PlayStation 4 just refuses to give up, as yet another Call of Duty game is to be released on the platform, a leaker claims. Sony’s best-selling console, alongside Microsoft’s Xbox One, keeps chugging along somehow, especially since Activision seems reluctant to abandon the last generation.
This is according to leaker Alaix, who has previously revealed a lot of Call of Duty’s unreleased content, such as Vanguard‘s map pool and Black Ops‘ skin collaborations. He said that this upcoming Call of Duty game, which he believes is going to be Modern Warfare 4, is “currently being playtested on PS4,” meaning that Activision is at least trying to release the title on Sony’s last-gen console. Most modern CoD games came out on platforms across the board, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Activision release another one over there, too.
What is concerning to me here is that the Modern Warfare franchise—the rebooted one—has been making some awesome improvements to the graphics and engine of Call of Duty, the advancement of which could be significantly scaled back to accommodate older consoles. I know this is a tired argument by now, but the PS4 came out so long ago that concessions need to be made, significant ones at that, to make any modern game run on it well.
I don’t even see how that’ll work, essentially, without making the entire game objectively worse for everyone. CDPR realized this and decided to simply move on from last-gen, disallowing PS4 owners from installing the 2.0 update or the Phantom Liberty expansion pack on their version of the game. It was simply too limited to handle any significant advancements that’d essentially render it unplayable on the console if they were to be included.
So, if CoD is ever going to progress as a series (which is starting to look less likely as time goes by), perhaps Activision should finally pull the trigger on last-gen consoles. I am aware this’d probably leave millions of potential customers in some regions of the world out of luck, but CoD is getting enough flak for being “the same” every year that it’s really starting to show.

Far Far West has a really unique music easter egg to solve as you get to unlock an exclusive song, but to do so, you’ll need to find Music Disc Fragments on the Desert map. Since this map is unlocked from the start, you can start looking for the fragments as early as you want.
Let’s find out where you can locate all the fragments to unlock the song.
All Music Disc Fragment locations in Far Far West
You’ll come across three fragments spread across the Desert map. There’s no fixed order to find them, which makes things easier. You can also collect them across multiple runs. The image below has the locations of all three disc fragments. Thankfully, their locations are always predetermined, making things much more convenient.
- The first one is located in the middle of the Desert map, and you’ll find it on an open mountain. The mountain is in an oasis surrounded by trees. Since the fragment is in the open, you should be able to notice it easily as long as you’re at the spot marked as “1” in the image above.
- The second one is preset at the top of the pyramids in the northeastern region of the map. Head inside from the northern side entrance to get the fragment.
- Located on the eastern side of the map, you’ll find a wooden tower. Take the ladder to reach the top, and you’ll find the fragment there.
While some collectibles remain hidden from the open, the fragments are easy to locate. Once you finish all three, you’ll unlock the Train Rush track. You’ll find it in the store near the Weapons Vendor and play it from over there.
