All Forest Minion effects in Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow Easter event

A Jackalope running through DOTS in the 2025 Easter event in Phasmophobia.

Interacting with Forest Minions is one of the most essential gameplay components in Phasmophobia’s Cursed Hollow event. Disturbing these creatures comes with some consequences, though, in the form of unique gameplay effects.

It’s important to know what messing with Forest Minions does, so you can be prepared before you reveal them. They have some surprisingly potent abilities capable of altering the course of the entire round. If you’re wondering what they can do, here are all of the Cursed Hollow Forest Minion effects in Phasmophobia.

Forest Minion Totem gameplay effects in Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow event

All Forest Minions grant you some kind of blessing or curse when you reveal them in Phasmophobia. This primarily includes a direct increase or decrease to your sanity, but there’s a bit more to it depending on the exact behaviors the Forest Minion exhibits.

You can essentially think of them as Tarot Cards since they work similarly. Each Forest Minion’s effects are completely random, so you could get several blessings or several curses in a row. Here are all of the behaviors you may see a Forest Minion exhibit and what each one does.

Forest Minion jumping and screeching effect in Phasmophobia

If a Forest Minion jumps directly at you and lets out a loud screeching sound, it’s unlucky, and curses you, causing the ghost’s speed to increase by 10 percent. This effect can stack, so you need to be very careful if you run into multiple Forest Spirits performing this behavior in a row, as it can lead to an incredibly fast and dangerous foe.

The Forest Spirit curse changed in the 2026 version of the event. In 2025, the curse instead drained 10 percent of your sanity. Now, though, it only affects the ghost’s speed, making it a bit easier to deal with.

Forest Minion running off effect in Phasmophobia

A Forest Minion that runs off to the side is a lucky one that grants you a blessing by decreasing the ghost’s speed by 10 percent. This effect is also stackable, which means the ghost may end up really slow if you manage to spot a lot of lucky rabbits.

This effect was also changed for the 2026 run of the event. Previously, it would instead restore five percent sanity. Now, though, it only has the potential of altering the ghost’s speed to help you have an easier time getting away.

Golden Forest Minion effect in Phasmophobia

A ghost hunt is immediately triggered if you come across a golden Forest Minion that sort of sparkles and explodes. This Forest Minion effect is quite rare, but it really comes down to luck, which means there’s always a chance you could get unlucky and see this one a lot more often than most other players.

Ghost events and interactions Forest Minion effect in Phasmophobia

In addition to the previously mentioned effects, most or all Forest Minion encounters also seem to cause a ghost event or interaction to occur right after. It’s a bit tough to tell for sure if it happens every time, since this effect could be occurring somewhere on the map, far away from your location. But based on my testing, it seems like all Forest Minion encounters are typically followed by some kind of ghost activity right after.

I’ve noticed two specific incidents where the Forest Minion jumped off to the side, and a ghost event/interaction occurred immediately after. During the first encounter, the Forest Minion jumped off to the side, and a light sitting on the end table right where it jumped turned on as it passed through. The second encounter was a full-on ghost event where the Forest Spirit ghost materialized in front of me.

Since some Forest Minion effects are more common than others, it’s possible there are additional ones we haven’t discovered yet. If we come across any additional effects for them as the event progresses, they’ll be added here.

Revealing as many Forest Minions as possible is important for contributing event points in the Cursed Hollow event. You can’t avoid them if you want to earn the limited rewards, but you can approach them with caution and watch out for these effects to ensure you don’t end up the victim of an untimely ghost hunt.

Scrappy with a hat in ARC Raiders

Our beloved Scrappy is no longer the rooster that it was in ARC Raiders, and you can now feed it different items. The new feeding boost system is an extension of the default upgrade system since you can get bonuses.

This guide will state all the bonus rewards that you can get from feeding Scrappy with various food items.

All ARC Raiders Scrappy feeding boosts explained

There are two types of bonuses you can activate by feeding Scrappy. The table below has all the important information that you’ll need when trying to activate the boosts.

Both the Feeding Rewards and Resource Bonus will be activated for one round once Scrappy has been fed. The bonuses and rewards will be determined by what you’re feeding Scrappy, and you can queue up to six different food items.

Once the round is finished, you’ll get your applicable rewards. The collection box has a limit, so check it after every round or two to see if Scrappy has managed to get anything valuable.

How to feed Scrappy in ARC Raiders

Once you have a food item, you can feed it to Scrappy. If you have extra, you can add it to the queue. That way, you won’t need to add the food item after every round manually. Once the round is over, you’ll get the bonus materials in the Collection Box.

Ideally, you should always feed food items that match your requirements (in terms of the offered bonuses).
