KAIZEN Cursed Technique Tier List [RYU]

Updated on April 16, 2026: Added Curse Energy Discharge from Ryu and True Love from Yuta since it was kind of fixed.

KAIZEN’s cursed technique system is all about progression and farming across Grade 4, 3, 2, 1 and Special. It’s not worth it to grind each Grade and CT so instead let’s talk about the best CTs in early, mid and late game. Here’s my KAIZEN cursed technique tier list and guide.

Cursed Technique Tier List in KAIZEN

The best cursed techniques in KAIZEN like Clans and Vows depend on if you’re going for a PVP or PVE build. You cannot go wrong with something like Mythical Beast Amber or Ten Shadows. That said, not all Special Grades are good for everything like Limitless being weak in PVE while being great for PVP. Let’s talk about each CT individually below and why I’ve ranked it the way I did.

Curse Energy Discharge Special Grade	PVP: A-Tier PVE: S-Tier • IMO competes with Sukuna for the 3rd spot in the top 3 best CTs in the game • It’s pure AOE damage with not a lot of utility so it’s amazing for PVE • For PVP, you have so much range to zone enemies and Granite Rain distance even gets boosted if you’re using the Clan • That said MBA outdamages it and Ten Shadows is better in PVE and PVP • Still one of the better CTs in KAIZEN
Pure Love Special Grade	PVP: B-Tier PVE: A-Tier • Kind of fixed but still a bit buggy to use • That said it deals a ton of damage with most moves so it’s great for PVE • The domain is a bit weak for PVP since you have to actually reach the swords and it’s not guaranteed you’ll get a good move • Overall it’s the opposite of Grand Luck where the base moves are really good and the Domain is weak • I’d still use it in PVE and sometimes PVP since you can have good combos
Mythical Beast Amber Special Grade	PVP: S-Tier PVE: S-Tier • Best CT for PVP and PVE • It’s better than Ten Shadows for group fights due to massive AOE damage but Ten Shadows is better solo • You have so much mobility with Z and X for PVP (Also great combo starters and extenders) • Plus the V move gives you so much safety with the massive jump for PVP and deals a ton of damage along with C for PVE • I’m still trying to figure what the Domain is good for since the lighting storm doesn’t micro-stun for combos or slow and it’s blockable so that’s the only weakness • But combine it with the Kashimo clan and you have one of the strongest CE combos in the game
Ten Shadows Special Grade	PVP: S-Tier PVE: S-Tier • Ten Shadows is better than MBA for solo fights IMO while MBA is better for groups • The wolves give you so much combo potential and are great extenders • In fact most summons are excellent DPS and combo extenders • But Mahoraga is so overpowered in both PVP and PVE but especially solo PVP outputting a ton of damage and pressure • That said it is one of the hardest CTs to grind • Mahoraga: Get 5 Chant Fragments in the Raid at the Zenin Estate Start up the ritual to fight Mahoraga and beat him to unlock him You get 10 more Chant Fragments to use him as a summon
King Curses Special Grade	PVP: A-Tier PVE: S-Tier • Some of the highest DPS potential of all CTs, especially with the Sukuna Clan • Best for both PVE and PVP though Limitless has an edge in PVP • Fuga/Divine Flame and the Domain have massive AOE damage that hits everything • That said, requires a ton of grinding for the base version and farming Domain Shards for the Domain like with any Special Grade • Just be careful of using the Sukuna Clan with this in PVP because the Clan ability is punishable due to animation lag
Idle Transfiguration Special Grade	PVP: B-Tier PVE: A-Tier • Up there at the top of A-Tier and sometimes competing with King Curses • Really strong against humanoid enemies due to the grabs • Has a lot of PVE and PVP flexible moves with both single target and AOE damage but it’s better for PVE • I would go for Idle over S-Tiers in progression if you don’t want to grind as much since IT is easier to farm and strong without Domain too
Limitless Special Grade	PVP: S-Tier PVE: C-Tier • The moves are amazing for stuns and ragdolls in PVP • That said Limitless isn’t top-tier anymore in terms of DPS for PVE and the domain is a bit weaker than before • Still OP for PVP but for PVE look elsewhere
Grand Luck Special Grade	PVP: C-Tier PVE: A-Tier • I’m ranking it higher than it deserves since the Domain is so good • Realistically though the base moves are a bit weak so it’s C-Tier without Domain • I wouldn’t use Grand Luck without the Domain at all
Blood Manipulation Grade 1	PVP: C-Tier PVE: C-Tier • It’s really strong for a kiting playstyle where you try to outrange your opponent • The R can deal a ton of damage on a full hit and the Clan ability heal plus speed buff are quite good for PVP • Plus it’s just really safe to play for PVE too due to great range • However, when you compare the damage and combos to higher-tier CTs it falls apart
Finger Bearer Grade 1	PVP: B-Tier PVE: B-Tier • The best mid-to-late game option if you want to main CE and CTs without weapons and fighting styles • The best G1 DPS for farming and I find it a bit easier to get than Blood Manipulation • Leans more toward PVE with its damage bursts but it’s okay for PVP as well if you learn how to land the moves reliably • That said even though the damage is good the combos here are bad
Cryofrost Grade 1	PVP: A-Tier PVE: C-Tier • One of the best CTs for a couple of specific uses which is bosses and PVP combos against unexperienced players • For PVP/Bosses Cryofrost has massive combo potential even though it doesn’t do the best damage like King Curses • Overall it’s not a bad pick if you know the combos but it doesn’t measure to higher-tiers DPS-wise
Straw Doll Grade 2	PVP: A-Tier PVE: B-Tier • Really underrated due to being Grade 2 but it’s actually an incredible farming tool and support CT • One of the best things to rush in PVE for progression • The V is your main tool for immobilization and comboing with Melee/Swords • Just an overall excellent supporting moveset that will carry you into the late game • Combine with Blood Scythe or Frost Fangs for a strong mid to late game build
Shock Amplification Grade 2	PVP: D-Tier PVE: B-Tier • Shock Amplification is another excellent PVE farming tool due to high AOE damage and being easy-to-get • Finger Bearer and Blood Manipulation are better but they’re also harder to grind • Cryofrost is better for PVP so SA is strictly for farming and progression • Once you get higher-tier CTs switch to them but SA will carry you there • One thing to note is that Shock Amp has better combos than Finger Bearer but FB has better burst
Rot Grade 1	PVP: D-Tier PVE: C-Tier • The weakest Grade 1 and weaker than some Grade 2s IMO • Grade 2 Shock Amp and Straw Doll are easier to get and better at PVE farming though • Only go for Rot if you really like the playstyle since it has good mobility and safe moves with the V and R • Otherwise it’s not super worth it to grind it since you can use those two Grade 2s to farm Special Grades • Okay for PVE but don’t use in for PVP
Devil’s Broom Grade 3	PVP: C-Tier PVE: D-Tier • Decent utility and great mobility with this one but overall weak DPS • Note that the M1s scale with the Weapon stat so it has its uses • Weaker than Cursed Speech
Cursed Speech Grade 3	PVP: D-Tier PVE: C-Tier • With the rework it’s actually quite good for PVE farming • The moves deal great AOE damage and there’s some PVP potential too mid-game with the Clan ability enhanced hitbox • That said, it gets outclassed by CTs B-Tier and higher
Boogie Woogie Grade 3	PVP: D-Tier PVE: D-Tier • Quite good to have as a mobility/utility tool on a Weapon or Melee focus build in PVP • That said there are better options and it’s virtually useless in PVE
Construction Grade 4	PVP: D-Tier PVE: D-Tier • An okay CT when you’re starting out for progression • Practically useless later so switch it out when you can
Cloning Technique Grade 4	PVP: D-Tier PVE: D-Tier • The weakest CT in the entire game

