How to complete Eggs-ceptional Decorating in Disney Dreamlight Valley

One of the many quests you need to tackle for the Easter Eggstravaganza event in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Eggs-ceptional Decorating. The requirements for this task are very specific, so it can be a tough one to figure out.

Like all event tasks, you’re only given a vague name as a hint for what needs to be done. It’s likely not enough for you to figure out this task, so if you’re stumped, here’s how to complete the Eggs-ceptional Decorating duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Eggs-ceptional Decorating duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the Eggs-ceptional Decorating duty for the Easter Eggstravaganza event, you need to craft and place four egg-themed furniture items in your valley. You can place four items inside one of your houses or outside around the valley. Both options work, so choose whichever one works better for you.

The furniture you craft can be four unique egg-themed items or duplicates of the same ones. If you don’t already have all of the available options, I recommend crafting four different items so you can unlock more furniture to decorate your valley with.

Here are all of the egg-themed furniture items you can craft for the Eggs-ceptional Decorating duty.

Name Materials Image
“Don’t Put ‘Em All in One Basket” Basket Can be crafted using:
10 Wild Spring Eggs
10 Egg-cellent Fruits
Five Spring V-EGG-etables
20 Fiber
Don't put em all in one basket basket in DDV.
Over Easy Chair Can be crafted using:
Five Wild Spring Eggs
Five Egg-cellent Fruits
An over easy chair in DDV.
Spring Egg Bounty Can be crafted using:
15 Wild Spring Eggs
15 Egg-cellent Fruits
15 Spring V-EGG-etables

Sunny Side Up Arch Can be crafted using:
25 Wild Spring Eggs
25 Egg-cellent Fruits
25 Spring V-EGG-etables
10 Iron Ingots
Sunny side up arch in DDV.

If you’ve worked your way through most of the Eggstravaganza event, you’ve likely noticed that there are loads of other craftable furniture items you can make and place, like the Spring Stall, Pastel Egg Cooking Station, Egg Banner, and Potted Spring Egg Tree. New items are also added yearly, so the collection of assets you can make as of the 2026 run is rather large.

Unfortunately, no other items beyond the four listed above actually count for this task, even if they are technically egg-themed and part of the event. This task is super picky, as there are 18 egg-themed items that can be placed around the village, yet only four that work for Eggs-ceptional Decorating. It feels like this duty is due for an update to make it include new event items, but it hasn’t gotten one, so you must stick to the four listed above to complete it.

Eggs-ceptional Decorating reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Your reward for finishing this special event task is a Tulip Lamp. It’s a great item for decorating spring spaces and a fun way to add light in dark areas. It can be placed on surfaces like tables and counters or dropped directly on the ground.

Although you only get one for completing this task, you can buy additional ones from Scrooge McDuck after acquiring your first one, but it will cost you. Each one you buy costs 10,000 Star Coins, so it’s a really costly item to purchase lots of.

For more special rewards, consider tackling other event quests like That’s Not Where Eggs Come From! and Spring Taste Test next. You also might want to learn how to get Purple Spring Eggs, Fishy Green Eggs, and Wild Spring Eggs.

New Edinburgh in Frostpunk 2

Things will be heating up in the summer in Frostpunk 2 with Breach of Trust DLC coming on PC and consoles. So far, the frost has been mankind’s greatest enemy as we have all rushed to keep our homes warm.

The Breach of Trust DLC will completely change the battle, as you now have to outlast an impending volcano.

Frostpunk 2 Breach of Trust DLC features

The heart of your settlement is your Generator, which keeps everything warm. However, overuse of the resource has now created ruptures in the ground that have resulted in the volcano emerging as the biggest threat. With people in panic, you’ll have to take charge as the First Citizen to steady the ship.

While managing the lava is one part of the job, you’ll also need to keep your citizens’ needs in mind. Public approval is key if you don’t want to meet the fate of your predecessor. A Vote of Trust system will be operational throughout the scenario, which will decide just how well you’re doing the job.

Just like the frost, the volcano has its own set of environmental hazards. You’ll need to survive nights when lava will pour out along with tremors in the ground. How you interact and behave in the scenarios will have a key impact on deciding the outcome. However, you’ll not be alone since you can take the diplomatic route with other colonies to aid your cause (or destroy them if you want).

Additionally, the DLC will also offer two scenario-based maps, new buildings/infrastructure, and new laws that you’ll need to keep in mind when making decisions. There will also be new factions that will either be with or against you.

Frostpunk 2 Breach of Trust DLC release date

Breach of Trust releases globally on June 23 across all platforms. It’s currently available in closed playtest, and willing players can sign-up via Steam (available only for PC). It will be interesting to find out how the DLC will be priced and if it will be able to outdo Fractured Utopias, which is currently having a discount on Steam.
