How to use the Storage Closet in Schedule 1

Schedule 1 Westville

Schedule 1‘s v0.4.3 update brings metallic Storage Closets for you to buy and use to expand your business empire.

The closets are essentially better versions of the storage chests that we already had in-game. These closets offer more space for you to utilise in your base of operations. Let’s look at how to get these metallic closets and set them up.

How to get the Storage Closet in Schedule 1

You can buy the Storage Closet from Dan’s hardware store in Schedule 1. However, it will be locked for you when you’re just starting out. You’ll need to reach Bagman 1 rank at a minimum before the metallic items become available in the store.

Once unlocked, you’ll find four different options in the store.

  • Small: $150
  • Medium: $225
  • Large: $300
  • Huge: $500

How to use the Storage Closet in Schedule 1

The first step is to purchase it from the store. You can buy as many as you want. Once you purchase a closet, it will be added to your inventory slot. Go to your base of operations and select where you want to place the closet.

Select it from the inventory and place it on the spot. While the Small and Medium variants don’t take up much space, the Large and Huge ones are massive in size. Here’s the amount of inventory space each one offers.

  • Small: Six slots
  • Medium: Eight slots
  • Large: Twelve slots
  • Huge: Twenty slots

The Huge Storage Closet offers the best bang for the buck, but it’s expensive and needs plenty of space on your base. Incidentally, this is the only new item in the update, as the rest of the changes are tweaks to existing gameplay elements.

GTA 6 Jason Lucia car

Grand Theft Auto 6 is now just a little over nine months away, for real this time, and it’s still on track for its current release date.

That info comes straight after GTA publisher Take-Two’s earnings call today, which touted the upcoming fiscal year that will be “led by the November 19th release of Grand Theft Auto 6 with Rockstar’s launch marketing set to begin this summer,” in a statement to IGN.

And so, we now have some confirmation that the next time we’ll hear or see more about GTA 6, at least publicly and barring any more leaks, is this summer. And further confidence that the game won’t suffer from further delays.

As for recent rumors that GTA 6 will be foregoing physical editions in an effort to avoid more leaks, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told Variety “that’s not the plan.” So, get those disc drives ready on your PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

For now, we wait until the summer for some hands-on previews and probably a new trailer or two, including the first official look at gameplay. It could happen at Summer Game Fest or another seasonal gaming event, but it’s likely that Rockstar will release the information on their own along with media impressions.

Meanwhile, Take-Two also announced that GTA 5 has sold a whopping 225 million copies, which means GTA 6 has sky-high expectations to try and recreate that. It may not be possible, but if any game could do it, it’s likely this one.

GTA 6 is due to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 19, 2026, so start your countdowns now, if you somehow haven’t already.