How to get stat resets in KAIZEN?

You can reset stats via Stat Purity Tokens which you can get from Chests, Bosses, World Bosses, AFK World or buy it with Robux.

How to farm a specific cursed technique in Kaizen?

Besides the usual core materials which you get from regular enemies and bosses, the last material in a row for advanced CTs is from that technique’s raid. For example, for Blood Manipulation you need to farm Death Painting/Choso raid or for Idle Transfiguration you need to farm Mahito/Train raid.

What stat boosts Cursed Technique damage in KAIZEN?

CTs are boosted by the Cursed Energy stat even though it doesn’t state that it boosts damage.

What is the best Cursed Technique progression?

Go for Construction then Straw Doll then Finger Bearer as optional before Idle Transfiguration if you don’t want to farm Domain Shards since IT is great even without the Domain. If you are farming Domain Shards then go for S-Tiers with domain as the best options in the game.

The People of Tortuga is one of several factions in Windrose, and finding the buyer can be a headscratcher. You might think that you’ll find them in Tortuga. That’s where the problem is: they’re at a different location.

This guide will help you find the People of Tortuga faction so that you can find the buyer and interact with him.

How to find the Tortuga faction in Windrose

Since the map of Windrose is procedurally generated, sharing the location of the People of Tortuga faction might not workout for you. Instead, here’s how you can find the faction quite easily.

Keep grinding the missions until you receive the Buccaneers quest.
This is a faction quest that you can undertake at character level 3.
The first task of the quest is to get 50 bags of gunpowder for the Buccaneers and deliver them to Henri Boucher.
The second task is to deliver the shipment of tanned hides to Charlie Sharpe.
Charlie Sharpe, incidentally, belongs to the People of Tortuga faction.
If you open the map now, the quest location will highlight where Chalie Sharpe is located. This is the same place where the People of Tortuga Faction can be found.

Complete the second task of Buccaneers, and you’ll have found the location of the People of Tortuga Faction. This is the most consistent method of finding the faction. Typically, you’ll find them at a hideout slightly distant from Tortuga.

Once you find the hideout, you’ll also find the trader waiting for you at the same location. You can then proceed with your transactions. If you want to focus back on the Buccaneers’ quest, there will be one more task for you to complete.
