A games company released agentic tools to generate infinite AI slop, and of course you have already guessed that it’s Roblox

Numerous Roblox characters standing in the street.

It seems to me that every weekend that I sit down to write about what’s happening in video games, some company out there comes up with a radical new way to use AI, despite the fact that everyone and anyone is hating on the technology’s involvement with art. Sure, it has its uses, but fully generating games should never be the end goal; that’s not what Roblox wants to hear.

As per GamesIndustry.biz, Roblox is going all in with AI by introducing “agentic” tools that will help aspiring creators make experiences for the game essentially in collaboration with an AI agent that would be a “collaborative development partner that works with creators to analyze the game’s code and data model, ask clarifying questions, and turn a complex prompt into a highly detailed, reviewable, editable action plan.”

On top of “helping,” the AI component will also allow users to generate actual content, including meshes and models, paving the way for fully generated experiences on the platform. Furthermore, from the videos provided by Roblox in a post regarding this AI agent, a user is shown typing in a prompt and essentially watching the entire thing build itself out, as well as autonomously controlling the player character and performing set commands.

It seems to me that they’re working hard to automate as much of the development process as possible, since the combination of the agent doing so many things on its own based on single prompts and AI-generated content and assets that would later be added to the experience is essentially boiling down development to a back-and-forth between you and the text box. I am as skeptical about this as you can imagine, and I have no hope that this will lead to better games whatsoever.

In fact, what I predict will happen is that loads of people who previously wouldn’t have possessed the skills necessary to create something of actual value will hop onto this feature and spam-create so many experiences that they’ll make Steal a Brainrot look like Da Vinci’s paintings by comparison. AI slop never brought anything good to anyone and will certainly not be a good thing for younger audiences to be exposed and “used” to, not that they aren’t being fed AI-generated scraps already.

Roblox Corporation was bound to pursue AI at some point, but I never could have imagined that it would be to this degree. It is genuinely throwing the whole concept of development into the AI meat grinder, where, in the end, mass production will be all that matters.

Maps in BidKing

The key to winning auctions and building your empire in BidKing is often hidden behind the collectors you choose. While several options are available for you to use, you need to select carefully. Each collector has a unique skill, and some are better than the rest.

This guide will help you figure out the best collectors you can unlock and use.

Best collector skills in BidKing

The table below has a list of what I consider the best collectors in BidKing. Their skills will help you have some big advantages over your competitors before you lodge your next bid.

CollectorSkill
AishaRelic’s InsightOne of the very best skills to have if you can go past the first round. The skill reveals the outline based on the item’s rarity after each round. If you can enter Round 3, you’ll know how many White, Green, and Blue items are located in the lot. This is amazing information to have before you place your next bid.
IvanArms InstinctWeapons sell for higher prices, which will be highlighted by the skill. All Gear, Energy, and Transportation collectibles will also be highlighted, but I love this skill for finding out hidden weapons.
IsabellaRare ValuationShe can immediately reveal the rarity of the highest-rarity collectible that you can find. This will immediately give you a good idea of how much profit you can possibly make from your purchase. Her skill also highlights outlines of four Gems and Minerals collectibles at random. Gems typically fetch good prices, so it’s a nice bit of information to have.
RavenEndgame InsightThis collector is amazing if you can bid your way to the fifth round. The rarity of every collectible will be disclosed before you land in the final bid. Having that information will help you decide if you should put in a final bid or abstain from spending extra.
VictorValue InsightThis skill will show the total number of Purple, Gold, and Red rarity collectibles. In short, you’ll have a precise idea of whether the purchase you’re about to make has anything of substantial value.
EthanSpatial AwarenessEthan can reveal the outlines of five random collectible types. In the subsequent rounds, he will reveal the outlines of all known-rarity collectibles. If you reach the final round, he will reveal the outlines of every available collectible you can find.

.

While every collector has unique use-case scenarios for their skills, you’ll need to predict accurately. Overbidding too much can make you take a loss and erase your credits. Unfortunately, none of the collectors mentioned on the table above are available for free, but you can unlock them for free using the in-game goodies that you’ll get at launch.
