The Catastrophe’s Aftermath is one of several faction quests you can complete in Windrose, and it’s one of the more advanced ones. Ideally, you need to be at character level 7 to take on this quest, but you can start it whenever (the tasks might be harder).
Let’s find out how you can complete all tasks of this faction quest.

Windrose Catastrophe’s Aftermath quest walkthrough
The Catastrophe’s Aftermath quest can be broken down into the following parts.
- Get the supplies from the ship
- Bring the supplies to Charlie Sharpe at the refugee camp
- Talk to Doctor Galen about the medicine
- Collect 15 bundles of healing herbs and bring them to Galen
- Bring the medicine to Charlie Sharpe
- Get rid of Jim Godart
- Return to Charlie Sharpe
Get the supplies from the ship
Once you accept the quest, the marker will take you to a marked ship on the map. Go there and retrieve all the supplies that you can find. You’ll face drowned enemies at this location that you’ll need to clear before you can proceed.
Bring the supplies to Charlie Sharpe at the refugee camp
Follow the quest marker and reach the refugee camp, where you’ll meet Charlie Sharpe. This is the same guy you met during the Buccaneers faction quest. Charlie will ask you to speak with Doctor Galen. When you seek out the doctor, he will inform you that he doesn’t have a spare stash of medicine. However, he will happily make you the medicines if you can get him the ingredients.
Collect 15 bundles of healing herbs and bring them to Galen
Explore the map and find 15 Healing Herbs, and then return them to Doctor Galen. You can use items from your stash if you already have them. Alternatively, you can search Ancient Containers or defeat enemies to get them randomly.
Once you return the herbs to Doctor Galen, he will craft and give you a care package of medicine. Take this crate to Charlie Sharpe. He will thank you for your efforts and ask you for one more favor. He will tell you about taking down Jim Godart, whose information has been provided by Long Ben.
Get rid of Jim Godart
If you follow the quest marker, it will lead you to Godart’s camp. His entire crew will be here, so be careful. Godart uses a ranged weapon, so you can use a gun if you don’t want to get too close. If you can isolate Godart, you should fire at him and then run. He will follow you, and a couple more shots (depending on your level and weapon) will eliminate the boss. You only have to eliminate Jim Godart, so any extra combat is your choice.
Once done, return to Charlie Sharpe and inform him that the task is done. He will announce that there would have been a feast had the governor been alive, but that’s not the case. However, you’ll still get the following rewards for your efforts.
- 200 Piastre
- 10 Letter of Favor

Fate of the Prophets is one of the more advanced side quests you can complete in Windrose. The recommended player level is 14, so you’ll have to do a fair bit of in-game grind to gain access to the quest.
Let’s look at how to solve all the tasks of this quest in Windrose.
Windrose Fate of the Prophets quest walkthrough
The crux of the quest is about exploring the ancient observatories.
- Stargazer Tower (First Stargazer)
- Ancient Observatory
- Warlord’s death site
Travel to the Stargazer Tower (position will have a marker) and reach its inner sanctum. You’ll have to solve the puzzle to open the secret room. Head inside and interact with the Observatory Stele to find out what happened with the first Stargazer.
The second one is in an ancient observatory that’s located southeast of the Stargazer Tower. Follow the marker, and clear all enemies you can find in the area. Solve the puzzle, and reach the inner sanctum. Interact with the second Observatory Stele to find out what happened to the second Stargazer.
Follow the marker and head north to find another observatory. The basic ritual is the same: kill the enemies, head to the inner sanctum, and interact with the Observatory Stele to find out what happened with the third Stargazer.
Finally, travel to the warlord’s death site, but there won’t be anything to note. Instead, you’ll need to defeat Chick Chan. It’s not the hardest of bosses, but it has a massive health pool. Hence, you’ll inevitably take damage from its attacks. Just stock some healing items, and you should be good to go. Once Chick Chan is defeated, it will end Fate of the Prophets, and you’ll get the following rewards.
