All secret Charm locations in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event is one of the biggest we’ve ever gotten, and it also comes with more unlockable rewards than any other one has so far. Some of the trickier ones to unlock are the secret Charms, which can be difficult to locate.

These Charms aren’t listed on the main event page and instead are only viewable from the character customization page. They’re easy to miss as a reward you should be working toward, and after you do learn about them, they’re quite difficult to obtain on your own. Here are all the secret Charm locations in Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event.

How to get all Alan Wake Phasmophobia event Charms

There are four secret Charms you can earn in Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event. To unlock each one, you must find and pick up the hidden collectible present on each of the four event maps. Here are the four Charms you can get and where you need to go searching for the item of the same name.

Name Location
Mr. Drippy Mascot Coffee World (Camp Woodwind)
Deer Mask Cauldron Lake (Grafton Farmhouse)
Lunchbox Elderwood Palace Lodge (Bleasdale Farmhouse)
Thermos Oh Deer Diner (Nell’s Diner)

Alan Wake Phasmophobia event Charm locations

The spawn locations for the Charms you can unlock in this event are somewhat random, as they don’t have one fixed location that they stick to, like the Dolls you also need to find in this event do. Luckily, though, they only rotate between a select few spots, so although there’s no way to know which one each Charm will appear at, you only need to check out a few of them to find each one.

We’ve listed all possible spawn locations we’ve found for each Charm below. Based on our gameplay so far, it seems like there are about four to six different possible spawn locations for each one. If we do end up uncovering any more, though, we’ll add them here.

Where to find Mr. Drippy Mascot in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

There are four spawn spots where we’ve encountered Mr. Drippy around Coffee World.

  • Sitting on the picnic table that’s close to the white tent in the main camping area.
  • Sitting on the left edge of the lover’s bench near the back of the map.
  • On a toilet in the bathrooms located next to the white tents by the fire pit.
  • On the cornhole game in the first white tent close to the campfire circle.

Where to find Deer Mask in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

There are six possible spawn locations where we’ve encountered the Deer Mask Charm on the Cauldron Lake map.

  • In the freezer in the kitchen on the first floor of the map.
  • On a mannequin’s face in the mannequin room on the first floor.
  • Inside the brown trunk in the primary bedroom on the second floor.
  • Hanging on a coat rack in the doll room on the second floor.
  • On top of some stacked boxes to the left of the massive, gaping hole in the roof of the attic.
  • Sitting on a shelf in the hallway on your left side upon reaching the second floor.

Where to find Lunchbox in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

There are five spots you can check for the Lunchbox Charm at Elderwood Palace Lodge.

  • On a green box near the back of the laundry and storage room on the first floor.
  • Inside a cabinet in the corner of the trophy room on the second floor.
  • Next to the shovel by the tree in the backyard garden area.
  • Underneath the bed in the witchy bedroom in the attic.
  • In the kitchen on the first floor, sitting on the counter near the spilled wine.

Where to find Thermos in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

The Thermos Charm has six possible spawn locations around the Oh Deer Diner map.

  • Sitting on the booth on the right in the corner area that’s underneath the stop sign in the main dining room.
  • On a different booth right at the edge, close to the hallway entrance in the dining room. This booth is right across from the other area where it can appear.
  • On a red box underneath the counter on your right, immediately after entering the kitchen area from the double doors behind the counter.
  • In the janitor’s room, underneath a yellow sign on top of the cleaning cart.
  • In between the security monitor screens that are sitting between the two filing cabinets in the manager’s office.
  • In the staff room, on the counter near the coffee pot.

If you’re up for more collectible hunting, you may want to get to work finding all Dolls next, as you need them to earn more event rewards. There are lots of them to find, with a few scattered around each map, so you’ll need to visit Elderwood Palace LodgeCoffee WorldOh Deer Diner, and Cauldron Lake to collect them all.

Palia Royal Highlands promo image

The Royal Highlands update in Palia has made the map bigger, but we can save our time and energy by finding a horse for ourselves. To make matters even better, all of us can have the mount for free.

However, there are a few tasks to complete before we can get our hands on our stallion.

How to unlock your horse in Palia Royal Highlands update

The first task is to reach the Royal Highlands region. If you’re someone new to the game, you should still be able to access the location. However, you’ll come across certain spoilers for content related to the main campaign.

Next, we will need to find Hassian, an NPC, and you’ll find a horse next to him. The horse next to Hassian will be trapped in amber. You’ll have to free it by using your pickaxe, which can be done after starting the Before the Dawn quest.

Next, look for Dawnspur Lilies to feed the horse. You’ll find the flowers in the nearby locations, and they’re easy to find. Once you find three flowers, return to the horse. Hassian will then ask you to ride the new mount. He will claim that the horse appears to be fond of you, and you’ll find out if that’s not the case. Hassian will then return to the camp, leaving you with your mount.

Open the tool menu and choose the saddle icon. You’ll now find the horse added to your list of options. Select the horse, and it will appear as your ride. You move on the horse by using the same controls that you use for your character.

Do note that your horse will have a stamina gauge that will empty when it sprints. Once the bar is depleted, it will move more slowly until the stamina is refilled. To prevent that from happening, move through golden orbs since that will partially restore the lost stamina.

Combined with your ranch, you can also breed your horses and ride them. It’s a really cool mechanic that will save a lot of time during exploration. Since new players can also access Royal Highlands early, you can make your mount a part of your journey.
