Should you choose Team Foundation or Team Ice King in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 2?
When prompted to choose between Team Foundation and Team Ice King, you should join whichever team you like the final bonus Outfit for better in Fortnite. This is the only real consequential difference between the two, and even this is a bit out of your hands.
At the end of the season, whichever team has more points will unlock the bonus Outfit for their associated leader. This skin will be granted to all players, regardless of which team you’re on, so even if you are on the losing side, you’ll end up with the skin of the opposing team’s leader.
When making this decision, you should choose the style you like more between the Frost-Ready Foundation and the Exalted Frost Ice King looks. Both outfits can be viewed on the Showdown page when making this choice. These looks are essentially just simple white outfit recolors for them.
The tough part of this choice is that the winning look is ultimately going to be decided by the community at large, so it’s only partially in your hands. You can do your best to contribute points to your team, but in the end, it’s really going to depend on the overall point pool to decide which look is unlocked.
Outside of playing a role in determining which look wins, the emote you send out when thanking the player who is driving the battle bus also looks different. If you’re with The Foundation, it’s his helmet, while Team Ice King members show off his hooded face. Beyond this, though, there are no other differences.
As Milestones are hit throughout the season, all members of each team will receive some special rewards. The reward track is the same for all players regardless of which team you choose, so as long as you do pick a side, you’ll get some freebies as this battle progresses.
Is Team Foundation or Team Ice King better in Fortnite?
Both Team Foundation and Team Ice King are equally good, and which one is better simply comes down to which bonus look you prefer. The Foundation and Ice King both have quite a few different looks available through the battle pass, so there’s not one that deserves more styles more than the other, as they’re on equal footing.
If you play during the first week of this season, you do get one extra style for The Foundation. With this factor taken into consideration, you may consider leaning more toward the Ice King when choosing your team if you care about this. If The Foundation wins, he’ll have one more style than the Ice King, whereas if the Ice King wins, they’ll remain equal with the same number of looks to choose from.
Can you get both the Frost-Ready Foundation and the Exalted Frost Ice King Outfits in Fortnite?
Only one of the two bonus styles will be chosen between the two, so you cannot get both the Frost-Ready Foundation and the Exalted Frost Ice King Outfits. You will be rewarded with the look that belongs to the team that scores the most points at the end of the season. Whichever one isn’t chosen will either be scrapped or perhaps available as an item shop asset that costs V-Bucks in the future.
How to contribute points to Team Foundation and Team Ice King in Fortnite
You can contribute points to your chosen team by winning Rivalries. This is the only task that applies to this challenge, so you’ll want to engage with lots of these mini battles if you want to have a say in which style ends up being chosen.
Can you change your team in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 2?
You cannot change your chosen team between Team Foundation and Team Ice King. Once you make a choice, it’s locked in for the full season, so make sure you don’t join one until you’re sure that’s the group you want to stick with.
There’s plenty to uncover around the island as you work on securing points for your newly chosen team. If you’re unsure where to begin, consider reviewing all weapons and loot in Chapter Seven, season two, and visiting Zero Point Shards for The Foundation.

Crimson Desert has no shortage of activities to engage yourself in, and fishing can be one of the most lucrative ones at that. While it doesn’t take too long for you to unlock the ability to fish, this guide will still help you out with all the steps.
To fish in Crimson Desert, you’ll need a rod. You can also get better rods once you spend more hours on your adventure. But first, let’s look at the basics, which start with obtaining your first fishing rod.
How to get a fishing rod in Crimson Desert
Once you’ve cleared the first few pieces of content that basically act as an extended tutorial, you need to find a fishing village. Fishing villages are shown as boats on the map. If you’re wondering how the villages look on the map, refer to the image below. You can find several of them spread all around the map.
You’ll find a fishing vendor at a fishing village. You can obtain a fishing rod from them. Once you have your first rod, you can start to fish. Do note that not all fishing vendors might be selling the rod. If you don’t find it at one vendor, try out another, and you should come across the rod.
How to fish in Crimson Desert
This is the easier part. Once you’ve found your rod, head to a water body. Make sure that your fishing rod is equipped. Next, you have to cast the line. Be careful not to cast it over any debris. Wait for a few seconds for a fish to catch the lure.
Typically, you’ll hear three splashes before the fish bites the lure. Once it bites, press the hook button to catch the fish. But first, you’ll have to tire out the fish. If the fish goes left, use the LS button to move the rod right. If it’s moving right, then use the LS button to take your rod to the left. Then, press the reel-in button to catch the fish. Only try to reel in the fish after it has tired out.
You can also get better rods like the Fine Fishing Rod from the Greymane camp, which an NPC sells. Having better rods will allow you to get better catches, and some of them will be a great way to earn money.
