance to retaliate • If they back away and zone you, Silver Chariot becomes weaker due being less flexible with moves • That said if you can master the combos this is a strong stand |
D-Tier Stands
| D-Tier Stands | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
Hermit Purple |
• Can be good for a grapple combo since it’s decent range • That said the low damage potential and low killing power compared to other Stands make it a bit weak |
20th Cenutry Boy |
• Very weak power potential • The moves are very easy to deal with |
How to Get and Reroll Stands in Bridger Western
You get Stands in Bridger Western by obtaining them via either of the two methods below and then using the Stand Tool from your inventory to summon a Stand:
- Method #1 – Corpse Parts: You can pick up and hold a Corpse Part for a short while to get a Stand. Corpse Parts have a chance to appear around the map and you can spot them via the loud sound with a yellow beam of light pointing to them when they appear. They only spawn with at least 3 players in a server, increasing the spawn chance the more players there are up to 25 players with a 1/40 spawn chance. You need to hold onto the Corpse Part for a while to absorb it so be careful of other players attacking you while holding it.
- Method #2 – Stand Arrow Shards: These also give you a Stand and you can get them as a 0.5% chance drop from Fishing. You can buy a fishing rod and bait for 150 moola at the Tackle Bait/Fishing Goods NPC. Note that Arrow Shards are lost upon death/leaving so be sure to use them. You cannot have two stands.
- Quest Stands: Some stands like the D4C have a quest requirement which you can find above in the D4C section. You cannot get these via traditional means.
- How to Reroll Stands: You have to reset your stand via the Mud Witch’s Hut and then find a new Corpse Part or Arrow Shard. Mud Witch’s Hut is in the Swamp area and you have to bring her a Dogbane Herb to wipe your Stand which is a 4% chance item drop that can be obtained from chests that drop from encounters.
Bridger Western FAQ
This chest-drop item can be brought to the Mud Witch’s Hut in the Swamp area and exchanged for 2500 Moola, a stand wipe or a 20-year decrease for age.
Get a Dogbane Herb from chests and bring it to the Mud Witch’s Hut in the Swamp area to ask for a Path wipe/Stand wipe.
You age by dying or clogging and at 75+ you are unable to run and at 85+ you have a chance to instantly wipe by having a heart attack. You can revert aging by using a Dogbane Herb at the Mud Witch’s Hut.
At Tier 3 you can get 1 primary and 1 secondary gun.
You have to M1 before u get shot.

Things will be heating up in the summer in Frostpunk 2 with Breach of Trust DLC coming on PC and consoles. So far, the frost has been mankind’s greatest enemy as we have all rushed to keep our homes warm.
The Breach of Trust DLC will completely change the battle, as you now have to outlast an impending volcano.
Table of contents
Frostpunk 2 Breach of Trust DLC features
The heart of your settlement is your Generator, which keeps everything warm. However, overuse of the resource has now created ruptures in the ground that have resulted in the volcano emerging as the biggest threat. With people in panic, you’ll have to take charge as the First Citizen to steady the ship.
While managing the lava is one part of the job, you’ll also need to keep your citizens’ needs in mind. Public approval is key if you don’t want to meet the fate of your predecessor. A Vote of Trust system will be operational throughout the scenario, which will decide just how well you’re doing the job.
Just like the frost, the volcano has its own set of environmental hazards. You’ll need to survive nights when lava will pour out along with tremors in the ground. How you interact and behave in the scenarios will have a key impact on deciding the outcome. However, you’ll not be alone since you can take the diplomatic route with other colonies to aid your cause (or destroy them if you want).
Additionally, the DLC will also offer two scenario-based maps, new buildings/infrastructure, and new laws that you’ll need to keep in mind when making decisions. There will also be new factions that will either be with or against you.
Frostpunk 2 Breach of Trust DLC release date
Breach of Trust releases globally on June 23 across all platforms. It’s currently available in closed playtest, and willing players can sign-up via Steam (available only for PC). It will be interesting to find out how the DLC will be priced and if it will be able to outdo Fractured Utopias, which is currently having a discount on Steam.
