The Test Case is a new quest in ARC Raiders that’s available as part of the Flashpoint update. On the surface, this is a relatively easy quest, as there is no hidden information to crack. However, you’ll need to face some of the harder enemies and take them down to complete the tasks.
ARC Raiders Test Case quest walkthrough
The Test Case quest can be broken down into four parts.
- Destroy a Firefly
- Deliver a Firefly Burner to Apollo
- Deliver a Hornet Driver to Apollo
- Deliver a Fireball Burner to Apollo
Incidentally, I already had Hornet Drivers and Fireball Burners in my inventory. You can simply donate them directly from your inventory to Apollo. You can find Hornets and Fireballs pretty easily.
- Hornets are found on all maps, but I have noticed more of them in the Blue Gate map. They’re usually found near the exfil points. To bring them down, you can always use weapons like the Aphelion or the Hullcracker. If you’re using a precise weapon, you should aim at the rear rotors since that will disbalance and cause them to crash.
- To take down Fireballs, you can try the Buried City map. Wait for them to charge at you. They will expose their core just when they’re about to throw fire at you. A single shot to the core is enough to take them down.
For the Firefly, you’ll need to adopt the same strategy as the Hornet. You’ll want to take the rotors at the back down, which will make it unable to aim at you. Using weapons like the Renegade will allow you to land those precise shots that are crucial to take down the Firefly.
Alternatively, you can also use explosives or weapons like the Hullcracker. A few shots from the Hullcracker should be enough to destroy the Firefly completely. You can then salvage its remains to find the Burner and bring it back safely to Apollo.
If you already have a Firefly Burner in your inventory, you can also donate it to Apollo for the quest. However, you’ll still have to destroy at least one Firefly to complete the quest.

Our beloved Scrappy is no longer the rooster that it was in ARC Raiders, and you can now feed it different items. The new feeding boost system is an extension of the default upgrade system since you can get bonuses.
This guide will state all the bonus rewards that you can get from feeding Scrappy with various food items.
All ARC Raiders Scrappy feeding boosts explained
There are two types of bonuses you can activate by feeding Scrappy. The table below has all the important information that you’ll need when trying to activate the boosts.
| Food item | Feeding Rewards | Resource Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Agave | Mods/Mod crafting materials | Assorted Seeds |
| Apricot | Gunsmith material or equipment | Metal Parts |
| Fruit Mix | Better chance of finding Topside materials | Rubber Parts Fabric Chemicals Metal Parts Plastic Parts Assorted Seeds |
| Lemon | Explosive Station materials or equipment | Chemicals |
| Mushroom | Gear Bench materials or equipment | Plastic Parts |
| Olives | Medical lab materials or equipment | Fabric |
| Prickly Pear | Utility Station material or equipment | Rubber Parts |
Both the Feeding Rewards and Resource Bonus will be activated for one round once Scrappy has been fed. The bonuses and rewards will be determined by what you’re feeding Scrappy, and you can queue up to six different food items.
Once the round is finished, you’ll get your applicable rewards. The collection box has a limit, so check it after every round or two to see if Scrappy has managed to get anything valuable.
How to feed Scrappy in ARC Raiders
Once you have a food item, you can feed it to Scrappy. If you have extra, you can add it to the queue. That way, you won’t need to add the food item after every round manually. Once the round is over, you’ll get the bonus materials in the Collection Box.
Ideally, you should always feed food items that match your requirements (in terms of the offered bonuses).
