The Valley Reboot quest in Arknights Endfield requires you to place Relay Towers at strategic positions to set up your factory, and you’ll need to provide power to get them up and running.

When you’ve just started to play the game, most of the fundamental concepts will be explained via the tutorial. While it’s easy to set up Relay Towers, the process can be slightly confusing. This guide will lay out all the necessary steps to keep in mind when it comes to powering up the towers and finishing the Valley Reboot quest.

How to transmit power in Arknights Endfield

First, clear the tutorial and the initial set of quests till you reach Talos-II. Next, finish the Break the Siege quest to destroy the Ankhor at the AIC Research Center after fighting enemies at the Hub Base Power Plant. Once the PAC lands, the objective “Transmit Power to the Protocol Resonance Tower” begins.

To complete the objective, you’ll need to place Power Relays and then connect them using cables.

• Place the Power Relay Tower inside the radius of the PAC Automation Core. This part is necessary.
• Press F to begin the transmission, and go to the quest marker while dragging the cable.
• You’ll find the outline of another tower; build the second Power Relay Tower at this point.
• Press F to attach the transmission cable, which powers up the second tower.

• Once connected, press F again to begin the transmission. Keep following the quest marker while having thecable in your hand.
• Again, you’ll find the outline of a relay tower. Press 1, build the tower, and connect it with the cable.
• Press F one task time to grab the cable and connect it to the Protocol Resonance Tower.

Hence, you’ll need to set up two extra Power Relay Towers and connect all three before taking the wire to the Protocol Resonance Tower. You can easily reposition a Relay Tower if you accidentally place it at the wrong position.

What happens if you embrace the Rot in Cult of the Lamb

To reach the point where you have to decide, you’ll need to clear most of the Woolhaven content. Once you return Sariel’s spirit to Woolhaven, you’ll have completed filling all the graves around Yngya. The first choice is to embrace the Rot.

If you choose to go for this outcome, you’ll gain Faith daily if there’s a Rotten Follower in your cult. Rotten followers are similar to normal ones, but they survive for longer periods. The number of Rotten followers you have doesn’t matter; having one is sufficient.

What happens if you purge the Rot in Cult of the Lamb

If you choose to go with this outcome, you’ll gain Faith whenever a Rotten follower gets killed.

There’s no wrong decision, and you can continue your playthrough irrespective of whether you embrace or purge the Rot. However, I personally went with embracing it for two simple reasons.

• Rotten followers don’t consume any resources, which is extremely useful. If they die, you get Rotburn, which is immensely helpful to keep your base warm during the winters.
• Rotten followers are a core part of the new Woolhaven DLC. Lore-wise, keeping them alive made sense to me. Garnering sufficient Faith at the endgame stage has never been an issue, either in the base version or in the expansion.
