The best Grimoire, Race, Trait and Weapon in Clover Origins depend on various factors. For example the best Grimoires have ranking reasons as you’ll see but the best Race depends on which Grimoire you pick. Weapons are easier to rank since they have linear progression. Let’s talk about them all in my Clover Origins tier list and guide.

Clover Origins Magic Tier List

Below you’ll find detailed individual breakdowns of the best Grimoires in Clover Origins. I’ll also go into how to get all skills for Wind and Anti Magic. The PVP Tier is for Time but Time is also pretty good for PVE. That said the PVE rankings specialize for bosses and farming so they are arranged in power from left to right. Don’t use the weak ones at all. Let’s dive into the individual rankings below.

Grimoire Note: If you have a transformation unlocked on a Grimoire and you switch to another, that transformation will be saved if you return.

Best PVP Grimoires

Time Mythical	• Time doesn’t have the best PVE DPS in the game for farming but it still competes well with other PVEs • That said it’s the best PVP Grimoire in the game • This is because it has a ton of setup moves, grabs and pulls that are amazing for combos • Not to mention it has the best defenses with Time Stop and Time Dodge • So it’s S-Tier for PVP and lower S-Tier for PVE
Fire Mareleona Legendary	• Currently one of the best PVP and PVE movesets in the game • The combos, punches and barrages are high DPS for Raid bosses and players alike • Plus you get great AOE damage with Vortex and Spirit • Make sure to get Salamander spirit with 4 Fire Spirit Fragments from Vermillion Fire Dungeon Boss in Fire Dungeon • That extra burn damage is what makes Mareleona so competitive in PVP
Light Mythical	• Light is without a doubt the best PVE AOE damage Grimoire in Clover Origins and second-best PVP • It’s even better than Wind with Transformation • Every move is just a really strong AOE burst • And Light Speed is great for PVP for defense and mobility • Light does it all but I give it an edge in PVE and an edge to Time for PVP

S-Tier PVE Grimoires

Light Mythical	• Light is without a doubt the best PVE AOE damage Grimoire in Clover Origins • It’s even better than Wind with Transformation • Every move is just a really strong AOE burst • And Light Speed is great for PVP for defense and mobility • Light does it all but I give it an edge in PVE and an edge to Time for PVP
Fire Mareleona Legendary	• Currently one of the best PVP and PVE movesets in the game • The combos, punches and barrages are high DPS for Raid bosses and players alike • Plus you get great AOE damage with Vortex and Spirit • Make sure to get Salamander spirit with 4 Fire Spirit Fragments from Vermillion Fire Dungeon Boss in Fire Dungeon • That extra burn damage is what makes Mareleona so competitive
Wind Legendary	• With Wind Transformation, this is the strongest AOE damage moveset in the game • You have access to more reliable damage moves that aren’t bugged and work no matter the hitbox • It’s strong against both crowd farming, bosses and oppressive in PVP • Plus you have the best synergy with the Sylph buffs • Works best with the Angel race Special Notes: • You need Wind Orbs for Wind Transformation • Farm them from Yuno boss • Yuno boss is at Yuno Arena behind Boar Boss or inside the Dungeon as the final boss • For Sylph also farm Yuno boss for Wind Fragments • Craft at Blacksmith for 4 Wind Fragments Wind Grimoire + Sylph Buffs: +15% Move Speed +10% Damage +10% Health Regen out of combat +15% Dash Distance
Fire Magna Epic	• A ton of high damage AOE moves that are less buggy than Lightning but don’t have as much single target burst • Can be better than Legendaries if compared to them without transformations • An excellent moveset for PVE farming

