How to craft Industrial Explosives in Arknights Endfield

Laevatain, as seen in Arknights Endfield.

Industrial Explosives is one of the most essential items to find in Arknights Endfield, and crafting it will require you to complete certain steps.

The demand for Industrial Explosives is nil when you just begin your adventure. However, its importance will rise the more content you clear in Arknights Endfield. You’ll need it to access areas that would otherwise stay locked. Gaining access to these areas also allows you to reach hidden chests, solve puzzles, and more.

How to unlock Industrial Explosives in Arknights Endfield

There are several steps to complete to unlock the Industrial Explosives recipe.

  • Complete the Paving the Way story quest, which gets you the Basic Expansion Core.
  • Use the Basic Expansion Core to unlock Basic AIC II.
  • Once you unlock Basic AIC II, you’ll be able to complete the Industrial Explosive AIC simulation.

The Industrial Explosive AIC simulation introduces you to the basics of crafting them. The simulation teaches you about every material that you’ll need to make these items on your own. You’ll gain the use of the Packaging Unit at this stage (from research), which is necessary for making Industrial Explosives.

How to make Industrial Explosives in Arknights Endfield

Place the Packaging Unit that you unlocked at a suitable spot on your base. The Packaging Unit, like all other production structures, requires power. You can also automate the process with the correct setup.

  • To craft one Industrial explosive, you’ll require one Aketine Powder and five Amethyst Parts.
  • Process Amethyst Fibers at a Fitting unit to produce Amethyst Fibers. You’ll require Amethyst Ore, which is refined to make the Amethyst Fibers. Processing them at the Refining Unit will get you your Amethyst Part.
  • Aketine Powder is obtained by putting the plants in the Shredding Unit. Check out our detailed guide about how you can get almost infinite Aketine with a simple trick.

Once you’ve all the materials, start the recipe from the Packaging Unit to create as many Industrial Explosives as you want. Having them in your inventory is going to unlock new areas on the map. You can also use these explosives to bring down strong enemies as well.

Players fighting in Highguard

Free-to-play title Highguard is coming soon to PC and consoles, and this guide will help you keep track of the upcoming launch.

There has been plenty of debate and discussions ever since Highguard was revealed at The Game Awards last year. If you’re looking jump in right at launch, then you have come to the right place.

Highguard release countdown

Highguard goes live on PC and consoles on Monday, Jan. 26. The release date has been known since the first reveal, and thankfully, there haven’t been any delays. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live across all global regions.

The countdown is based on the following timings.

  • 10am PT
  • 12pm CT
  • 1pm ET
  • 6pm UTC
  • 7pm CET

The game will be available at the same time across all platforms. If you’re still on old-gen consoles, Highguard won’t be available for you to enjoy. It’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

What to expect from Highguard

Highguard arrives from the makers of Titanfall and Apex Legends, and it’s a PvP raid shooter at its core. Players ride, raid, and fight one another to gain control of a mythical continent. While actual information is pretty sporadic at the time of writing, the key idea is pretty simple.

You’ll battle rival Warden crews to gain possession of the Shieldbreaker. Once done, you can break into and destroy the enemy base to gain victory. Of course, things won’t be easy when your opponents aim to do the same with your base. The fun begins on Monday, and it will be interesting to see if Highguard will manage to make a significant impact in an already-saturated genre.
