The Odeck’s Protector Armor set is one of the most powerful pieces of gear you can find in Crimson Desert, and there are two ways to obtain it. You can obtain the full set and all its pieces as part of a quest, but that becomes available in the late game. If you want to get the parts early, you’ll need to find them individually.
Table of contents
All Odeck’s Protector Armor Set part locations in Crimson Desert
If you don’t want to grind for the parts separately, you’ll need to complete the Slumbering Soul quest. However, this paction quest will unlock past Chapter 8, so it’s not going to happen in the early or mid-game.
Instead, you can find the full set early by collecting the parts.
Odeck’s Protector Plate Boots location in Crimson Desert
From the Sanctum of Temperance, go to the northeast side of the entrance. Take the stairs, and you’ll find a window opening in the wall. Go through the window to find another opening that’s hidden by bushes. You’ll find a chest inside that offers the boots.
Odeck’s Protector Plate Gloves location in Crimson Desert
Once you head to the Perwin Quarry in Witchwoods, you’ll find a cave with a breakable wall at its entrance. Break the wall with your Force Palm ability, and you’ll find a chest using the gloves.
Odeck’s Protector Plate Helm in Crimson Desert
To find the headpiece, you’ll need to find a vave between Denn River and Hexe Sanctuary. Again, breach the breakable wall with Force Palm hits, and go past the Abyss Cells after sealing them. Once you’re deeper into the cave, you’ll find the chest with the Protector Plate Helm.
Odeck’s Protector Plate Cloak location in Crimson Desert
This part is slightly trickier to find, as you’ll need to find Blackbear’s Hideout. Here, you’ll find a cave in the area; don’t enter. Instead, you’ll need to look for a gap in the wall that’s located between a watchtower and a bridge. If you refer to the image below, you’ll find the opening in the wall that leads you into the crevice.
While there’s only one corridor in the region, there will be enemies to fight. Follow the path until you reach an open chamber at the bottom. Again, clear all the enemies, and head left. Keep moving left, and then go down through a small hole, where you’ll find a ladder. You’ll find the gear piece on the floor once you’re down the ladder.
Odeck’s Protector Plate Chest location in Crimson Desert
To find the chest, go to the top of the Silver Wolf Mountain. You have to look for an underground pit named the Four Pits of Wayward Woods. There will be a breakable wall, and the chest can be found behind it. Open the chest, and you’ll find the Odeck’s Protector Plate Chest.

The Division Resurgence brings four different Specializations by default for players to enjoy, and they’re not equal. Similar to how they work in the PC/console version, Ubisoft has simplified how each Specialization works in the game.
While we are still in the early days of the game, some Specializations are already proving to be stronger than the rest.
Disclaimer: Tech class to be assessed.
Complete The Division Resurgence Specialization tier list
To separate the Specializations, I have opted for two tiers. There are just four of them, and they’re all pretty balanced.
- S-tier choices are highly suitable for all players, and they’re extremely strong in terms of their offered skills and abilities.
- A-tier choices are pretty close to S-tier choices, but they have some limitations.
S-tier
- Vanguard: If you love using weapons of different types, this is teh best choice for you. You’ll be able to increase teh damage for your own build and all your allies. You can also use the abilities to create cover around you that reduces incoming damage. The Scanning Pulse ability also allows you to scout nearby areas with your gadget. The Vanguard is by far the best Specialization in my books.
- Demolitionist: This class offers the best amount of explosive crowd control among all options. You can use your Explosive Seeker Mine and the Artillery Turret to clear the enemies. Finally, you’ve the Grenade Launcher to clear enemies when they overpower you.
A-tier
- Bulwark: The Bulwark is the default tank option that offers the best chances of survivability. The shield allows you to reflect incoming damage, while the Shockwave Spike can paralyze enemies. Finally, you can use your signature to create a full shield, along with an automatic shotgun that’s great for taking down enemies at close range.
- Field Medic: If you’re playing in a team, the Field Medic becomes S-class. After all, you get options to heal your squad and help them survive incoming attacks. However, you do lack in potential damage, and the utility of your heals reduces if you’re playing solo.
