The Winter Floating Festival has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, unlocking a festive winter wonderland you can visit through a special portal in the Plaza. This event has lots of tasks to tackle, including the Chocolate Fountain puzzle.
The entire event is focused on working through tricky puzzles hidden around the island. Each one is unique and can be tough to solve on your own, so here’s how to solve The Winter Floating Festival Chocolate Fountain puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Chocolate Fountain puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Chocolate Fountain puzzle in The Winter Floating Festival event, you need to repair the fountain by placing a specific combination of items inside it. There’s a yellow book on the island that tells you exactly what to place inside, but it’s not near the fountain, so there’s a good chance you may be confused about how to tackle it.
What to put in Chocolate Fountain in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Chocolate Fountain can be repaired by placing a certain amount of each Festive Hot Cocoa recipe inside it. All three recipes call for lots of Festive Cocoa Beans and other ingredients, so you’ll need to stock up on quite a lot of them to tackle this puzzle.
Chocolate Fountain puzzle solution Disney Dreamlight Valley
The solution to the Chocolate Fountain puzzle can be found inside a glowing yellow book sitting on a hot cocoa stand close to the red bar by the fire pit. The correct amount of each Hot Cocoa to put in the fountain is:
- 15 Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
- 10 Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
- 20 Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
Because of how much Festive Hot Cocoa you need to cook up for this task, there’s a good chance you’ll be working on this quest over the course of a few days. You can tackle the event puzzles in any order you like, so there’s plenty of time to slowly gather everything you need for this one.
Chocolate Fountain puzzle reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
For repairing the Chocolate Fountain, you get to claim your own Winter Chocolate Fountain as a reward. It looks the same as the repaired version on the island, which means it’s a golden fountain with chocolate pouring out of it instead of water. There’s nothing else quite like this item, and it’s exclusive to the event, so it’s certainly worth unlocking.
Festive Hot Cocoa is also needed to feed the massive Festive Rabbit hopping around the island, so you’ll be cooking quite a lot of it to finish this task. There’s plenty more to get done after completing this task, so if you’re seeking some additional event festivities to enjoy, you may want to tackle the Pillar puzzle next.

The first major Fortnite update for the new year is coming soon in the form of v39.20, and there’s plenty of new content in store.
Earlier this year, Epic Games revealed the annual update roadmap for Fortnite. Hence, we have known the release date since, but this countdown will help you stay in touch with the upcoming update.
Fortnite v39.20 update countdown
The Fortnite v39.20 update goes live globally on Friday, Jan. 9, across all platforms. There’s little chance for a delay, and the following countdown will expire once the update goes live.
[hurrytimer id=”1162657″]
The countdown is based on the following timings.
- 1am PT
- 3am CT
- 4am ET
- 9am UTC
- 10am CET
This is the usual schedule that Epic has been following for all major updates in the last few months. However, it’s worth noting that the time when the servers go live will differ across regions. There will be a prior maintenance as well, when Fortnite and all its modes will be completely unavailable.
What to expect from Fortnite v39.20 update
The first update of the new year is themed around South Park, and here are a few highlights to look out for.
- South Park themed skins
- South Park Mini Battle Pass
- OG Chapter 1 Season 7 Super Styles
- Chapter 1 Battle Pass Super Styles
- Blitz mode and map update
- Reload update
- Reload loot pool update
- Plenty of new cosmetics
- New jam tracks
- New emotes, available in the shop and pass.
- New weapons
- Unvaulted weapons
It will be interesting to find out how the South Park-inspired cosmetics appear in-game. There will be skins based on all major characters, including Stan, Kyle, and Kenny. The pass will be great for those who are looking to add a bunch of cosmetics to their collection.
I am also expecting certain quests themed around the South Park collab, along with new NPCs that will be on the map. For now, all we have to do is wait for the update to go live on Friday.
