Perhaps the scariest spot you have to explore for Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event is Cauldron Lake, a terrifying, dark, and run-down home that hides many secrets, including an array of Dolls you need to find and collect.

This location is steeped in darkness, so finding the Dolls hidden around it is rather tricky since it’s oftentimes tough to see what’s going on. You must collect them all if you want to get your hands on those exclusive event prizes, though, so here are all the Cauldron Lake Doll locations in Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event.

Cauldron Lake Doll locations in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

The Cauldron Lake map, which is the redecorated version of Grafton Farmhouse, has three Dolls you can find. There’s one on each floor of this location, and they’re essential for tackling the tricky Doll Puzzles featured in Phasmophobia’s Alan Wake event. Here’s where to find each one.

• The cat doll is sitting on a table against the wall in the dining room on the first floor.
• The mother doll is on a small table in the creepy doll room on the second floor.
• The moose doll is on a table in the attic, which is the third floor of this home.

Cat Doll location in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

The cat Doll is sitting on a table that’s up against the left wall in the dining room. To find this one, head through the front door of the map and continue straight to pass from the entryway into the dining area.

Upon entering this room, look left to spot a long table pressed up against the wall. Among all the clutter on top of it, you’ll spot the cat Doll sitting between two vases and some stacked plates.

Mother Doll location in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

The mother Doll is hanging out with the collection of creepy dolls found in the doll room on the second floor. Head inside the house, then make an immediate right to go upstairs.

Upon reaching the second floor, make a sharp right followed by another right. Walk down to the end of the small hall and turn left to enter the doll room. Inside, walk straight back to the left corner. You’ll find the mother Doll sitting on a small table here next to a bigger doll.

Moose Doll location in Phasmophobia Alan Wake event

The moose Doll is on a table way up in the attic. To find this one, head up the stairs on your right from the entryway, then go right again to find a small hallway. Walk past the door on your right in this hall and up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, turn left and look for the small table that has two candelabras on it, one of which is knocked over. The moose Doll can be found sitting right between them on this table.

You’ve now found a few of the key Dolls you need to complete the first Doll Puzzle, the second Doll Puzzle, and the third Doll Puzzle. There are some other ones that are also required for these trials, though, so be sure to find even more Dolls around other key locations like Elderwood Palace Lodge, Coffee World, and Oh Deer Diner next.

The Royal Highlands update in Palia has made the map bigger, but we can save our time and energy by finding a horse for ourselves. To make matters even better, all of us can have the mount for free.

However, there are a few tasks to complete before we can get our hands on our stallion.

How to unlock your horse in Palia Royal Highlands update

The first task is to reach the Royal Highlands region. If you’re someone new to the game, you should still be able to access the location. However, you’ll come across certain spoilers for content related to the main campaign.

Next, we will need to find Hassian, an NPC, and you’ll find a horse next to him. The horse next to Hassian will be trapped in amber. You’ll have to free it by using your pickaxe, which can be done after starting the Before the Dawn quest.

Next, look for Dawnspur Lilies to feed the horse. You’ll find the flowers in the nearby locations, and they’re easy to find. Once you find three flowers, return to the horse. Hassian will then ask you to ride the new mount. He will claim that the horse appears to be fond of you, and you’ll find out if that’s not the case. Hassian will then return to the camp, leaving you with your mount.

Open the tool menu and choose the saddle icon. You’ll now find the horse added to your list of options. Select the horse, and it will appear as your ride. You move on the horse by using the same controls that you use for your character.

Do note that your horse will have a stamina gauge that will empty when it sprints. Once the bar is depleted, it will move more slowly until the stamina is refilled. To prevent that from happening, move through golden orbs since that will partially restore the lost stamina.

Combined with your ranch, you can also breed your horses and ride them. It’s a really cool mechanic that will save a lot of time during exploration. Since new players can also access Royal Highlands early, you can make your mount a part of your journey.
