How to destroy objects with explosives in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1

All of the South Park Born in Chaos Fortnite quests are, as the name of the event hints, quite chaotic. One of the many wacky and wild missions you need to get done in the event tasks you with destroying objects with explosives.

In most seasons, there are at least a few different explosive weapons to choose from, but your options are very limited this time around. If you’re struggling to get this task done, here’s how to destroy objects with explosives in Fortnite.

All explosives in Fortnite Chapter 7, season 1

Unfortunately, there are only two explosive weapons in Chapter Seven, season one, which are Grenades and Dynamite. Since there are only two items you can use to cause explosions, getting this Born in Chaos quest done is a fairly tricky endeavor.

Luckily, both Grenades and Dynamite are fairly common items around the island. They’re both random loot resources, which means you can find them anywhere, whether it be in chests or simply sitting on the ground. I’ve had the overall best luck finding them from opening chests, so I recommend hunting for chests until you find some.

If you’re having trouble finding these explosives, there’s another method that works too, but it’s a lot more dangerous and specific to only certain parts of the map. This option is gas stations, which have gas pumps you can break to trigger mass explosions. There are four gas stations you can find around the island, which are located:

• Near the west end of Clawsy Lodge
• East of Bumpy Bay and west of Lethal Labs
• South of Sandy Strip
• East of Ripped Tides

If you choose the gas station method, you’ll need to break the pumps fast and then sprint away quickly. The explosions you can cause at gas stations are massive, but very deadly if you don’t get far enough away in time. This method will get the quest done faster, though, since there are lots of items that will break in the gas station explosion.

Destroy objects with explosives in Fortnite

To complete the destroy objects with explosives quest, you need to break a total of 25 items on the island. If you’re using Grenadesor Dynamite, this can take quite a long time, and you’ll also need to obtain many of them. The gas station method is quicker, but more dangerous, so it’s up to you which one you prefer.

Regardless of the method you use, try your best to cause the explosion to occur around as many objects as possible. The more there is to be destroyed at once, the less work you have to put in, allowing you to finish this quest more swiftly.

With this quest now complete, you can move on to other missions around the island. Next, you might work on all Kenny quests, locating Human Bill, recruiting a hired specialist, and finding the Chappell Roan Easter egg.

The need for Magnetic Accelerators have certainly increased a level or two ever since the Trophy Display project went live in ARC Raiders.

The new project, part of the Headwinds update, requires you to complete five different stages of tasks to get some amazing rewards. Let’s look at how you can find this Epic item from your grind in the wasteland.

Best locations for Magnetic Accelerators in ARC Raiders

Like every crafting material in ARC Raiders, there’s no definite location for the Magnetic Accelerators. However, it’s an Epic-tier loot. While Epic-tier loot can spawn anywhere, you’re expected to find it more in red-colored zones on every map.

One of my favorite locations is the Village POI in Blue Gate. This location has a locked room, and I have received at least three Magnetic Accelerators in the past, and one since the Headwinds update went live. Their exact location inside the locked room is different, so you’ll want to go through every bit of the container.

Another strange, but great spot, appears to be the room right by the elevator at the Testing Annex location on Dam Battlegrounds. This room has three lootable containers, and I have found three Magnetic Accelerators from this room. It’s usually unlocked, but expect to find ARCs since there’s a nearby elevator.

As the Magnetic Accelerator is an Epic-tier loot, you can also play on the maps when the following modifiers are active.

• Harvester
• Matriarch
• Electromagnetic Storm

Playing the Night Raids will also raise your chances of finding a Magnetic Accelerator. However, there will be more hazards that you need to watch out for on your raids.

How to craft Magnetic Accelerators in ARC Raiders

If your luck is poor, you can directly craft Magnetic Accelerators. You’ll need a level 3 Refiner for that. Reaching this point is going to take time (especially if you’re a beginner).

Once you have a level 3 Refiner, you’ll going to need the following materials.

• Two Advanced Mechanical Components
• Two ARC Motion Cores

How to use Magnetic Accelerators in ARC Raiders

You’re going to need at least 10 Magnetic Accelerators to submit to the Trophy Display project. You’ll need them to complete stage 4 of the project. Doing so will get you five Wolfpack grenades, which are immensely useful. You’re also going to come one step closer to finishing the whole project and unlocking the completionist rewards.
