How to unlock the Ferris Wheel in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream

Ferris wheel in tomodachi life living the dream

As you build up your island in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream, you’ll regularly unlock new shops, buildings, and other facilities that can improve village life. One of the coolest ones you can get is the MiiWheel Ferris Wheel.

Most buildings are easy to unlock by simply expanding upon the number of residents living on your island, but there are a few, like this one, that require some extra work. Here’s how to unlock the Ferris Wheel in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream.

How to get MiiWheel Ferris Wheel in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream

The MiiWheel Ferris Wheel is added to your island sometimes after you have at least two romantic relationships that have developed in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream. Both of these bonds need to be official, which means they’re actually couples, for the MiiWheel requirement to be met.

The first step in this process is working on having Miis romance each other. Once you’ve got a crush going, work on developing it into a full-on relationship, then repeat this process once more with a different set of Miis. After two couples have been made, you’ll eventually get a pop-up allowing you to add the MiiWheel to your island.

Although having two couples is the requirement for unlocking the Ferris Wheel, it’s tough to know exactly when the pop-up will arrive for you. New additions to the island can be a bit unpredictable, and don’t always seem to pop up when they’re supposed to, so if you don’t get it right away, just keep playing and focusing on progressing until it finally appears. The MiiWheel is one of many shops and facilities you can add to your island, so be sure to keep building it up so you can eventually unlock even more.

How to play Poke the Ferris Wheel minigame in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream

After unlocking the MiiWheel, any Mii on your island may prompt you to play a game of Poke the Ferris Wheel with them. This minigame can be a bit tricky to figure out, especially the first time around. Your goal in this game is simply to end the three rounds with the gondola that has your Mii in it at the bottom, in the loading zone.

The catch here is that you must use all three pokes, even if you get it in the right spot on the first try. To get going, hold down the A button to charge up your poke. The longer you hold this button, the harder your poke will be. Then, repeat this step again to see where it lands. It all really comes down to the final poke, as this is the one you need to use to get the gondola car to the bottom of the wheel. Judge where the car is and where the bottom is, making your final poke accordingly based on how far you need to go.

There’s plenty more to uncover in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream. Next, you may want to learn how to get Miis to romance each other, what all of the personality traits are, how to get Warm Fuzzies, and how to get all personalities.

Players exploring the world of Windrose

Tumbaga Ingot is one of those rare materials that you’ll need to find in Windrose, which is required to ascend different equipment. It’s one of the several types of Ingots you can obtain in the game. However, you can’t smelt it, which makes the process more difficult.

Let’s find out how you can get this unique ingot on your pirate adventure.

How to find Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose

So, you can’t smelt and make Tumbaga Ingots. In fact, you can only find it in specific locations. To find Tumbaga Ingots, you’ll have to head inside Ancient Ruins. Ruins are marked on the map, but their locations will be different due to the nature of the game’s map.

When you reach an Ancient Ruins, you’ll find a cellar entrance. Just look around the ruins, and you’ll find the cellar. Take the entrance to reach underground, and look around. Look for chests that are located in the ruins. Be careful, as you’ll find enemies (I found them during my rounds, but this can once again be different in your case).

Open the chests, and you’ll find Tumbaga Ingots. On my save, they’re not guaranteed, but the spawn rate appears to be quite common. However, they only appear to spawn inside the specific chests found in Ancient Ruins. This could change in the future since Windrose is in early access, and there will be updates.

How to use Tumbaga Ingots in Windrose

When you find a Tumbaga Ingot and read its description, it says that it’s required for ascending weapons. Since I am in the mid-game stage, I haven’t actively reached the stage where the weapons can be ascended. It’s tied behind a quest.

While it will take some time before you can ascend weapons, you can upgrade them quite early in the game. If you choose to upgrade them, you can improve their stats and how they function. Ascension, on the other hand, adds new skills for the weapons.
