How to complete Worth Your Salt in ARC Raiders

Worth Your Salt is one of the easier quests to complete in ARC Raiders, but there are several steps to complete.

Introduced as part of the Shrouded Sky update, you’ll need to find specific items to start the quest. You get the quest from Celeste, and here’s how you can complete it and all its steps.

ARC Raiders Worth Your Salt quest walkthrough

The Worth Your Salt quest can be broken down into the following parts.

• Go to the Rocket Assembly.
• Search for the hidden Battery Prototype in a high place.
• Bring the Battery Prototype to the Industrial Recharger.
• Use the machinery to charge the battery.
• Deliver the Charged Battery to the drop-off point in the corner.

Go to the Rocket Assembly

For this quest, all the action takes place on the Spaceport map. The Rocket Assembly location is near the Fuel Control POI, and it’s easy to find (since it’s a named location). However, I have still marked its location above for your convenience.

Search for the hidden Battery Prototype in a high place

The next task is to look for the hidden battery prototype. If you’ve entered from the Fuel Control direction, go near the wall and climb the red stairs. The stairs will lead you to the bridge. Take a left and jump over to reach the other side.

Climb the stairs, take another left, and search for a metal box near the red lockers. There’s only one box, and you’ll get the prompt to interact with it. Finish the process to get the battery and complete the second task.

Bring the Battery Prototype to the Industrial Recharger

You’ll need to carry the battery back through the metal bridge and drop down from the broken part. You’ll find two rechargers here; place the battery in the left one. This will also charge the battery, and it will automatically eject once it’s fully charged. Alternatively, drop down from where you picked up the battery and go left to find the chargers.

Deliver the Charged Battery to the drop-off point in the corner

Pick up the charged battery and go to the northern part of the Rocket Assembly POI. You’ll find another metal box on the ground. Interact with the box to deliver the charged battery prototype, and this completes the Worth Your Salt quest in ARC Raiders.

Upon completing the mission, you’ll get the Vita Spray Blueprint to add to your collection.

The launch of the Shrouded Sky update in ARC Raiders has a few new ways for players to be rewarded for their efforts, and the First Wave Raider Caches should be high on your priority list.

Not to be mistaken with the standard Raider Caches (in terms of their content), this variant is exclusive to the Hurricane map condition. While surviving the storm is filled with horrors and terrors, you can get some amazing loot in the process.

How to get First Wave Raider Caches in ARC Raiders

The First Wave Raider Caches are special containers that you can search for valuable loot. Not to be mistaken for Unconvered Caches, First Wave Raider Caches have been revealed by the strong winds of the Hurricane map event. These caches appear to be bigger than the standard ones (possibly due to the larger number of items).

Finding one is a huge challenge since it’s very hard to locate them in the dark. So far, I have found them on the Dam Battlegrounds and the Blue Gate maps. But some members of the community have also found success on Spaceport and Buried City.

I have marked the locations below (my own and based on the community). I have added the possible spots for Blue Gate and Dam Battlegrounds, but I will add more locations as I find more caches in the days to come.

First things first – the First Wave Raider Caches don’t have fixed locations on the map. Their locations appear to change with the raid, so that’s something to keep in mind. The locations shown on the images below are ‘possible’ spots where you should look. Finding one will also largely depend on your luck. Always look around the bushes because some of the caches can be hidden from open view.

Are First Wave Raider Caches worth it in ARC Raiders

First Wave Raider Caches are incredibly valuable to find in the current version of ARC Raiders. I am unsure if the rate of rewards will be changed in the future, but you can find some amazing items. The pool of possible rewards includes blueprints (for weapons and explosives), among other things.

Hence, finding the caches should be your top priority if you’re willing to brave the challenges of the Hurricane.
