All The Division 2 Cherry Blossom Event rewards and how to get them

Kitsune kit in The Division 2

The Cherry Blossom event has arrived in The Division 2, and it features some exciting rewards that you can get for free. However, you will need to take down some strong enemies as part of this event.

Let’s find out all the key details you need to know for this special event.

How to get Cherry Blossom event keys in The Division 2

To unlock rewards from the event, you’ll need to get special keys. There are different ways to obtain the keys.

Kitsunebi Ambushes

The Kitsunebi will ambush the streets every 10 minutes, and you can take them down to get event keys. These are special, named enemies that have a shared health link. Since their tech is unstable, they can sometimes do self-damage and break the link. Look out for those windows to eliminate them as much as possible.

Ronin

Once you’re done with the Kitsunebi, you’ll have to face the Ronin. If you’re playing in a group, you’ll have to face both the Fox Ronin and the Red Ronin simultaneously. The Ronin will be a harder assignment, and you’ll get event keys by defeating them. If you play at greater difficulties, you’ll have a greater chance for event keys to spawn.

Exploration

While the event is live, you’ll find Cherry Blossom decorations spread all around DC. Interact with them to free their corruption. There are 40 decorations to restore, and you’ll get three additional attempts daily. However, you’ll raise the chances of enemy ambushes when trying to restore these decorations.

As explained by Ubisoft, interacting with the decorations doesn’t guarantee you keys. Instead, you’ll end up facing a Kitsunebi encounter. Complete the encounter successfully, and you’ll be able to get event keys.

Players exploring the world of Windrose

Tanned Leather is one of the more important resources in Windrose, and it has different purposes. Obtaining this leather isn’t too difficult, but you’ll need to clear a fair bit of in-game content and build an additional item.

Let’s find out how you can get a steady supply of Tanned Leather in the game.

How to get Tanned Leather in Windrose

Tanned Leather can be crafted in Windrose. For starters, you’ll need to collect raw hides. Raw hide can be obtained quite easily, but you’ll need to hunt. If you’re in the early game stage, either wolves or deer work. They’re not so dangerous, and you can kill them quite easily. You’ll also need your skinning knife in hand to get the hide.

Now that you have your hide, you’ll need to get a Tanning Rack. This item has to be unlocked via its recipe, and it allows you to dry raw hide. This process is necessary when you want to convert raw hide into Tanned Leather.

You can make Clay Bottles from the Alchemy Table. Once it’s done, you can now make Tannin with Hardwood Bark and a Clay Bottle. You’ll need this item for the production of Tanned Leather.

Once you have built and placed your Tanning Rack, add the raw hide to one of its slots. Add either a tanning agent or a source of fuel that will be consumed during the process. If you have Tannin, it will work just fine.

You’ll need to wait for some time for the process to complete. Once done, you’ll have your Tanned Leather.

How to use Tanned Leather in Windrose

Tanned Leather has plenty of use when it comes to crafting armor. Almost every mid and end-game item will need Tanned Leather. The demand for it goes up once you unlock Foothills, which is the second biome in the game.

However, you can start collecting the required materials like Clay and Rough Hides early to make things easier when you’ll actually need Tanned Leather in your inventory.
