A clash of the Hollywood titans is reportedly lining up to become the home for the recently announced Battlefield film adaptation starring Michael B. Jordan.
Warner Bros. Discovery, Amazon MGM Studios, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, and even Netflix have all submitted a bid to help produce the movie, according to a report by The Wrap. That bodes pretty well for its chances of finding a big audience, I’d say.
Listen, I love me some Michael B., but Battlefield being made into a movie has me scratching my head. I feel similarly about this adaptation as I do Call of Duty. They’re military FPS games that flourish when it comes to gameplay, and occasionally storylines worth tuning in for.
What gives me a air amount of hope, though, is that alongside Jordan is Christopher McQuarrie, who’s been tabbed to write, direct, and produce the movie wherever it lands. If you don’t know McQuarrie by name, you know his pedigree: movies like the last four Mission: Impossible films, and writer and producer on Top Gun: Maverick.
There won’t be Tom Cruise this time for McQuarrie to work with (at least not yet), but Jordan is basically the biggest thing in Hollywood right now after his Oscar-winning performance in 2025’s excellent Sinners. I’d imagine it’s this combo of director and actor that’s been pitched to the studios, and that’s why they’re all lining up.
As far as game adaptations go, Battlefield seems pretty ripe for original storytelling. It’s going to be quite fun to see what McQuarrie can come up with, along with who else fills out the cast alongside Jordan as this movie continues to be worked up behind the scenes.
A lot about the movie is up in the air at the moment, but one thing is clear: it’s going to be pricy. Jordan is likely demanding quite a payday to star in the film, which he’s currently only confirmed to produce, and McQuarrie won’t come cheap either.

The Totenreich map in Black Ops 7 Zombies has a new musical easter egg for you to solve, and the process involves finding three Mister Peeks Headphones. The three headphones, as is the norm, are spread all around the map.
This guide will help you figure out all three locations so that you can unlock the song at the earliest.

All Mister Peeks Headphone locations in Black Ops 7 Zombies
You can find the following headphones in any order you like. There’s no fixed way to find them. To activate the song, you’ll need to find and interact with all three of them.
Dry Dock
You’ll find a massive boat in the Dry Dock location, situated right at the center. Drop down to the ground, and head to the right of the boat. Reach approximately the middle of the boat on the ground, and the headphones will be located in a box on top of the crates.
Core Foundry
The second one can be found in the room opposite the Double Tap Root Beer machine in Core Foundry. Head inside (from the side of the Root Beer machine), and then turn right. There’s a bunch of old machinery located near the wall, and the headphones are located among them (look down by crouching, and you’ll find your headphones).
Loven’s Antiquities
The third one is located near where you spawn on the map. Head inside from the main door of the building, and look past the desk. There are a bunch of plates in the cupboard, and the headphones are in the bottom shelf.
Once all three headphones have been found, it will activate the No One There track, composed by Kevin Sherwood and Vicky Psarakis.
