KAIZEN Clan Tier List – Best Clans [HAKARI]

all kaizen clans ranked

Updated on March 15, 2026: Added the Hakari clan.

The best clans in Kaizen depend on whether you’re making a build for PVP or PVE. That’s why I made two tier lists below and you can use the S-Tier options as your best bets and A-Tiers as alternatives. Here’s my Kaizen Clan tier list and guide for both PVP and PVE.

Kaizen Clan Tier List – PVP & PVE

The best clan in Kaizen depends on if you’re going for a PVP or PVE build. In general, Sukuna, Kashimo and Mahito offer the best damage with their buffs that’s suitable for PVE. On the other hand for PVP, Gojo has a really strong defensive ability and Uraume and Itadori have really powerful passive abilities that don’t suffer from PVP-punishable animation end lag that Mythics do. Speaking of Mythics, the transformations are all on a set timer. Let’s dive into each clan below and analyze its stat bonuses, abilities and why they’re ranked the way they are.

Best PVE Clan: Sukuna & Kashimo

Best PVP Clan: Gojo/Hakari, Uraume/Itadori

Combo With: KAIZEN Cursed Technique Tier List & Weapons/Style Tier List

S-Tier Clans

S-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kashimo
Mythic
• Overall Kashimo is only the top 2 Clan in the game if you’re using MBA for the skill damage buffs
• If you’re not using MBA use Sukuna/Mahito for PVE or Gojo/Uraume/Itadori for PVP
• That said, Sukuna is still about as equal or better for the general damage buff for PVE
• As for PVP, Kashimo suffers the same problem with the other transformations where you can get punished on animation lag
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Cursed Energy
+9 Stamina
+13 Defense
+6 Weapon
+4% CE Damage
+3.5% Health
+7.5% Max CE

• Clan Ability: Mythical Beast Transformation
Activate to get:
+Increased damage on Mythical Beast Amber
+A movement speed boost
+%Chance to apply Shock on attacks

Sukuna
Mythic
• The strongest PVE Clan in the game for DPS
• The Sukuna Mark is amazing both by itself and for giving a chunky damage boost for King of Curses CT
• That said, be careful when using it in PVP due to the endlag because you can get punished easily
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+12 Cursed Energy
+13 Stamina
+13 Defense
+9% Cursed Energy Damage
+13% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Sukuna Mark (Cost 500 CE)
Activate to get:
+1.15x Damage
+20% Movement Speed
+30 Defence
+1 Dismantle Slash
+Dash Range of Cleave Grab Increased

Mahito
Mythic
• Similar to Sukuna in power and is really tanky with all the Defense boosts in base and ability
• The clan ability is great for PVP and really strong for PVE thanks to the extra defenses
• But like Sukuna the endlag on the animation can be punished by experienced players
• Better than Gojo for PVE but about equal for PVP
• Stat Bonuses
+8 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+13 Stamina
+17 Defense
+6% Cursed Energy DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy
+5% Walk Speed

• Clan Ability: Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing
Activate to get:
+20 Stamina
+20 Defense
+12.5% Melee DMG
+5% Weapon DMG
+12.5% Cursed Energy DMG
+5% Speed

Hakari
Mythic
• Even without the active coin flip the dodge chance is really powerful in both PVE and PVP
• The stats are also good for a CE build
• As for the coin flip the rewards outweigh the negatives since you can deal massive damage or dodge even more
• That said it would suck getting stunned in a PVP much
• Overall really good for both PVP and PVE
• Stat Bonuses
+9% Dodge Chance
+8 Melee
+9 Cursed Energy
+15 Stamina
+18 Defense
+5% Cursed Energy Damage
+9% Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Lucky Flip
Activate to get:
Flip a coin to get a random buff or debuff
Lasts 50 seconds/1 minute CD/250 CE Cost
Possible buffs:
• Increased Curse Energy by 1.3x
• Increased Dodge Chance by 20%
• Increased Health 1.25x
• Increased Damage by 1.3x
Possible debuffs:
• Reduced Speed by 0.7x
• Stunned for 5 Seconds

