All around the Fortnite island, you’ll encounter NPCs who need your help. One of these characters is Carina, and she’s got quite a mystery for you to solve. To do so, you’ll need to work through her quests.
Some of her tasks are rather tricky, and since they all fall under progressing one larger mission, it can be a bit tough to figure out how to work through them all. Finishing this quest series is crucial for keeping up with the main storyline, though, so here’s how to uncover the mystery with Carina by completing her quests in Fortnite.

Uncover the mystery with Carina by completing her quests in Fortnite
To uncover the mystery with Carina, you need to complete seven of her missions to unlock the final stage in this quest series, which is another task you must tackle to officially finish the full series. There are eight Carina quests to choose from, so you can skip one and still get it done.
How to complete all Carina quests in Fortnite
| Quest | How to complete |
|---|---|
| Damage opponents while airborne. | Deal 250 damage against enemies while airborne. You can deal this damage against hostile NPCs or enemy players. The easiest way to check off this task is by jumping frequently while you attack. If you manage to secure a boss Medallion, it’s even easier to tackle with one, as you can activate it to gain low gravity, allowing you to stay in the air longer and thus dish out more damage while airborne. |
| Emote near or as Human Bill. | Find Human Bill around the island. Then, either emote while standing near him or defeat him in battle to claim his Medallion so you can emote as him. It’s generally easiest to complete this task by emoting near him, as it’s quicker and safer, but either method works. You only need to perform one emote to finish this quest. |
| Survive storm phases without taking storm damage. | Outlast 10 storm phases without taking any storm damage. This one is pretty easy to work on without much effort as long as you keep an eye on your map and swiftly move into the eye each time the storm shrinks. |
| Eliminate a henchman. | Defeat one henchman. Track down a boss, like Human Bill or Beach Brutus, to find one. Henchmen can only be found near bosses. Once you’ve located a boss, look for the two NPCs hanging out near them, which are both henchmen. Strike at one of them with everything you’ve got to finish this quest. Attacking the henchman will make the boss and other henchmen angry with you, so be prepared for a big battle. |
| Hit opponents with the Holo Rush SMG. | Deal 50 damage against enemies using a Holo Rush SMG. Find a Holo Rush SMG by looting around the island. Once you have one, find an enemy player or hostile NPC like a boss or henchman to fight. Shoot at them using this weapon until you have done 50 damage. |
| Destroy objects at Tiptop Terrace or Battlewood Boulevard. | Travel to Tiptop Terrace or Battlewood Boulevard to destroy 25 objects. Visit Tiptop Terrace, which can be found near the northwest end of the island, or Battlewood Boulevard, which is near the south edge of the island. Once you’re at either spot, start breaking anything you see. You can use your Pickaxe or a weapon of your choosing. |
| Reboot or hit players with a Reboot Van. | Reboot one player with a Reboot Van or hit one player using a Reboot Van. Track down a Reboot Van around the map, then use it to reboot an ally who falls in battle, or hop inside and drive it around until you find a player you can hit with it. |
| Damage opponents with Epic or better weapons. | Deal 500 damage against enemies using Epic or better weapons. You can deal damage against hostile NPCs, like bosses, or enemy players you encounter. The weapon you use to deal damage must be Epic or better, which means Purple for Epic, Orange for Legendary, or Gold for Mythic. Keep firing at foes using a weapon of one of these rarities until you’ve accumulated 500 damage against them. It will likely take a few fights against different enemies to finish this quest. |
Once you’ve checked off seven out of the eight quests from this series, Carina’s final mission for you will unlock. The last task asks you to confront Vengeance Jones or Heroic Hope about the Dark Voyager. You just need to have a chat with either character to get this one done, so the only tough part about it is tracking them down.
Vegeance Jones can be found at Lethal Labs, while Heroic Hope is hanging out over at Classified Canyon. Once you’ve found either character, interact with them and select the quest dialogue option to proceed. As soon as you’re done chatting, all missions will be complete, which means you’re officially done uncovering the mystery with Carina by completing her quests.

Upcoming sci-fi title Menace could be a fun game to try out, especially if you love turn-based tactical battles.
Developed by Overhype Studios, Menace is made by the same folks who gave us Battle Brothers. This guide will help you keep track of the upcoming launch if you’re interested in trying the game out.

Menace release countdown
Menace will go live worldwide on Thursday, Feb. 5. It will be exclusively available on PC due to its (likely) early access state. The following countdown will expire once it goes live.
[hurrytimer id=”1174307″]
The countdown above is based on the following timings.
- 6am PT
- 8am ET
- 9am CT
- 2pm UTC
- 3pm CET
The timings mentioned here are based on the information available on SteamDB. Any change will be duly updated in this guide. As of writing, there’s no way to pre-order Menace, but you can wishlist it on Steam.
What to expect from Menace
Menace puts you in charge of a band of marines, mercenaries and criminals in a distant system cut off from the core Worlds. Your ‘army’ will have to faceoff against warlords, corrupted organizations, and governments to gain the upper hand.
The core gameplay will center around a turn-based tactical approach, which is pretty similar to Battle Brothers. However, the theme and change of environment will need you to adjust your tactics accordingly. While you won’t be fighting directly on the field, every decision depends on you. From choosing requests to sending dispatches to control what your army does on the field – everything depends on you.
It will be interesting to find out if Menace could turn out to be one of the best tactical turn-based titles in 2026. It has been sometime since we have had a big hit in this genre.
