The Lady and the Tramp Realm has all kinds of special items you need to recover for key quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the tougher ones to get is Saucery Extract, but it’s crucial for saving Tramp.
You’re asked to find this item during a fairly chaotic mission where Tramp is in danger, so time is of the essence. Lady doesn’t give you much help for locating this resource, though, so here’s how to collect Saucery Extract in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to get Saucery Extract in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Saucery Extract can be picked up off the ground around the Lady and the Tramp Realm in DDV. It appears as a dark red glob of sauce with some noodles and a small piece of green seasoning on top. When you’re decently close to one, this item also sparkles, making it easier to distinguish.
Where to find Saucery Extract in Disney Dreamlight Valley
During The Jailbreak quest, you can find Saucery Extract strewn on the ground randomly throughout the Lady and the Tramp Realm. The spawn locations for this item vary for all players, so you won’t find yours in the same spots as anyone else.
All Saucery Extract will only appear along the main road area, though, which makes finding it a bit easier since you can skip searching in or near the dog pound and around the fenced-off area behind Tony’s Restaurant. Look for the dark black street areas covered in large pools of orange sauce to find the 12 Saucery Extract you need.
Generally, where you find one Saucery Extract, you’ll find at least a few more of them nearby. When I gathered this resource, I always found it in groups, which made gathering the full amount required for this mission much easier.
How to use Saucery Extract in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Saucery Extract is a crucial component for crafting your very own Substitute Snout to find Tramp in the pasta storm. You’ll keep using it after this, too, as it’s a key quest item for the rest of the Realm quests you need to finish.
It’s also important for the friendship missions you’ll work on with Lady and Tramp back in the valley after, as well as an item you’ll need in the process for unlocking Pluto, which begins with The Spaghetti Incident quest.
Once you’ve got the Saucery Extract you need, you’ll be one step closer to unlocking Lady and Tramp. There’s still plenty more work to be done, though, including completing the Meatballs quest and completing the Critters and Compassion quest.

High on Life 2 is now out on PC and consoles, and the general performance on the former platform is below par at best.
There have been instances of several players encountering occasional lags and stutters early on their adventures. The main culprit, once again, appears to be Unreal Engine 5. Thankfully, there are a few tweaks you can make on your own to smooth the performance.
Best High on Life 2 graphics settings
Before I deep dive into my current settings, here are the specifications of my PC.
- AMD Ryzen 5600G
- 16 GB of DDR5 RAM
- NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 GB
Here’s the set of settings I have been using to get the best possible gameplay.
- Window Mode: Windowed Fullscreen (depends completely on your personal preferences)
- Resolution: 1920×1080 (depends on your setup)
- Framerate Limit: 60
- V Sync: Disabled
- Graphics Quality: Medium
- Upscaling: NVIDIA DLSS (FSR for AMD devices)
- Upscaling Method: Balanced
- Frame Generation Technologies: Off
- Latency Reduction Technologies: Off
- Motion Blur: Disabled
- Chromatic Aberration: Disabled
- FOV: 90
- View Distance Quality: Medium
- Global Illumination Quality: Medium
- Anti-Aliasing Quality: Medium
- Shadow Quality: Low
- Post Process Quality: Medium
- Texture Quality: Medium
- Effects Quality: Medium
- Foliage Quality: Reduce it to Low if you’re struggling with performance
Here are some key pointers to remember. I have tried with unlimited FPS and 120 FPS. Both seem to cause trouble in the form of stutter. It could be my system, but I believe 60 FPS is a good limit if you have a weak hardware setup. While High on Life 2 is a shooter, it’s not a competitive one. 60 FPS will be more than enough if you manage to keep the stutters away.
V Sync comes disabled by default, and it’s best to keep it that way. The extra feature doesn’t offer much, but consumes a lot more resources.
