There are many unique critters hopping around your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and slowly working on befirneding all of them is crucial. One of the most difficult critters to meet and get to know is the Calico Rabbit.
While the vast majority of critters can be found wandering around their assigned biomes quite often, there are a select few that rarely make an appearance. You can find the Calico Rabbit wandering around the Peaceful Meadow biome, which is right in the middle of the valley, south of the Plaza and north of Dazzle Beach. Like all critters, this one has its own unique schedule, which means you won’t always find it hanging out in this area. Instead, this critter makes an appearance from time to time, but otherwise goes into hiding.
Finding, feeding, and befriending the Calico Rabbit is a crucial part of the Olaf’s Grand Exhibition quest, as he asks you to meet all Rabbits to complete the Peaceful Meadow room portion of the museum.

Calico Rabbit favorite food in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Calico Rabbits’ favorite food is a Carrot in DDV. This is also the favorite food of all other Rabbits you’ll encounter around the Peaceful Meadow biome. They also like all Grains, Spices, Herbs, and Vegetables, but these other items don’t count as favorites, only liked foods, so stick to Carrots if you want the best chances of befriending this critter.
How to feed Calico Rabbit in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To feed the Calico Rabbit, you need to chase it around the Peaceful Meadow region a few times. Start by finding it in the right area, and once you do, walk right up to it, then wait for it to hop away to a new location. Follow it over to the next spot, stop by it, and wait for it to take off again. Repeat this process a total of three times to unlock the option to interact with the creature, at which point you can then feed the Calico Rabbit.
How to unlock Calico Rabbit in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Calico Rabbit can be unlocked as a Companion anytime after it’s been fed at least two times. The exact number of times you need to feed it will vary, though, as some players will get it on the second feed, while others may have to return to feed it 10 times to get it. Generally, though, it takes between two and six feedings to unlock this animal.
