How to complete Life’s a Meatball in Disney Dreamlight Valley (Second Pluto unlock quest)
Open your mailbox
To get this quest started, head to your mailbox to open the “Our Spaghetti Suspicions Thicken!” letter from Merlin. If you don’t see this in your inbox, make sure you’ve unlocked Lady and Tramp, worked through all their Realm quests, and completed The Spaghetti Incident quest. All of these prerequisites must be met for Merlin’s letter to arrive.
If it’s still missing after you’ve finished these tasks, try entering and exiting a building or reloading your game to see if it pops up then. Mailbox deliveries are notoriously finicky and unpredictable, so it might take some time for your letter to show up as intended.
Visit Lady and Tramp’s house
In his letter, Merlin mentioned hearing some strange noises over at Lady and Tramp’s home, so visit their house to see what’s going on. As soon as you enter their home after reading the letter, the Life’s a Meatball mission officially begins.
Talk to Lady
Inside the house, you’ll find a messy giant meatball on the ground near the front door, similar to those you previously encountered during the Lady and the Tramp Realm quest called Meatballs. Approach Lady next to it and chat with her to see what’s going on.
Dig out and gather the Magical Meatballs
Lady and Tramp managed to eat some of the meatballs that popped up around their house, but not quite all of them. Equip your Royal Shovel and dig up three Magical Meatballs around their home to assist with cleaning up the rest.
This quest is a bit misleading, as it implies that there are multiple meatballs to find around their home, but there’s actually only one. The singular giant Magical Meatball drops three smaller ones for you to pick up so you can progress this mission. Once you have all three, chat with Lady to pass them to her.
Check inside Ursula’s house
Lady can smell more meatballs around the valley, so you now need to hunt them all down. First up, she instructs you to visit and check Ursula’s house, so head to the location where you have it placed in the village.
Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Ursula’s house
Equip your Royal Shovel and get to work clearing away the three massive meatballs in Ursula’s house. Just like in Lady and Tramp’s house, each one drops a few smaller meatballs for you to collect, so be sure to pick up a total of nine Magical Meatballs as you work through it.
Once you’ve collected all of the Magical Meatballs, walk over to Lady, who is hanging out close to Ursula, and chat with her. The mess in Ursula’s house is now cleaned up, but Lady already smells another one elsewhere, so it’s off to the next clean-up mission you go.
Investigate Goofy’s house for Magical Meatballs
The next home Lady smells meatballs at is Goofy’s, so venture to his house next. Inside, you’ll find that even more meatball madness has taken over, so more cleaning is needed.
Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Goofy’s house
Equip your Royal Shovel again and clear away the massive meatballs around Goofy’s house until you obtain nine more Magical Meatballs. Then, chat with Lady, who is standing with Goofy in the kitchen, to progress.
Investigate Mickey’s house for Magical Meatballs
Goofy’s house is clear, but he lets you know that Mickey’s experiencing the same issue, too. Exit his home and set out for Mickey’s house next to find some more meatballs that need to be removed.
Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Mickey’s house
Repeat the same process you did over at Lady and Tramp’s home, Ursula’s house, and Goofy’s residence at Mickey’s home. You’ll find another nine Magical Meatballs by digging away the larger ones with your Royal Shovel. Then, chat with Lady to pass them over to her and initiate a conversation that involves both her and Mickey.
Inspect the Memory in Mickey’s house
Once Mickey is done talking in the group conversation, a Memory will drop nearby. Approach and interact with the Memory to reveal the second piece of a three-part image. Talk to Lady after viewing the Memory to officially complete the Life’s a Meatball mission.
Completing this quest gets you one step closer to unlocking Pluto. The new piece of the Memory you found is part of a hint that leads to him, so keep working through all required tasks to recruit him, and be sure to unlock all Mementos to prepare for his arrival.

Destiny 2’s next large-scale update, Shadow and Order, has been delayed out of its launch in just a couple of weeks. But players already pretty much knew that.
Shadow and Order was scheduled to launch on March 3, two days before Bungie’s new game Marathon, and the writing has been on the wall for a while: radio silence about the update for a long time, until today.
Bungie posted today that Shadow and Order is now launching on June 9, which is just over three months from its initial launch point, and “undergoing large revisions” in the process. Needless to say, even though they knew it was coming, Destiny 2 players are none too pleased on the subject.
“We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more,” Bungie said.
Shadow and Order is now being “changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed” in light of the change, which feels directly Marathon-related, whether intended or not.
“Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April),” Bungie said, confirming that the roadmap of content will be a bit more scant than originally scheduled. “In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels.”
Bungie and Sony both need Marathon to be a success, and the chances of Destiny 2 players trying it out, buying it, and spending money on it is likely a lot higher if they don’t have Shadow and Order to distract them from the new extraction shooter.
Before its delay, Shadow and Order was set to include a new rewards pass, exotic weapon and ornament, new legendary weapons and armor ornaments, new cosmetics, “and more.”
