The Riven Tides map in ARC Raiders has a couple of puzzles to solve, and you’ll find one of them at the Stacking Yard POI. It involves finding red buttons at the location, which will then allow you to access a spot that otherwise remains locked.
With rewards on offer, let’s find out how to complete this puzzle.

How to find the red buttons on Riven Tides in ARC Raiders
The first step of the puzzle involves finding four red buttons that are located in the Stacking Yard. The buttons and their positions are completely random, and they change based on the raid. I have tested this out; sometimes, the same location might have a button for you to press at one exact spot (across different raids). However, the locations will largely be random.
While there are four buttons required to solve the puzzle, you don’t need to press all of them by yourself. If you’re playing with a teammate, they can also participate in the process. Another player can also press the buttons, and it will count as well. Once the four switches are pressed, it will open a locked door (but more on that later).
To find the buttons, look in and around the numbered buildings in the Stacking Yard compound.
- Look at the building edges on the ground floor. Take the elevators (located at the base of the buildings) and check the areas where the pillars support the main foundations.
- Check out all areas of the cranes.
- Check the staircases leading to the cranes.
- The cranes also have small rooms located on them. Check the insides of these rooms.
Ultimately, if you look hard in areas around the containers in the Stacking Yard, you’ll find the buttons. Once all four buttons are pressed, the next part comes.
How to open the locked door in Stacking Yard in ARC Raiders
You’ll find a fuel cell around the containers. The fuel cell typically appears on the ground, so you’ll need to look down while you’re exploring the area. Once you’ve found the fuel cell, head to the marked location on the image below.
There, you’ll find a broken-down elevator. You’ll need to fix it with Batteries. Once fixed, you’ll need to stand on the elevator with the fuel cell. This is why it’s better to do this with a buddy. As one of you stands on the elevator with the fuel cell, the other person can activate it so that the other person can go upstairs.
You’ll now find a locked door which is open (since the four buttons were pressed). Head inside, and you’ll find a terminal with a fuel cell, which will activate the doors to another locked room. You can then head inside and grab all the loot on offer. That’s how you solve the Stacking Yard puzzle and get yourself some nice freebies.

Far Far West has five different primary weapons to use in the game, and they’re all unique in their own ways. While I will certainly have loved more options, the guns completely change the gameplay, and more so once you learn to master the spells.
But that said, let’s look at which weapons are the more effective ones to use.
Table of contents
Far Far West primary weapons tier list
Since there are five weapon choices, I have just used two tiers. None of the guns are bad, and they progressively get better when you upgrade them.
- S-tier choices are the strongest options to consider. They’re extremely lethal against all types of enemies.
- A-tier choices are quite close to S-tier options. Once you get all the upgrades, they can be considered as S-tier.
Disclaimer: I have yet to unlock the Leveredge, and I will analyze it quickly and add to the tier list below.
S-tier
- Minigun: The Minigun is an absolute nightmare for enemies of all kinds, provided you find the correct spot to fire from. It has a massive ammo capacity, great damage, fast firing rate, and pierces enemies with ease. The only limitation is the speed at which you move with the weapon. Just make sure to position yourself correctly so that enemies can’t hit you from the back.
- Shotgun: Far Far West offers you different build options if you want to play aggro. The Shotgun is ideal for those who want to get as close as possible to the enemies. While the gun’s accuracy isn’t ideal, that becomes redundant once you’re close to the enemies. You can one-shot most types of enemies and clear waves in quick time.
A-tier
- Quad Cylinder: As a starter choice, the Quad Cylinder isn’t bad at all. It’s accurate, shoots fast, and works with different types of builds. My major complaint is the lack of specialization with this gun. Yes, you can make it more focused by upgrading it accordingly, but it just feels like a Jack of all trades.
- Long Ranger: If you know how to manage enemies from a distance, the Long Ranger is the sniper rifle from the gods. It does an unholy amount of damage with each shot and clears the field without any problem. However, it doesn’t suit my preferred playstyle. If you want to play as a Marksman, the Long Ranger is S-tier as well.
There are several sidearms present as well, and they have different playstyles. So far, I haven’t found much use for them. They’re useful when you don’t have primary ammo and are surrounded by enemies, but they all appear to belong on the same levels. Moreover, you’ll be mostly spending time with your primary to kill the enemies.
