Standing in escape maze by card guard in disney dreamlight valley

A second maze has opened up on the Springtime Floating Festival event island, challenging you to run through an additional tricky course in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The Escape Maze puzzle is quite a tough one, but it must be completed to claim an exclusive event prize.

Regardless of whether you’ve tackled the other maze puzzle in this event yet, this one looks quite different and can be a lot more challenging to get through. You’ve got to make it to the end to claim your reward, though, so here’s how to solve the Springtime Floating Festival Escape Maze puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Springtime Floating Festival Escape Maze puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Escape Maze puzzle in the Springtime Floating Festival event, you need to find your way through a heavily guarded maze without being caught by the Queen of Hearts card guards. This puzzle is extra tough since you not only need to find a path to the end, but also must avoid the guards who are trying to catch you.

How to enter Springtime Floating Festival Escape Maze puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start the Escape Maze puzzle, you need to interact with the sparkling spot next to the wooden arrow sign pointing right on the event island. This spot is right next to the entrance for the Labyrinth puzzle, so it’s easy to confuse the two. If you’re having trouble locating the right spot, here’s a full breakdown of how to find it.

  • Start at the well on the event island. This is the spot where you spawn every time you first arrive on the island.
  • Head straight. Go under the archway of Tinker Bell’s house, and keep heading straight after.
  • Go through Alice’s Curious Labyrinth hedge archway. Both maze puzzles are located through this arch.
  • Approach and interact with the wooden arrow sign on the right. The mazes are right next to each other, so precision is key here if you want to choose the right one.

How to get through Springtime Floating Festival Escape Maze puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Your goal in the Escape Maze puzzle is to find your way to the end of the maze without being caught in any of the guards’ spotlights. If you’re caught, you’ll be sent back a bit, backtracking on the progress you made. If you’re struggling to make it to the end, here’s a full walkthrough of how to find it.

  • Head through the stone archway and make a left to enter the maze.
  • Sneak past the guards’ spotlight on your right to progress.
  • Follow the path forward, steering away from all stationary guards as you continue on your way.
  • When you find the smiling giant yellow flower from Alice in Wonderland, pause and watch the rotation of spotlights. When the timing is right, enter the circle and head right, walking past the flower. Walk slowly and wait for the light in front of you to move out of the way to get past it without being caught.
  • Head right after exiting the circle of spotlights.
  • Soon after, you’ll find a fork in the road with three different pathways. Head left here to continue along the right path.
  • Proceed forward until you encounter another spotlight. Make a left once it passes.
  • Continue until you find yet another spotlight moving down a pathway. Wait for it to pass, then head right.
  • Open the red chest by the maze exit to claim your reward.

After opening the chest, you can interact with the sparkling spot right behind it to exit the maze, officially finishing this event puzzle. If you get stuck at any point, we’ve also got a video of the correct path from start to finish to help you find your way through it.

Forza Horizon 6 Ice

Forza Horizon 6 somehow leaked and was cracked wide open over the weekend, leading to some players gaining access to it well ahead of its launch day.

The game isn’t due to launch until May 19 (the Premium Edition gets access four days earlier), but many have somehow unlocked and begun playing the game as early as a few days ago. Gameplay videos have begun appearing on YouTube, Twitch, and other websites, and it’s gotten a bit out of hand, forcing the game’s devs to address it.

It seems that players accessing the game likely has something to do with an early access review build appearing as 155 GB of unencrypted downloadable files on SteamDB, and developer Playground Games says it is “not the result of a pre-load issue.” It’s possible that a content creator or reviewer with early access broke embargo and made it all possible.

“We are taking strict enforcement action against any individuals found accessing this build including franchise-wide and hardware bans,” Playground said. “We encourage fans to sit tight for the game’s release on May 19.”

The full game is now reportedly appearing on piracy sites, although some who have accessed it say they were able to do so simply by pre-ordering. The player who was first to crack the game says that its files were not encrypted, so it’s turned into a bit of a blame game.

No matter who or what is at fault, Playground says it may be banning people who play it early, and some have taken exception to that by claiming that it was a mistake on the studio’s end and that they should not be punished for playing the game early because of it.

But for those who pirated the game illegally once it leaked, there’s no real argument to be had, so think twice before booting up the game before it’s unlocked for real later this week or next, depending on which edition you buy.