A-Tier PVE Grimoires

Time Mythical	• Time doesn’t have the best PVE DPS in the game for farming but it still competes well with other PVEs • That said it’s the best PVP Grimoire in the game • This is because it has a ton of setup moves, grabs and pulls that are amazing for combos • Not to mention it has the best defenses with Time Stop and Time Dodge • So it’s S-Tier for PVP and lower S-Tier for PVE
Lightning Epic	• Can potentially deal a ton of damage per skill outdamaging Wind/Anti without Transformation • The reason why it’s not S-Tier is that the hitboxes are bugged • If you’re fighting enemies with large hitboxes and every particle of the move hits you’re dealing S-Tier damage • If you’re fighting enemies with smaller hitboxes not all the particles will hit and you’ll be dealing less damage • Keep this in mind if you want to max out Lightning, it’s really strong but buggy • Max out Magic and Health and decent Mana to spam moves
Anti Magic Legendary	• Anti-Magic is eventually decently strong with Demon Transformation but it just doesn’t scale as well as other Grimoires • You scale with Melee and have a ton of moves for great AOE and boss damage • Plus, when combined with lifesteal from Devil race you’re virtually unkillable • That said the other PVE Grimoires just have better options for farming and are more reliable IMO • Overall, with transformation, you can have a lot of sustain with lifesteal from Devil/Berserk but doing damage is easier with the options above Special Notes: • Max Defense and Melee then Sword and use Imperial Blade or Orc/Goblin Axe as your secondary • You need Litch Orbs for Anti Magic skills • These are dropped from the Litch boss in the Litch Arena Raid • The Arena/Raid portal is located on the forehead of the giant skull to the left of Grimoire Gacha Tower • You just have to climb up to the skull by spamming jumps until you reach the top then drop down to the forehead portal
Dark Epic	• Not as complex as Wind/Light and weaker burst than Lightning but I love Dark for PVE • It’s easier to get and deals excellent AOE damage for farming • Plus it’s not buggy and works really well in every stage of the game without requiring special grinding • Dark is the most reliable Magic IMO if you don’t have Wind Transformation/Anti Magic Transformation/Light

B-Tier PVE Grimoires

Fire Rare	• Weaker than Lightning and Magna but is still reliable • Better than Earth and Water, especially with Salamander • Excellent beginner PVE farming tool
Earth Uncommon	• Overall less DPS than Lightning and Fire • However Earth is very reliable for farming bosses • Max Health and Magic with around 750 points in Mana for optimal DPS • I also recommend eventually using the Axe or Imperial Blade as a secondary and maxing Sword • This build is a very impressive and reliable boss farming method that you can play without worrying about bugs
Water Rare	• Water potentially deals more damage than Earth and Fire but not Lightning • The reason why it’s in B-Tier is that the moves are a bit buggy and you can miss out on DPS because of this • That said, it’s got potentially powerful moves like Water Barrage that can hit 3 times for 25k+ damage per hit • The ultimate can also stack hits for a ton of damage • Just keep in mind that your mileage may vary due to buggy hitboxes

C-Tier PVE Grimoires

Reinforcement Common Regen Common	• Both may be good for beginners but I wouldn’t bother • The DPS is weak and a lot of moves have weird wind-up animations that make it awkward to hit enemies • Just use Earth as a beginner instead for reliable DPS or check out the higher tier movesets

Clover Origins Race Tier List

The best race in Clover Origins is a very straightforward part of your build since it depends on your Grimoire. That said there are some decent alternatives if you cannot get Legendary races. Check out the ranking reasons below.

S-Tier Races

Races	Ranking Reasons & Notes
Spirit Mythical	• A massive Magic damage boost due to both the percentage damage increase, cooldown reduction and mana regen • The best damage Race in the game and that means the best race overall since I value DPS more • Still, you do get a little damage resistance from Magic which is nice • Angel and Paladin and even Devil with lifesteal are a little better if you’re running Berserk trait though
Devil Legendary	• While technically equal with Angel depending on your Grimoire, Devil has the second-highest potential for damage • When combined with Anti Magic or Dark the lifesteal makes you immortal and it can stack with other lifesteal sources • Plus you get a 10% damage boost and 20% damage reduction from Grimoires • The general rule is Devil is the best with Anti Magic and Dark and Angel is best with Wind and other non-weapon Grimoires • Even stronger than Angel if you’re playing solo and not in teams
Paladin Mythical	• Similar to Angel and just as strong if not stronger • Basically combines the best defensive aspects of Angel with a little damage boost from Devil • It makes it so you get the best of both worlds but not as good as focusing on offense or defense • Devil is still better for damage • So your choice is Angel for best defense, Devil for best offense and Paladin for the best mix • Plus, Paladin is great in Raids with a team to share buffs

A-Tier Races

Angel Legendary	• Even though Devil has higher damage potential than Angel, Angel is still really strong • The HP regen and massive 40% damage reduction make you really tanky but not as tanky as Devil lifesteal • Still the damage reduction helps you maintain the Berserker trait’s damage boost for longer • Angel is better with Wind, Lightning and other Grimoires that can’t utilize lifesteal as well as Anti Magic or Dark • That said Angel is also stronger in teams because it shares its buffs and stacks with other Angels
Dwarf Uncommon	• Drastically weaker than Angel but… • Works really well for Berserk due to its damage reduction which allows you to maintain the damage boost for longer

