Marathon’s release date might have leaked (Confirmed)

We’ve known for a while that Marathon was planned for March, given the post below, shared publicly in December. But now we may have an exact launch day, so whether you’re excited, hopeful, or even fearful for Bungie’s latest title, you won’t have too much longer to wait.

Earlier today, a trailer on the Xbox Store revealed the potential release date: 5 Mar. 2026. Redditor TheJuiceBaba was the first to uncover this info from the trailer, according to IGN, who also shared the news on X.

Update: Bungie has since confirmed that the release date for Marathon is indeed Mar 5, 2026.

And while Marathon hasn’t had the smoothest development roadmap, it looks like at least a few people are quite excited to see what Bungie’s been up to since the last public playtest. It’s also quite close to the next Destiny 2 expansion, Shadow & Order, which is slated for a release sometime early 2026.

It’s difficult to figure out whether this is the actual release date, since it could have been an earlier iteration of the video that wasn’t supposed to go out to the public. That release date may have changed since, so we can’t make any hard bets for the moment.

Either that, or the upload itself was the error, and it has indeed revealed the day we can tuck into Marathon in earnest.

Whatever the case, we’ll just have to wait for official news from Bungie before making any set plans. Like, if you’re thinking of a leave day for Marathon’s launch (are any of you that excited?), maybe don’t put in that request just yet.

The first week of the Team of the Year promo is about to be over, and the TOTY Honourable Mentions items will be available soon in FC 26 Ultimate Team.

The Honourable Mentions items will be special cards of footballers who missed out on the TOTY starters. However, EA Sports will be releasing special cards for these players via packs. Let’s look at all the leaks that have appeared so far on social media, followed by when the cards will be available in packs.

All FC 26 TOTY Honourable Mentions players

So far, a few Honourable Mentions players are already available in Ultimate Team. These cards were released as part of SBCs and objectives. However, the whole HM team will be added to packs, and here are the cards that have leaked on social media.

• David Raya
• Denzel Dumfries
• Pacho
• Marquinhos
• Luis Diaz

More names are expected to be leaked once we get close to the launch date. Unlike the starter team, Honourable Mentions will all be added at the same time to packs. There could also be more cards appearing as SBCs and objectives in the days to follow.

FC 26 TOTY Honourable Mentions release countdown

The Honourable Mentions will be in packs along with the full starting lineups. The following countdown will expire once the cards are in packs. All Honourable Mentions from packs will be available for a week starting Friday, Jan. 23.

• 7pm CET

This is the usual schedule that’s followed by EA Sports when it comes to new promos. It will be interesting to find out which cards eventually make it to the official list.
