How to complete The Jailbreak in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Talk to Lady inside the dog pound
After making it inside the pound at the end of the Canine Courtship quest, you can now chat with Lady inside her kennel. Since you dropped in from a window, you’re now stuck inside, too, so you’ll have to work together to find a way out.
Find a tunnel to explore beyond the kennel
Approach the sparkling wooden barrel behind Lady and interact with it to push it out of the way. Underneath, you’ll find a tunnel you can then interact with to enter a different kennel. Head through the tunnel to see what’s waiting on the other side.
Collect items from the other kennel
Inside the other kennel, there are a few items you can collect to help free Lady. Around this small room, you need to:
- Find the Old Rope, which is located behind a sparkling barrel near the back of the room. Interact with the barrel to push it out of the way, then walk back into the corner it was blocking off to find the Old Rope. Pick it up to add it to your inventory.
- Remove the Coat Hook from the wall, which can be done by equipping and using your Royal Pickaxe on the golden Coat Hook hanging up on the wall, next to some boxes.
- Collect the Coat Hook, which can be done by picking up the golden item you just separated from the wall.
Craft the Old Rope and Coat Hook into a tool to retrieve the kennel key
Now that you have some supplies at your disposal, you can craft them into something that’ll help you get the Kennel Key. Head back through the tunnel to return to Lady’s cell, then walk over to the crafting station right behind her. Switch over to the Functional Items page and select the Improvised Grappling Hook item to make.
Use the Improvised Grappling Hook to grab the Kennel Key
Walk over to the sparkling corner of the kennel, which is located right in between the crafting station you just used and the kennel bars. Interact with this spot to use the Improvised Grappling Hook, tossing it out to reel in the Kennel Key you need.
The key will then drop on the ground in the cell, so you can pick it up. Once you have it, chat with Lady about what to do next. Approach the locked gate at the front of the kennel and use the Kennel Key to open it. Follow Lady over to the exit, stopping to chat with her once along the way before getting out for good.
Search for Tramp behind Tony’s
Outside, a very strange spaghetti and meatball storm has overtaken the town. Lady is worried about Tramp getting caught in it, so you need to find him. Head into the fenced-off area behind Tony’s to search for him. Unfortunately, Tramp isn’t there, so chat with Lady about what to do next.
Leave the Realm to check in with Merlin
Spaghetti and meatball storms are magic beyond your means, so it’s time to consult a professional. Exit the Lady and the Tramp Realm to track down Merlin in the valley. Talk to him about what you can do to fix the situation.
Collect the materials you need to craft a Substitute Snout
Merlin suggests crafting your very own Substitute Snout to sniff out Tramp’s location and whatever item may be the source of the chaos plaguing the Realm. Before you head back into the Lady and the Tramp Realm, you’ll need to obtain:
- Six Raspberries
- Four Blue Falling Penstemon
- Four Purple Falling Penstemon
- 10 Soil
- One Topaz
Once you have the main items you need, head back to the Realm to chat with Lady about getting the last essential resource for it. You can find her standing by the table where she had her date with Tramp.
Collect Saucery Extract to complete your Substitute Snout
The last item you need for your crafting project is Saucery Extract, which is strewn all about the Realm thanks to the strange pasta storm. Explore the Realm to find and recover 12 Saucery Extract. You’re looking for small, sparkling piles of some noodles, sauce, and spice. All of the piles can be found around the main road.
Craft the Substitute Snout
Now that you have everything you need, head to one of the crafting stations in the Realm to craft your Substitute Snout. There’s one back in the alley by the Realm entrance, and another near the table where Lady and Tramp had their date. Switch to the Functional Items page to find and make this item, then add it to your character’s outfit. Once it’s on, chat with Lady nearby about what comes next.
Follow the scent trail to find Tramp
Thanks to your trusty new nose, you can now follow Tramp’s scent trail around the Realm to find him. Look for the purple smoke clouds that appear every few seconds and follow them until you reach Tramp. He’s stuck behind a bunch of meatballs, so meet up with Lady again to figure out how you can help him.
Use your shovel to reach Tramp
Lady can’t dig through the meatballs, but luckily, you have just the tool to get the job done. Equip your Royal Shovel and use it to dig up each of the meatballs surrounding Tramp. Chat with Tramp once you make it through to proceed.
As soon as you free Tramp, The Jailbreak quest will be complete. The Meatballs mission then immediately begins, which is the next step you need to take on the journey to unlocking Lady and Tramp.

Ready to toe the line between good and evil? Warlocks are invading Diablo for its 30th anniversary, beginning today, and leading to BlizzCon later this year.
As part of today’s 30th anniversary spotlight, Blizzard revealed that Diablo 2: Reign of the Warlock is a new expansion for Diablo 2: Resurrected, and it’s available right now. But it doesn’t end there, because the Warlock class is also coming to Diablo Immortal later this year. And of course, it will be the second new class in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred in April, joining the already-available Paladin.
The update for the Diablo 2 remaster is packed with quality of life updates, as is Immortal’s (coming in June), but Diablo 4’s big upcoming expansion is where the bulk of the eyes are. And Blizzard says the new DLC has been built on what it’s learned over the past few years since D4 launched, including the new class.
Diablo 4’s Warlock is “fully unleashed,” with powers of metal chains and flames, and Blizzard called it “a heavy metal album come to life” during the stream. The dev team will deep dive on the new class on March 5, detailing its abilities, powers, and gear.
Lord of Hatred’s new zone, Skovos (the birthplace of humanity), was revealed during the stream, and it’s heavily inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, featuring “more monster variety than ever,” and a big change from the last DLC’s swampy region.
Blizzard also said Lord of Hatred’s system updates will change the game, including a “completely overhauled, massively expanded” skill tree, offering more customization from the beginning. They said that “meaningful choices,” including customization options are coming, and they’re coming to all classes regardless of whether players own the DLC or not.
Other changes coming to Lord of Hatred are loot filters, a new Talisman system, and more to be revealed. Needless to say, it sounds like the Diablo team is cooking up some fun stuff for the franchise’s big birthday this year.
You can check out the full showcase on YouTube above, including all of the details about Reign of the Warlock, Diablo 2: Resurrected’s new DLC.
