A great way to farm various materials, including those precious Fragments of Sacred Light, tackling the right sudden missions in DragonSword: Awakening can allow you to max out your main teams in a flash.
Finding them, however, is a whole different issue, as you can only track a bounty on your map after meeting it face-to-face. Here’s the location of all Sudden Missions in DragonSword: Awakening.

All DragonSword: Awakening Sudden Mission locations
You can complete a total of 39 Sudden Missions in DragonSword: Awakening, all tasking you with eliminating their set target and resetting at 9 AM local time. Many also demand venturing within caves or unlocking basements, so keep that in mind if the bounty notice fails to appear once you get close to any of the following locations.
All Fragments of Sacred Light Sudden Mission locations
Starting with the main event, you can get a total of 420 Fragments of Sacred Light by completing eight Sudden Missions (Defeat Spark Droplet Murto / Defeat Bargon, Wings of the Wild / Defeat Aela, Wings of Ruin/ Defeat Autophagist Gult / Defeat Sand Claw Dragus / Defeat Acidic Slime Drazel / Defeat Sticky Slime Frunk / Defeat Earth-Splitting Cragmo).
Among them, Murto is the trickiest to find and requires you to get behind a waterfall at its marked location in Shadowed Woods.
All Shape Grinder Sudden Mission locations
Another nine Sudden Missions reward you with the Shape Grinders needed to reroll your equipment pieces, with the Ruined Temple region featuring four (Soulwarden Zelmoor, Void Twilight Noor, Faint Veil Sher, and Grak the Bloodmaw). After getting the grinders, simply select any equipment piece while at your hero’s screen and head to Reforge to use them. You can only reforge maxed-level gear.
All Forging Mold Sudden Mission locations
Breaking the streak of nine, only the Defeat Piercing Zektar and Defeat Blood-Red Commander Bespina Sudden Missions reward you with Forging Molds. Like the Shape Grinders, you can also get the molds by expending Adventurer’s Emblems at the Exchange Shop.
All Gold Sudden Mission Locations
Although completing the Eroded Underground Cemetery Currency Dungeon will offer you way more and a way higher amount of EXP in the late game, 10 Sudden Missions will reward you with extra Gold (50K each). You can check out the exact location of each below:
All Tome of Insight Sudden Mission locations
Nine Sudden Missions reward you with Tomes of Insight. The thing is, even if we consider the 27 you can earn in total here (three per bounty), you can still get 100 per run by challenging Dragon Worshipper Ruins (Tier 3).
All Anonymous Artisan’s Crafting Tool Sudden Mission locations
Dragonrise Basin’s Defeat Braheim, the Heretic Guide is the only Sudden Mission rewarding you with Anonymous Artisan’s Crafting Tools at the moment. The tool can be used to imbue runes into your equipment pieces. To check out more about the system, see our ultimate rune guide.
How to find the secret Defeat Undiscarded Erat Sudden Mission in DragonSword: Awakening
By far the hardest-to-reach bounty in DragonSword: Awakening, the Undiscarded Erat can be found by heading underwater from the shores of either Shadowed or Firefly Forest before finding a crevice at the spot marked below. Going a little further down from it will then allow you to claim Kalien’s secret outfit.
Upon defeating the bounty, you will receive the usual 300 EXP, as well as 20 Crystals of Remembrance, 20 Crystals of Recollection, 20 Crystals of Reverie, and 20 Crystals of Oblivion.