Gojo
Mythic
• Best used for PVP and worse than Mahito and Sukuna for PVE
• That said Infinity is one of the best PVP Clans due to Limitless since it’s amazing PVP defense
• It does drain CE though so make sure to invest into energy and it works best against M1 heavy builds
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+15 Curse Energy
+10 Stamina
+10 Defense
+7 Curse Energy Damage
+20% Max Curse Energy

• Clan Ability: Infinity
Activate to get:
Invisible barrier around you slowing down all nearby movement and hindering attacks.
Using it gradually consumes CE while active.

A-Tier Clans

A-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kamo
Mythic
• Kamo is lower than other Mythics simply because it buffs an A-Tier CT instead of an S-Tier CT
• It’s still pretty great for PVE while for PVP you have the problem of animation end-lag that can be punished
• Still, Flowing Red Scales speed works really well in PVP if you don’t get punished for activating it due to the speed boost and heal
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+9 Stamina
+13 Defense
+7 Weapon
+3.75% Cursed Energy DMG
+3.75% Health
+8% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Flowing Red Scales
Activate to get:
+50% speed
+7.5% attack speed
+30% dmg
Resets the ability bar and heals 50% HP when an enemy is killed
Slicing Storm (Blood Manipulation) shoots an extra projectile

Itadori
Legendary
• Essentally you have a 1 in 10 chance to crit which is strong for both PVP and PVE
• Slightly better for PVP when compared to Mythics since there’s no endlag or animation and the Black Flash is just a passive effect
• Much better than Todo by far
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+5 Cursed Energy
+5% Melee DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Black Flash

Uraume
Legendary
• Similar to Itadori where you want that 1 in 10 chance to freeze stun instead of dealing extra damage
• Freezing is incredibly good in PVP for combos
• Still, the passive is really strong and unpunishable unlike the start-up animations for the active buffs that Mythic clans have
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+5 Defense
+5% Cursed Technique DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Freeze

B-Tier Clans

B-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Todo
Legendary
• Much stronger than Inumaki and other Epics but much weaker than other Legendaries and above
• It’s just raw stats that are pretty great for beginners but you want the abilities of higher-tier clans for PVP and PVE
• Stat Bonuses
+15 Melee
+10 Stamina
+10 Defense
+10% Melee DMG
+10% Max Stamina
+10% Max Cursed Energy

Inumaki
Epic
• Inumaki is the best Epic because it buffs a CT for easier hits in PVP
• That said it’s not worth it over other Clans and might as well be ranked C-Tier or lower with the other Epics
• I just wanted to pronounce that it gives both better stat buffs and an ability making it better than other Epics
• Stat Bonuses
+6 Cursed Energy
+6 Weapon
+5 Defense
+5% Melee DMG
+10% Cursed Energy DMG

• Clan Ability: +10% Cursed Speech Hitbox

C-Tier Clans

C-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kugisaki
Epic
• Weak stat boosts but better than Rares
• Kugisaki is a great beginner clan though if you don’t have many spins
• Stat Bonuses
+5 Cursed Energy
+6 Weapon
+5 Defense
+5% Weapon DMG
+5% Cursed Energy DMG

Uro
Epic
• Kugisaki but you get movement instead of defense
• The increases are minor either way so reroll this when you can
• Stat Bonuses
+5 Stamina
+5 Weapon
+3 Melee
+5% Walk Speed
+5% Stamina Regen

D-Tier Clans

These are just weaker stat boosts than Epics. Keep them if you’re a beginner and don’t have more spins. Otherwise always reroll rares and commons. That’s it for my Kaizen Clan tier list and guide. Characters in The Seven Deadly Sins Origin

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin is now out on PC and PS5, with a mobile launch coming soon, and you get to choose from a host of different characters.

