The Dark Voyager is making his way around the island, and you’re not quite sure what he’s getting up to in Fortnite. To help you and your allies learn more about the situation, you need to find and collect all Chaos Cubes.

This is one of the longest and most tedious quests we’ve ever gotten in Fortnite, as it tasks you with tracking down a vast collection of rather small items. It’s an easy one to end up stuck on since you’ve not given much instruction for it, so here’s how to find and collect all Chaos Cubes in Fortnite.

What are Chaos Cubes in Fortnite?

Chaos Cubes are small, orange, floating, glowing cubes scattered around the island. They’re remnants left behind by the Dark Voyager as he’s making his way around the island, scheming up whatever he’s got planned next.

How to collect Chaos Cubes in Fortnite

To collect Chaos Cubes, you need to visit certain POIs around the map and pick them up. This process is a bit tricky to work through at first, so here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.

• Visit a location that has Chaos Cubes. Only specific POIs have them, so review the list of spawn spots below to make sure you’re searching in the right area.
• Look for the exclamation point icon. Once you’re in the right area, start exploring, and keep your eyes peeled for an exclamation point icon. This icon will appear whenever you’re close to one. You can see this icon through buildings, walls, doors, and anything else that may be between you and the Chaos Cube.
• Follow the icon to the Chaos Cube. Head toward the spot marked by the exclamation point icon on your screen. It won’t appear on your mini map, and instead simply hovers right above your character’s head. The glow effect around it acts as an arrow, guiding you to the right spot as you move around.
• Pick up the Chaos Cube. Approach the mysterious orange cube floating in the air and press the button that appears next to the word “Collect.” Although this button varies by platform, it’s always marked next to this phrase, helping you easily add this item to your collection.
• Repeat this process. Keep exploring the location you’re at until you recover all of the Chaos Cubes present there. Then, venture to new spots where they can spawn to collect even more.

How many Chaos Cubes are there in Fortnite?

There are 70 Chaos Cubes for you to find around the island. New ones will be released throughout the season, so you can’t get them all right away. Finding all 70 earns you a whopping 80,000 XP, plus the additional XP you earn each time you pick up one, which is a huge prize that makes this otherwise tedious task well worth the effort.

Chaos Cube locations in Fortnite

At the time of writing, there are eight locations you can visit to find Chaos Cubes. All eight spots are main POIs marked by name on the Chapter Seven, season two map. The quest page for this scavenger hunt says that more will be added in the future, though, so we’ll update this guide with additional spawn spots as they’re introduced.

• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Dark Dominion.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Battlewood Boulevard.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Painted Palms.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Wonkeeland.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Sus Studios.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Fore Fields.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Humble Hills.
• Five Chaos Cubes can be found around Latte Landing.

Around each location, Chaos Cubes can appear anywhere. Check inside buildings, underground, outside, on top of structures, and anywhere else you can think of. The exclamation point icon will always pop up when you’re close, acting as a helpful guide to get you to the right spot.

Crimson Desert has no shortage of activities to engage yourself in, and fishing can be one of the most lucrative ones at that. While it doesn’t take too long for you to unlock the ability to fish, this guide will still help you out with all the steps.

To fish in Crimson Desert, you’ll need a rod. You can also get better rods once you spend more hours on your adventure. But first, let’s look at the basics, which start with obtaining your first fishing rod.

How to get a fishing rod in Crimson Desert

Once you’ve cleared the first few pieces of content that basically act as an extended tutorial, you need to find a fishing village. Fishing villages are shown as boats on the map. If you’re wondering how the villages look on the map, refer to the image below. You can find several of them spread all around the map.

You’ll find a fishing vendor at a fishing village. You can obtain a fishing rod from them. Once you have your first rod, you can start to fish. Do note that not all fishing vendors might be selling the rod. If you don’t find it at one vendor, try out another, and you should come across the rod.

How to fish in Crimson Desert

This is the easier part. Once you’ve found your rod, head to a water body. Make sure that your fishing rod is equipped. Next, you have to cast the line. Be careful not to cast it over any debris. Wait for a few seconds for a fish to catch the lure.

Typically, you’ll hear three splashes before the fish bites the lure. Once it bites, press the hook button to catch the fish. But first, you’ll have to tire out the fish. If the fish goes left, use the LS button to move the rod right. If it’s moving right, then use the LS button to take your rod to the left. Then, press the reel-in button to catch the fish. Only try to reel in the fish after it has tired out.

You can also get better rods like the Fine Fishing Rod from the Greymane camp, which an NPC sells. Having better rods will allow you to get better catches, and some of them will be a great way to earn money.
