The MTG and Marvel Super Heroes collaboration will have four Commander precons featuring wonderful cards for you to find. While the complete decklists are yet to be revealed as of writing, we have had sneak peeks about the foundation items.

As always, all four decks will have 100 cards each, with one of them having four different deck leaders. Let’s find out all the key cards that have been revealed so far and what we can expect from the Commander precons for the upcoming set.

All our favorite characters from the Marvel universe have been converted into MTG items for the upcoming set, and they will all align with the different colors.

Captain America and Nick Fury cards in MTG — Remix by Destructoid via WOTC

This deck is ideal for those who want to adopt a reactive style of gameplay. Captain America will be a three mana 3/3 who can buff cards with the Hero subtype when you play them. Any applicable card you play will get Haste, Vigilance, and +1/+1, while also applying a +1/+1 on Captain America himself.

Director Fury, on the other hand, will reduce the cost of spell cards by one. This applies to all spell cards that you play from your deck, and allows you to create more synergies with the extra mana you save in the process.

Fantastic Four

Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic cards in MTG — Remix by Destructoid via WOTC

This unique deck has four main Commanders to pick from. While all four cards reward you when you play noncreature spells, the interactions are unique. For example, Mr. Fantastic can double a key triggered ability, while Invisible Woman can enlarge one of your creatures and make it unblockable.

The deck will also feature the The Fantastic Four Jumpstart card, among others.

Wakanda Forever

This deck works on the Monarch mechanic, which essentially acts like a draw deck. However, there are more interactions to explore when cards you play create Vibranium tokens. The deck is led by T’Challa, the Black Panther, who can ramp each turn if you manage to cast an artifact spell with a mana value of four or more.

Shuri, the Black Panther, also benefits immensely when you play more artifacts. If you control three or more artifacts, Shuri will draw a card when she attacks. If you control six or more artifacts, all creatures under your control will get +2/+2 until the end of your turn.

Doom Prevails

Dr. Doom and Loki in MTG — Remix by Destructoid via WOTC

Led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, this deck works around the life drain and connive mechanic. Whenever you discard one or more land cards with Doctor Doom in play, all opponents lose two life. Moreover, the target villain you control will gain menace until the end of turn, and it also connives.

Then there’s Loki, who will create a tapped and attacking token when he attacks. The token will be a copy of another target Villain you control. You can then use the Illusion however you want. You also draw a card when one or more Villains you control deal damage.
