Freezing in your vehicle in My Winter Car is not a fun thing to happen, and you can use the built-in heater to prevent the situation.
The heater is present in every functional vehicle inside the game. In fact, you’ll find it in the very first car that waits outside your hotel room. However, the controls of the heating system are slightly confusing, and it’s easy to get the basics wrong.
This guide will help you figure out what you need to do to get the heating systems up and running so that you can drive your car without having to worry about the cold.

How does the Heater work in My Winter Car
You can find the heater in the cabin when you enter the car. The heater has two levers and buttons, so that part is easy to understand.
- The top lever controls the direction of air. If you want to blow the air into the cabin or windows, move the lever all the way to the right.
- The bottom lever controls temperature. Move it all the way to the left to get maximum heat.
- There’s a blower button under the window heater. Turn it on for the heater to work.
- You can turn it to low/high. If you don’t change turn it on, there won’t be airflow from the heater.
The rear window button is separate from the main heater. The rear window heater only heats the rear window. To keep the cabin temperature comfortable, you’ll need to rely on the main heater.
Additionally, you will need to ensure that the engine is warm. To do so, turn on the engine and wait for a few in-game minutes. The doors of your car must be closed, and the blower has to run for the heating to work.
How to use the room heater in My Winter Car
Since the temperature outside is low, you’ll also have to use the room heater. Room heaters work similarly, but they’re not placed in your car. Whether you’re using a room heater or the one inside your car, you’ll need to wait a bit. Just like in real life, the heaters take a few moments to generate heat.
You’ll need to use a room heater if the temperature is too low for you to sleep. Having ample fatigue is not key to falling asleep. You’ll also need to have a suitable temperature in your room to sleep.

The Firewood Cutter, aka the Lumber Conveyor, is an exceptional tool if you’re looking to sell and cut Firewood in My Winter Car.
This item can’t be used on its own, and you’ll need to use the tractor to do so. However, the job is easier said than done, and this guide will help you become a woodcutter in a few simple steps.

How to use the Lumber Conveyor in My Winter Car
The first task is to connect the Cutter to the Kekmet. It’s impossible to move the Lumber Conveyor from its stationary position without attaching it to your tractor. Hence, drive the tractor carefully and place it very close to the Conveyor. Keep the distance as minimal as possible, or else the alignment will be loose, and logs will fall.
You’ll find the rear hitch lever on the right side of the Kekmet. Use it to lower the attachment arms from the rear of the tractor. Get down, and click the connection point on the cutter (once the attachment arms have been lowered). If aligned properly, the cutter will connect with the Kekmet.
Next, use the PTO lever located to the left of the steering wheel of the Kekmet. Activate it to start the sdrive shaft and the Conveyor. If you want the cutter to work fast, go for a higher RPM. However, that will be less conducive to a longer cutting session.
How to cut the Firewood in My Winter Car
Once you have completed all the steps mentioned earlier in the guide, take a log from the wood pile. Then, place it in the cutter slot. The log will automatically split the logs into pieces based on how high the RPM is. The Conveyor will automatically place the Firewood in the trailer (don’t forget to attach it).
