How to get the Aviaries Passepartout in MIO: Memories in Orbit

A colorful screenshot from Mio: Memories in Orbit showing a black and yellow female robot standing in front of a metal door with intricate designs in it.

The vast majority of the ship in MIO: Memories in Orbit will initially be closed off. You’ll need to explore the Vessel to open locked doors from the other side, or in the case of the Aviaries, you’ll have to find keys or items to unlock them.

In MIO: Memories in Orbit, the Aviaries are located above Shii, where you get the map, and to the right of Estragon the Librarian and Noden the Spine. As is the case with the Silo Access Badge, you need the Aviaries Passepartout to gain access to this area. Luckily for players, the item isn’t too far from where the locked door is, but you will need to put in a bit of effort before you can add it to your inventory.

Aviaries Passepartout location

The Aviaries Passepartout can be found in the Feral Undergrowth behind the Flora boss, located on the map below. You have to beat the boss before you can get to the Aviaries Passepartout, which will appear as a glowing object on the ground to the right of where Flora was.

As you approach the location, a giant pink flower will spawn. This flower is Flora, the Sentient Pearltrap. Flora will stay rooted to the right side of the screen, and most of its attacks involve close-range jabs. I defeated this boss on my first try by staying up in the air using jumps and grappling to the nearby hook whenever I ran out of airtime.

How to use the Aviaries Passepartout in MIO: Memories in Orbit

Once you’ve picked up the Aviaries Passepartout, it’ll automatically be added to your inventory. You can then head to the door, which is marked on the map below, to open it. I reached it from the inside of the Aviaries by travelling through the Bell Tower, but you can also get there by taking the elevator closest to Mel to the L1: The Spine floor, and heading to the right.

Obviously, if you reach the door from inside the Aviaries, it won’t open a “new” area. Opening this door, however, makes getting to the Aviaries that much easier if you have yet to unlock fast travel. After all, who really wants to spend all their time going back and forth through an area they’ve already been before?

What to expect from Bladesong

If you’ve been playing video games for as many years as I have, you must have used plenty of swords. In Bladesong, you can craft swords without any limits. Thanks to its modular crafting system, you can craft a sword of any design, shape, and size.

With warriors and nobles seeking your services, you’ll have to meet specific needs and expectations. Making a sword will be easy, but giving it shape and turning it into a masterpiece won’t be so simple. You’ll also have to discover secrets in Eren Keep as you spend most of your time smithing the next perfect sword.

There’s a Campaign mode available for those who want to enjoy a narrative journey. Alternatively, you can simply try out your imagination in the Creative mode. If you want to check out the core gameplay, a free demo is available on Steam.