The character has been adapted directly from the manga that also inspired an anime. Every character has its unique pros and cons, but some are better than the rest.

Disclaimer: Large parts of this tier list are based on the closed beta. It’s a good starting point, but I will update the tiers as I play and test more characters.

Complete The Seven Deadly Sins Origin character tier list

Characters in The Seven Deadly Sins Origin belong to different rarities, but not all rare names are better. Moreover, the kit you equip will also determine how the characters work and what roles they play. However, I have assessed the characters based on their best kit.

S-tier

S-tier characters are simply the strongest ones in the entire game. They will be the characters you should ideally reroll for, and they will work well with most weapons.

  • Meliodas: He is pretty much the best healing support you can find among all characters. You can either go for the Dual Sword or the single one. The fact that you can have one HP bar for the whole team allows you to heal all your allies.
  • Jericho: Jericho is pretty much the strongest DPS unit in the entire game. She can also inflict Freeze with her Special Attack when you’re using the Dual Sword kit. Her Frozen Saber ability allows you to teleport her behind the enemy to deal extra damage, and also increases the Burst Gauge. She’s also one of the best universal characters to get.
  • Diane: Diane, in some teams, can be slightly better than Jericho (but Jericho is far more universal). Diane is a different type of DPS as she can also create her own sustains. She can gain a shield from her passive, and she can also heal herself with burst damage. Her Axe kit also allows you to inflict stuns, which is great for crowd control.

A-tier

The A-tier characters are pretty strong in their own right, but slightly fall short compared to the S-tier choices.

  • King: With his Staff kit, King can attack as an amazing support. He clearly becomes S-tier if you’re using him with Diane (due to the Earth-based synergy). His ability to inflict Bloom on allies raises their damage potential. If you opt for the Book kit, King becomes a defensive support who provides barriers for other allies.
  • Elaine: Unlike King, Elaine is a pure defensive support who offers massive shields and damage reductions with her moves. She can also neutralize the enemy’s burst resistance. This allows your units to enter the burst states quicker, which is great for DPS characters like Jericho. However, she’s also a great partner with Diane due to their Earth affiliation.
  • Manny: If you’re running a burst-focused team, Manny becomes an S-tier pick. She inflicts Punishment on enemies. Those enemies will then take Critical Hit as Punishment is active, and it also inflicts additional Holy damage. She can also buff the Crit Damage of her allies and reduce the Element Defense of enemies.
  • Howzer: If you’re a free-to-play player, Howzer is a pretty good choice. He can inflict Bleed with his attacks, which raises the damage dealt to enemies (while nerfing the healing rate). You have to combine it with his special attack that helps Howzer gain Gust. He is a relatively simple character to master, but he might lose his relevance once we get more names in the future.

B-tier

B-tier choices are average at best, so I have briefly explained what they do and what you can expect of them. In simple words, try to replace them with better options listed above unless you’re a fan.

  • Guila: She can deal damage via Fire Burst when she is in her Demon Form. You’ll need to use her Demon Form carefully since it also allows her to reduce her skill cooldown by 50% by landing Critical Hits.
  • Drake: He does lightning damage to enemies, and he can also increase his Burst Duration with Lightning Burst. However, the lack of synergy for the Lightning element continues until the full launch.
  • Slader: While he can deal Fire/Physical damage to enemies, his overall potential is pretty limited. His base damage is pretty low, which makes him unideal as a DPS until you build him up.
  • Hendrickson: Hendrickson is useful as long as you have Meliodas in your team, as he can improve Meli’s damage potential. If you don’t have Meliodas, Hendrickson is a C-tier.
  • Tristan: He is an okay character, as everyone gets him for free. His kit is pretty basic, but it can deal a decent amount of Fire Damage. Outside that, there’s not much to write home about him.

C-tier

These are extremely weak characters, and you should look to replace them as soon as possible.

  • Bug
  • Dreydrin
  • Dreyfus
  • Gilthunder
  • Griamore
  • Tioreh
