The Division 2 Y8S1 Rise Up Week 5 Manhunt: Scout 5 solutions

The Division 2 fighting scene

The Division 2 Y8S1 Rise Up Week 5 Manhunt missions are now live. Compared to the previous weeks, the tasks are relatively simple and easy to complete. However, you’ll once again need to decode three cryptic clues to figure out the missions.

This guide will help you complete all three Scout 5 missions.

The Division 2 Y8S1 Rise Up Scout 5 solutions

Here are the tasks that you’ll need to complete in Week 5 of Year 8 Season 1.

  • Complete 3 Hostile Living World Activities.
  • Capture 3 Control Points.
  • Complete 2 Friendly Living World Activities.

Complete 3 Hostile Living World Activities

The Living World represents the open world of The Division 2, where NPCs are always doing something on their own. For this task, you need to complete any three activities that are marked in red on the map. The exact events will be random, but you can choose them based on your preferences.

Here’s a list of tasks that are considered hostile Living World activities.

  • Public Execution
  • Propaganda Broadcast
  • Resource Convoy
  • Territory Control

I would focus on either Propaganda Broadcast or Resource Convoy since they take the least amount of time.

Capture 3 Control Points

For the second task, you need to take charge of Control Points. Once you find a captured Control Point, head to the area. Call in your allies to help your cause and eliminate every enemy you can find. A second wave of enemies will appear to challenge your attempt at capturing the Control Point.

You can complete the live activity in any difficulty, but facing a harder challenge will fetch you better rewards. For Week 5, there’s no restriction on the regions; all DC districts qualify for the objective.

Complete 2 Friendly Living World Activities

The third task is pretty similar to the first one. However, we are completing friendly activities that take place all over the map. Here’s the list of tasks that can be considered as friendly Living World activities.

  • Hostage Rescue
  • Target Practice
  • Supply Drop

Target Practice is the easiest one to complete and takes the least amount of time. However, I find it extremely boring, so a good alternative is Hostage Rescue. You’ll also want to first capture over three Control Points for these activities to appear.

Pilgrim's Peak tower in ARC Raiders

The Crash Mat is a unique consumable that has been added to ARC Raiders as part of the Riven Tides update, and having the blueprint will allow you to craft the item. At its core, the Crash Mat nullifies a massive amount of fall damage if you manage to land on it by any means.

But first, let’s find out a few potential locations for the blueprint.

ARC Raiders Crash Mat blueprint location

Like every other blueprint, there’s no fixed location to find the Crash Mat. It will boil down to your luck. The item’s blueprint can spawn on any map condition. I have stuck to the Riven Tides map since the update, and it’s where I also found the blueprint.

I found mine in a random container at the beach near Hotel Panorama Azzurro. It was an ordinary container, and I had spawned in the map quite early. If you’re unlucky, you can try looking into the rooms of the hotel itself. It’s a great spot to find trinkets, which also includes the miniature ships.

You can also use the Dockmaster’s Detector during the Beachcombing minor map condition to find containers that would otherwise remain hidden. These containers can also contain the blueprint. However, the Beachcombing condition isn’t mandatory to find the blueprint; it just theoretically raises the odds of your success.

How to craft the Crash Mat in ARC Raiders

Once you have the blueprint, you can start crafting the Crash Mat with the following resources.

  • One Electrical Components: You can craft it with raw materials or find it as random loot.
  • One Durable Cloth: You can craft it from the basic cloth.

To craft the Crash Mat, you’ll also need a Tier 2 Utility Workbench. To use the item, you have to aim it at the ground. Once thrown, it will create an airbag on the ground. When you fall on the item, it will absorb all the fall damage. When used strategically, it will allow you to get out of tight situations.
