Where to find the Blue Velvet Nightclub in The Sims 4

Throughout the Lost Legacies event in The Sims 4, you’ll be asked to visit quite an array of unique locations around the world. You may not be familiar with many of these spots, nor know where to find them, as might be the case with the Blue Velvet Nightclub.

There are plenty of lots to visit, so tracking down any particular one can be tough. Venturing to a few specific spots is crucial for the event, though, so here’s where to find the Blue Velvet Nightclub in The Sims 4.

Blue Velvet Nightclub location in The Sims 4

The Blue Velvet Nightclub can be found in the Crawdad Quarter neighborhood in Willow Creek. It’s one of four buildings situated in a row of community lots near the bottom left corner of the map. This particular lot is right in between the Municipal Muses Museum and the Movers & Shakers Gym. It’s also directly south of Magnolia Blossom Park, the massive 50×50 community lot right in between all of the different neighborhoods you can visit in this world.

Like most lots, this one can be freely edited or replaced with any other type of lot you like. It will always be the Blue Velvet Nightclub by default, but there’s a chance you may have removed it. If you’re working through the event in a save where you’ve gotten rid of the Blue Velvet Nightclub in favor of another sommunity lot or a residential one, you can try to visit whatever lot you placed there instead, but there’s a decent chance it won’t work, leaving you unable to progress in the event.

If this is the case, you can switch over to a clean, fresh save, or any other save you have that does have this lot to check this quest off. It’s generally best to work on events in saves that retain most of the base game lots for both Willow Creek and Oasis Springs, as you typically need to visit quite a few of them in each one.

You’ll be tasked with visiting the Blue Velvet Nightclub a couple of different times throughout the Lost Legacies event as you get closer to learning what the Royal Envoy is up to. Sometimes you’ll simply need to meet her at this spot to catch up or receive new missions from her, while other times you’ll need to ask around and investigate what she’s truly up to to get closer to the truth.

After visiting this spot for the last time, be sure to stick close to the nearby area, as the final event missions all take place right by the Blue Velvet Nightclub. To finish off the last week of quests in the Lost Legacies event, you’ll need to figure out how to surprise the Royal Envoy so you can then make a big final choice in the event, which is to forgive or report the Royal Envoy. Both tasks unfold in the surrounding area just off this lot, so it’s easiest to work through them while your Sim is already there.

Player aiming at other players in Marathon

One of the early contracts in Marathon requires you to scan the FTL Array at any USEC Radio Tower, and the task can be slightly tricky.

This is likely going to be your first contract where the game doesn’t tell you where you need to be. The task is actually rather simple once you know where you need to reach and be. This guide will simplify the process and allow you to get all the applicable rewards.

How to locate the FTL Array in Marathon

The first task is to receive and keep the contract active. As of writing, only a contract can be kept active at any given time. Once done, start a run. Ideally, I am finding it easier to complete contracts with teammates rather than going solo.

You begin on the Perimeter map since it’s part of the contract. Once the run begins, head to the Station location. While there can be more towers located in other parts of the map, the Station POI was the nearest one for me when I was about to complete this contract.

The Station is pretty easy to locate, but the same can’t be said about the FTL Array on the USEC Radio Tower. If you’re close to the tower, you’ll find the quest icon (yellow colored) appearing on your screen. The tower can be found about E 100 on the overhead compass. However, I have marked the exact location on the image below to make it easier for you. The location isn’t random, and you’ll always find the FTL Array at this location.

How to scan the FTL Array in Marathon

Once you’ve located the tower, use one of the attached ladders to climb up. Look for a blue-colored terminal, and it will have an interactable FTL Comms Chip on it. If you’re this close to the tower, you can simply follow the icon as well.

Interact with the FTL Array and complete the scan, and this will complete your contract. Once you end your run, you’ll be able to redeem all the applicable rewards as allotted by the contract.
