Black Ops 7 Season 3 Reloaded patch notes – RoboCop, new guns, new maps, and more

RoboCop BO7

The ongoing narrative in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 continues with a new midseason update, but let’s be real, you’re here for RoboCop.

The titular character from the classic 80s action movie has felt destined for a CoD cameo for quite some time, and it’s finally happening in Season Three Reloaded of BO7. The new update also adds new weapons to use, new maps in multiplayer, and more, so get ready to obey the law.

Here’s everything coming to BO7 multiplayer in Season Three Reloaded.

Black Ops 7 Season 3 Reloaded patch notes

RoboCop collab and event pass

In a collaboration that feels long overdue, RoboCop is joining Black Ops 7 and Warzone as a new operator alongside a new event pass with a bunch of free and premium rewards to earn. Operator skins, cosmetics, weapon blueprints, and more can be earned by simply playing and gaining XP across a variety of modes.

2 new weapons

The Siren special weapon and Katana melee weapon will be available free-to-earn as part of events.

Utilizing some fun future tech, the Siren “fires a slow-moving projectile, its velocity increasing as you charge the weapon before letting loose on your target.” The Katana, meanwhile, is exactly what you’d expect: a big-ass sword to slice people with.

Weapon buffs and nerfs

Several weapons have been changed in the new update, including a nerf to the 1911 pistol and buff for the X9 Maverick. For the full patch notes, check out the CoD website.

3 multiplayer maps

One new map (Onsen) along with two classic remakes (Summit from Black Ops 1 and Hacienda from Black Ops 4) will add the rotation of locations where players can pub-stomp or sweat to their heart’s desires in.

New game modes

Some fun new modes join the fray in S3R, including Freerun, which is all about BO7’s parkour abilities. It’s a time attack course on the map Ascent, a Guild Tower construct that’s been designed specifically for the mode. “When the race begins, follow the track to progress through an increasingly demanding 10 zones, testing your abilities across a variety of challenges,” Activision said.

Heat Wave Havoc is a limited-time mode on Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint, where players “progress through five different Heat Levels, each level granting additional abilities improving combat efficiency.”

Finally, Freeze Tag is a new six-vs-six mode where you must freeze enemies while keeping allies thawed out. “Eliminated Operators drop into a frozen state, where they are unable to complete any actions until a teammate shatters them free by shooting or otherwise damaging their downed teammate,” Activision said.

Terry Crews Replacer skin

The long-rumored Terry Crews Replacer skin will also be available in the CoD store in Season 3 Reloaded, including a number of items and cosmetics in the bundle.

Endgame updates

Endgame will remain free-to-play for a limited time, including the new Mega Abomination activity, new Thermal Spike major ability, and Act 2: Broken Mirror, where players will “return to Avalon to gather Diagnostic Data through targeted operations that disrupt Guild assets and expose the mirror network’s inner workings.”

“These missions escalate toward the discovery of a Glitch Fracture, allowing players to breach the network’s corrupted core,” Activision explained. “By exploiting that breach, JSOC gains a delivery path for Karma’s virus, putting Javelin in position to deploy it from within and collapse the mirror network entirely.”

This operation’s rewards include a new blueprint, emblem, XP token, Restore Token, loading screen, and more.

Jotunn Star in Black Ops 7 Zombies

The Totenreich map in Black Ops 7 Zombies has a new musical easter egg for you to solve, and the process involves finding three Mister Peeks Headphones. The three headphones, as is the norm, are spread all around the map.

This guide will help you figure out all three locations so that you can unlock the song at the earliest.

All Mister Peeks Headphone locations in Black Ops 7 Zombies

You can find the following headphones in any order you like. There’s no fixed way to find them. To activate the song, you’ll need to find and interact with all three of them.

Dry Dock

You’ll find a massive boat in the Dry Dock location, situated right at the center. Drop down to the ground, and head to the right of the boat. Reach approximately the middle of the boat on the ground, and the headphones will be located in a box on top of the crates.

Core Foundry

The second one can be found in the room opposite the Double Tap Root Beer machine in Core Foundry. Head inside (from the side of the Root Beer machine), and then turn right. There’s a bunch of old machinery located near the wall, and the headphones are located among them (look down by crouching, and you’ll find your headphones).

Loven’s Antiquities

The third one is located near where you spawn on the map. Head inside from the main door of the building, and look past the desk. There are a bunch of plates in the cupboard, and the headphones are in the bottom shelf.

Once all three headphones have been found, it will activate the No One There track, composed by Kevin Sherwood and Vicky Psarakis.
