How to sell items in Starsand Island

To make progress in Starsand Island, you’ll need to buy many different items. Everything is quite costly, which means you’ll have to find ways to earn gold. You’re never actually told how to sell items, though, so it can be tough to figure out on your own.

You’ll be gathering items worth selling consistently, like crops and fish, so ensuring you also have the means to exchange them for funds is crucial, especially when you’re just starting out and need lots of money to buy essential items. If you’re looking to get rid of some goods you have on hand, here’s how to sell items in Starsand Island.

How to sell in Starsand Island

There are two ways to sell items in Starsand Island, which are to visit a shop and select the “Sell” option, or use the Quick Shipping Box to get rid of items on your home lot. You won’t have access to the latter right away, and only some locations you can visit allow you to sell goods, so it can take a bit to figure out how this process works.

Early on, your only way to sell items is to visit a store. Generally, it’s easiest to head over to Zerine’s General Store to sell anything and everything you wish to get rid of for gold. This shop is just on the other side of the bridge, in front of your house, right at the edge of town, so it’s close and easy to find.

If you’re out and about, there are other shops you can sell at, too, including locations like the Happiness Seed Shop, the Green Pasture Ranch, and Woof & Wow Pets. Generally, anywhere you find a cash register to shop from, there’s also the option to sell anything you want to get off your hands.

At all shops that have the selling option, you simply need to interact with the cash register or the NPC who runs the store, select the Shop page, and locate the “Sell” option near the top middle area on your screen. This will open your bag, displaying how much each item is worth and allowing you to select any items you want to get rid of. While on the go, you cannot access and sell items that are stored in chests on your home lot, but you can still sell furniture from your storage.

How to sell items from your home lot in Starsand Island

You can eventually craft and use a Quick Shipping Box to send off any items you want to sell directly from your home lot. The blueprint for this item can be purchased from Zerine’s General Store for 3,500 gold once you’ve honed your crafting Profession a bit, but even then, you’ll still need to gather quite a lot of resources to make it.

To craft a Quick Shipping Box for your home lot, you need:

  • Six Iron Sheets, which can be made by converting Iron Ingots (Furnace II) into Iron Sheets using a Cutter II.
  • Three Radiant Crystals, which can be made with three Fluorite (Mined) and one Charcoal (Charcoal Kiln) in the Furnace I.
  • Six Hardwood Planks, which can be made with four Hardwood (Foraged) in the Cutter II.
  • Three Gears, which can be made with one Tin Ingot (Furnace I) in the Gear Smith.

Once you have everything you need, the Quick Shipping Box can be crafted at a Workbench. You can then place and interact with it on your home lot at any point to ship off items you wish to exchange for gold.

Diablo Warlock

Ready to toe the line between good and evil? Warlocks are invading Diablo for its 30th anniversary, beginning today, and leading to BlizzCon later this year.

As part of today’s 30th anniversary spotlight, Blizzard revealed that Diablo 2: Reign of the Warlock is a new expansion for Diablo 2: Resurrected, and it’s available right now. But it doesn’t end there, because the Warlock class is also coming to Diablo Immortal later this year. And of course, it will be the second new class in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred in April, joining the already-available Paladin.

The update for the Diablo 2 remaster is packed with quality of life updates, as is Immortal’s (coming in June), but Diablo 4’s big upcoming expansion is where the bulk of the eyes are. And Blizzard says the new DLC has been built on what it’s learned over the past few years since D4 launched, including the new class.

Diablo 4’s Warlock is “fully unleashed,” with powers of metal chains and flames, and Blizzard called it “a heavy metal album come to life” during the stream. The dev team will deep dive on the new class on March 5, detailing its abilities, powers, and gear.

Lord of Hatred’s new zone, Skovos (the birthplace of humanity), was revealed during the stream, and it’s heavily inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, featuring “more monster variety than ever,” and a big change from the last DLC’s swampy region.

Blizzard also said Lord of Hatred’s system updates will change the game, including a “completely overhauled, massively expanded” skill tree, offering more customization from the beginning. They said that “meaningful choices,” including customization options are coming, and they’re coming to all classes regardless of whether players own the DLC or not.

Other changes coming to Lord of Hatred are loot filters, a new Talisman system, and more to be revealed. Needless to say, it sounds like the Diablo team is cooking up some fun stuff for the franchise’s big birthday this year.

You can check out the full showcase on YouTube above, including all of the details about Reign of the Warlock, Diablo 2: Resurrected’s new DLC.
