How to get the Ladybuggy in Grounded 2

Ladybuggy in Grounded 2

Grounded 2‘s latest update has added the Ladybuggy for you to obtain and ride on your adventures. However, finding the new buggy will require a significant amount of time.

The Ladybuggy is part of the new expansion area added to the game as part of the Winter Update. Reaching this area, even for regular players, should take some time, and then begins your pursuit of adding the newest buggy.

Let’s look at how you can add the Ladybug as a ride in Grounded 2.

How to upgrade your Omni-Axe in Grounded 2

The first important prerequisite for obtaining the Ladybuggy is to get your Omni-tool Axe upgraded. Head to a spot just north from Dr. Tully Statue location. You’ll encounter a new Red Ants anthill (War-Torn Anthill), but you’ll also encounter Black Ants. Take as many resources from Black Ants as possible, and start your journey to the other side.

Once you’re in the new area, you can start your preparations for upgrading the axe. You’ll also need to fight Praying Mantis Nymph for the rest of the resources. To complete the upgrade, here’s a list of items you’ll require.

  • 3000 Raw Science
  • Three Black Ant Mandibles
  • Two Praying Mantis Claws

Once you have all the required materials, head to the Research Stations to complete the upgrade. Next, we will have to reach the Cabbage Patch (eastern edge of the map), where a Turbo Optical Disk awaits us.

Go towards the back side, where you’ll find a hole under a cabbage leaf by the wooden boards (right where I have marked). This hole leads you to where the Turbo Optical disk can be found. The tunnel is dark, and its entrance is right under one of the big leaves. However, the path is straight and short, so there’s no getting mixed up.

This path leads you to the Cnady Processing Facility. You’ll find the disk on a desk opposite the research station, waiting on top of the Resource Analyzer. Extract the information it obtains, and you’ll now be ready to get your buggy (assuming you’ve already upgraded your Omni-tool Axe).

How to build the Ladybug Hatcher in Grouded 2

The Ladybug, like all other creatures, comes from an egg. You’ll have to build its hatchery, which requires the following materials.

  • Five Flower Petal
  • Six Chrysalis Leather
  • Three Weed Stems
  • Five Lint Rope

Chyrsalis Leather is the only one of all four items that is slightly hard to find. You’ll need to get three regular hide chunks and mix them together. You’re going to need 30 Chrysalis Chunks (18 for the hatchery, and the rest for the egg; more on that next).

When you’re shooting the Chrysalis chunks for getting leather, you’ll also encounter one of the Ladybug eggs. The exact location will be random, but you can use your existing buggy to carry the egg back to your base. The remaining items required for the hatchery are pretty easy to find.

Here’s a list of items you need for the Ladybuggy.

  • One Ladybug Egg
  • Three Chrysalis Leather
  • Four Black Ant Parts

Once you’ve collected all the items, you’ll need 12 in-game hours for the egg to develop and hatch. You’ll then have your Ladybuggy added to your roster of all other buggies that you might have already found in Grounded 2.

A small set of settlement in Earth of Oryn

Earth of Oryn could become the perfect January launch for those who are into city-building and resource management titles, and its release is almost here.

Originally meant for launch last year, we have had to wait till the first month of January. Earth of Oryn will be released exclusively on Steam, and this guide will help you keep track of the upcoming release.

Earth of Oryn release countdown

Earth of Oryn will be going live globally on Jan. 19. It’s unlikely that there will be any more delays at this late stage, and the following countdown will expire once the game goes live.

[hurrytimer id=”1167165″]

The countdown is based on the following timings.

  • 8am PT
  • 10am CT
  • 11am ET
  • 4pm UTC
  • 5pm CET

You can wishlist Earth of Oryn as of writing. There’s no pre-purchase, so we will have to wait for the launch to go live before we can purchase. The timings mentioned here are based on the information available on SteamDB.

What to expect from Earth of Oryn

Earth of Oryn puts you in charge of starting a new town in Brandford and building it one block at a time. Place houses, roads, workshops, and markets for your townsfolk to survive and thrive. As your town expands, so will its population.

With a modular building system, you’ll be able to give a personal touch to your base. There are research and new technologies available for you to discover on your journey. From the town design to managing its people and resources, you’ll need to do it all. More features are expected to be added later down the line as Earth of Oryn spends more months in early access.

If you want to check it out, there’s a free demo currently available on Steam. While it’s very early access, the last time I played, it will undoubtedly give you a good overview of what to expect.
