Managing bills is one of the most important tasks in My Winter Car, and it will help you to complete the Corris Rivett build quicker.
The secret behind completing your project car lies in earning as much cash as possible. However, you’ll also have additional expenses in the form of bills. Bills mainly accrue due to the electricity that you use and the phone calls that you make.
This guide will help you reduce your expenses as much as possible.

How to reduce and manage phone bills in My Winter Car
The phone bills rise whenever you make a call to a fellow NPC. It also increases if you’re making orders from the Classifields magazine. Most of the calls you make will be for important reasons. However, you can slightly reduce the bill by only making calls when you absolutely have to.
If you fail to clear your phone bills, the telephone will stop working. You’ll only hear the beep, but the call will fail to connect. If you’re doing jobs like driving a taxi, having a functional phone is a must.
How to reduce and manage electricity bills in My Winter Car
Not having power at your house isn’t funny. This will happen if you don’t clear your electricity bills. If you’re not careful, your electricity bills can be high. Here’s how you can reduce the bills.
- Turn off the lights in rooms where you’re not present.
- The heater should be the only one on in the room where you’re present. Turn off the heaters in the other rooms.
- Changing the radiators in your own house will also make the heaters more efficient. A more efficient heater means that it warms your rooms quicker, and reduces energy consumption.
As of writing, some of the lights in hallways continue to stay on after you turn them off. This is likely a bug that should be fixed in future updates. Always remember to turn off devices in general to keep your electricity bill to a minimum.

The septic pumping job is something you can undertake in My Winter Car if you’re short of cash, and it will allow you to drive an extra vehicle that’s otherwise not possible.
The job of pumping the septic tank can be unlocked after a phone call that will ask you for a favor. This appears to be the only job from which you can’t get fired (so no performance pressure at all). This guide will elaborate on all the steps to complete if you want to excel at cleaning someone else’s bathroom.

How to start the septic pumping job in My Winter Car
To begin the job, you’ll have to wait for a phone call that will inform you that their sewage well is full. Answer the call and wait for the NPC to disconnect it from their end. Don’t disconnect it prematurely; otherwise, the quest won’t begin. Once the dialogue completes and you accept the job, a new location marker will pop up, indicating where you have to be.
Your main task is to drive the Gifu to this location. The Gifu is a special tanker that will allow you to clear the sewage.

Once you’ve reached the marked location with the Gifu, you’ll find a septic tank (grey-colored and has a square lid). Remove the lid carefully after parking the Gifu close to the septic tank. Remove the hose from the back of the tanker and place it inside the septic tank.
Go to the cabin of the Gifu and turn on the hydraulics. You’ll also find a hand throttle. If your character starts coughing at the stench, it means that you’ve started the work successfully. Once the job is over, you’ll be informed by the homeowner, who will congratulate you.
Take the money, remove the hose from the septic tank, and place the hose end at the back of the Gifu. If it accidentally falls inside the tank, save and reload to reset its position. If the Gifu’s tank is full, you can unload the waste at the Waste Treatment Facility.
