How to get and use Auronyx in Arknights Endfield

Auronyx is one of the many valuable items to add to your inventory in Arknights Endfield when you clear the mid-game content.

This special resource is required to upgrade your weapons past the overall cap of 40 and raise them to level 60. Unless you use Auronyx, you won’t be able to bypass the cap. You’ll need to have level 60 weapons for your main team to take on the endgame challenges.

This guide will help you find the locations of this rare resource.

Best Auronyx location in Arknights Endfield

To find Auronyx, you’ll have to look for Rare Ores nodes. These nodes typically refer to ores that have a low spawn rate on the map. The same applies to Kalkonyx as well (used to bypass the weapon level cap of 20). Compared to Kalkonyx, Auronyx is a lot less frequently found on the map.

To find Auronyx, you’ll want to look in the Origin Lodespring region. This is a relatively mid-game region; if you haven’t unlocked it, don’t stress too much. You’ll eventually unlock it by completing the main story.

The first location can be reached from the Mining Camp spot. Head right from the location, and there will be an Auronyx node right at the beginning of the narrow path that takes you to the Landbreaker Camp. A second one is towards the western part of the map.

From Mining Camp, go left and take the main path to the region’s northern section. Take a left turn from the main path, and you’ll reach a second ore deposit. Travel further to the top, and you’ll find a third ore at this location.

Auronyx nodes have limited quantities, and usually, you’ll find a maximum of 10 at once. However, the resource respawns after a certain interval.

How to use Auronyx in Arknights Endfield

The Auronyx has only one purpose: to unlock your weapon’s level cap and raise it from 40 to 60. You’ll require a fair amount of Auronyx to level up your main weapons. Hence, try to hit the locations marked on the image above, and farm as much of the resource as possible.

The gun is arguably one of the coolest weapons to use in LORT, and you can use it irrespective of the adventurer you pick.

However, the weapon will remain locked at first, and doesn’t appear as random loot until you complete a specific achievement. This guide will make it easy for you to obtain the gun for the first time in LORT, which will then add it to the pool of possible spawns.

How to unlock the gun in LORT

Almost every weapon in LORT is locked when you start playing for the first time. To unlock the weapon, you’ll need to complete a specific task. For the gun, you’ll need to discover it on the map. This isn’t an easy task since LORT doesn’t have a traditional map (at least not to my knowledge).

The gun always appears on top of the grave shown in the image above. This will be true until you have found it for the first time. When you find it, you can add it to your adventurer. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing a melee or a ranged adventurer. Of course, using it with a ranged character is going to have certain advantages.

How to get the gun in LORT

Once you’ve unlocked the gun, it will appear randomly on your run. It could be obtained from a chest that you unlock with gold. The item can also drop from certain enemies randomly. Weapon items typically drop from harder enemies, so try to slay some of the more challenging foes. Ultimately, it’s all down to luck whether you get it once you have unlocked it.