B-Tier Races

Dark Elf Epic	• Decent alternative to Devil for a damage boost • Works best with Anti Magic and Dark for M1 attack speed and damage
Witch Epic	• The same 5% damage boost as Dark Elf but boosts mana regen instead of attack speed • Similar to DE in power but better for Wind, Time and other non-weapon grimoires

C-Tier Races

Elf Rare	• The weakest Race in the game but still good if you are just a Human
Noble Uncommon	• Can be good for farming cash if you’re specifically going for a cash farm session • Otherwise not good

D-Tier Races

Best Weapons in Clover Origins

Weapons aren’t as strong as Grimoires but they can still provide some utility or a secondary DPS moveset in addition to your main Grimoire. Here are the top 3 best weapons in Clover Origins and how to get them:

1. Imperial Sword/Wand: The highest DPS weapons in the game. Sword has both regen utility and an OP AOE ranged attack with the beam. Wand has high AOE DPS even though it can be buggy sometimes. That said, while you can grind the Sword, the Wand is a gamepass Robux weapon and I can’t really recommend going for it using Robux.

   • How to Get Imperial Sword: Buy from Gamepass using Robux or get from Black Market in safe zones using Black Crystals from raids.

2. Orc/Goblin Axe: Realistically the best budget weapon in the game since it’s much easier to get than Imperial Sword and though it’s weaker, it still deals good damage. Really strong AOE farming option to have both as primary DPS early and secondary DPS later with Grimoires.

   • How to Get Axe: Drops from the Orc King boss which is the last normal boss behind the Boar Boss.

3. Spear: Actually a pretty great and underrated option for bosses due to ranged poke.

   • How to Get Spear: Buy it from Shop – Seller 2 in the second village to the left of the Grimoire Tower and left from the Valley of Bones/Giant Skull waterfall.

Boxing Gloves are great if you don’t want to max Sword and instead want to go for Melee. Get them from the Noleto Shop Seller (Third village store).

Best Trait in Clover Origins

Here are the top 3 best traits in Clover Origins which you can get at the Trait Gacha NPC near the starting safe zone:

1. Berserker Instinct: Think of HP as your resource for damage because Berserker is the best trait giving you a huge DPS boost if you fight on low HP which combines great with Devil’s lifesteal, Angel’s damage reduction or Dwarf’s buffs for beginners to stay low while being safe. Best on Anti Magic and Dark builds but good on any Grimoire.
2. Critical Genius: Get a good mana pool and spam top-tier Grimoire skills for a ton of sustained damage with crits.
3. Bloodthirst: A great defensive option for sustaining in Raids that goes well with other lifesteal effects like Devil.

Best Accesories in Clover Origins

Here are the best accesories for any build in Clover Origins that you can get without paying any Robux:

1. Litch Wings: +25,000 HP, +500 Mana (Dropped by Litch, Litch Raid is on the forehead of the giant skull/waterfall to the left of Grimoire Gacha tower – Just keep jumping/climbing to the sides of the skull to reach it).
2. Leather Armor: +5000 HP, +150 Mana (Sea 2 Shop/Shop Seller 4).
3. Hood: +850 HP, +55 Mana (Dropped from Orc King boss).
4. Belt: +500 HP, +25 Mana (Dropped from Boar Boss).

Forza Horizon 6 somehow leaked and was cracked wide open over the weekend, leading to some players gaining access to it well ahead of its launch day.

The game isn’t due to launch until May 19 (the Premium Edition gets access four days earlier), but many have somehow unlocked and begun playing the game as early as a few days ago. Gameplay videos have begun appearing on YouTube, Twitch, and other websites, and it’s gotten a bit out of hand, forcing the game’s devs to address it.

It seems that players accessing the game likely has something to do with an early access review build appearing as 155 GB of unencrypted downloadable files on SteamDB, and developer Playground Games says it is “not the result of a pre-load issue.” It’s possible that a content creator or reviewer with early access broke embargo and made it all possible.

“We are taking strict enforcement action against any individuals found accessing this build including franchise-wide and hardware bans,” Playground said. “We encourage fans to sit tight for the game’s release on May 19.”

The full game is now reportedly appearing on piracy sites, although some who have accessed it say they were able to do so simply by pre-ordering. The player who was first to crack the game says that its files were not encrypted, so it’s turned into a bit of a blame game.

No matter who or what is at fault, Playground says it may be banning people who play it early, and some have taken exception to that by claiming that it was a mistake on the studio’s end and that they should not be punished for playing the game early because of it.

But for those who pirated the game illegally once it leaked, there’s no real argument to be had, so think twice before booting up the game before it’s unlocked for real later this week or next, depending on which edition you buy.
