The Forest Spirit wandering through a DOTS Projector in Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow event

There are many different tasks you need to complete in Phasmophobia’s Cursed Hollow event. One of the most important ones asks you to contribute event points as a daily and weekly quest.

You’re not given much information about how to tackle this endeavor, which means it might have you stumped. Finishing this task is crucial if you’re hoping to earn all unique rewards, so here’s how to contribute event points in the Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow event.

How to get event points in Phasmophobia Easter Cursed Hollow event

To contribute event points for Cursed Hollow, you must tackle the three main event goals, including correctly identifying ghosts, finishing optional objectives, and revealing Forest Minions. Points are awarded for making overall progress in the event, so tackling these three tasks is key.

  • Correctly identifying the ghost is worth 10 points.
  • Completing objectives is worth three points each.
  • Finding Forest Spirits is worth two points each.

This event can be a bit overwhelming and confusing if you’re unfamiliar with how seasonal events work. If you’re struggling with this task, here’s a breakdown of how to do it.

  • Select one of the daily event maps marked with a Forest Minion nest icon for your contract.
  • Load into the contract alone or with other players.
  • Locate the corkboard on the left side of the screens in the truck to review your optional objectives. You want to know what these are before you head inside, so you can work on them throughout the match.
  • Pick up three equipment items and head into the map.
  • Locate the ghost room. It’s generally easiest to do this using a Thermometer, EMF Reader, or Sound Sensors placed around the map.
  • Use your equipment in the ghost room to identify three pieces of evidence. Make trips back to the truck as needed to bring fresh equipment inside.

  • As you walk around the map, stop at any Forest Minion nest. Place a DOTS Projector beside it to reveal a Forest Minion if there’s one sitting inside. Do this at all nests you come across to ensure you obtain as many event points as possible.
  • Mark down any evidence you find in your journal as you investigate.
  • Once you have three types of evidence, circle the correct ghost in your journal.
  • Head back to the truck and check your optional objectives. If they’re not all complete, try to finish as many as you can.
  • Press the button by the truck door to end the contract.

For the daily contribute event points task, you need 75 points to earn $250. The weekly version of this quest tasks you with earning 300 points for $2,000. You’ll also steadily progress in the event by finishing these tasks, so you’ll be much closer to claiming the exclusive event rewards, including the Cursed Hollow cosmetics.
