Best upgrade order for Strategist Deadpool in Marvel Rivals

Deadpool reading a book in marvel rivals

Deadpool is one of the most complex characters to learn in Marvel Rivals, as he’s the only one who can play all three roles. Regardless of the role you choose, you have to upgrade him throughout the round, which is a tricky process to get used to.

As a Strategist, you’ll want to be extra careful with your choices, as a few of his abilities aren’t really that useful for supporting your team. This means you’ll want to learn and master the best upgrade order for Strategist Deadpool in Marvel Rivals.

Best order to upgrade Strategist Deadpool in Marvel Rivals

The best upgrade order for the Strategist version of Deadpool is 3>1>5>6>2>4>7. You always want to start off with a heavy focus on upgrading your healing abilities early on, as this will help increase your output and consistency throughout the entire round. Here’s what your upgrade order should generally look like.

  1. 3 – Bouncing Bobblehead
  2. 1 – Dual Desert Eagles – Strategist
  3. 5 – Deadpool in Your Area – Strategist
  4. 6 – Pwnage Pound
  5. 2 – Kick@$$ Katanas
  6. 4 – Healing Hijinks – Strategist
  7. 7 – Final Exam

Depending on how you play, you may want to swap a few moves here and there, but overall, you should try to mostly stick to this order, as it ensures your healing potential will quickly and efficiently increase.

1) Bouncing Bobblehead (3)

The most essential upgrade to grab as early as possible is Bouncing Bobblehead. On its own, this is one of his most impactful Strategist moves, as it’s a powerful boomerang that heals allies and damages foes it comes into contact with.

The upgrade lets you catch it and throw it out two more times before it then explodes to deal additional damage and dish out even more healing. It’s reliable, consistent, and incredibly powerful for dealing with large groups of friends and foes at once.

2) Dual Desert Eagles – Strategist (1)

The next move you want to buff as soon as possible is Dual Desert Eagles – Strategist. This upgrade is for your pistols, which are another highly reliable source of healing and damage output. By default, shooting heals allies and damages foes, but with the upgrade unlocked, you eventually get a special through bubble blast that adds even more healing and damage into the mix once you’ve been shooting for a bit.

3) Deadpool in Your Area – Strategist (5)

The third most important ability to upgrade is Deadpool in Your Area – Strategist. When activated, this move triggers a healing circle that restores allies and taunts enemies within the radius, messing up their vision. When upgraded, you also melt enemies’ health while supplying your teammates with damage buffs. Foes who stay close to you for too long also lose visibility of their UI for a bit.

4) Pwnage Pound (6)

Pwnage Pound is, by far, the superior ultimate you can use in Deadpool’s Strategist form. This move allows you to taunt an enemy, forcing them to take damage anytime they miss their abilities. Meanwhile, your teammates get non-stop healing. When upgraded, foes also take damage over time, no matter what, while Deadpool and his nearby allies get non-stop heals, with each tick of damage to the enemy supplying them with more healing.

5) Kick@$$ Katanas (2)

By default, you shouldn’t be using your Kick@$$ Katanas all that much as Deadpool, since it’s easy to get torn down quickly as a Strategist with fairly low health. The upgraded version, though, makes them a lot more usable, as it allows stabs to crit and guarantees the next slice after a Healing Hop will be a crit.

6) Healing Hijinks – Strategist (4)

Healing Hijinks – Strategist is another move you likely won’t find as much use for as a Strategist, who will generally be spending time in the backline. By default, it lets you dash to an enemy, damaging them while sending a bit of healing to your nearby allies. When upgraded, he can bounce in any direction for up to two bonus moves that allow him to perform the dash again, gaining extra damage output and healing along the way if he lands his shots.

7) Final Exam (7)

Deadpool’s Final Exam ability, which is the ultimate you can trigger while wielding his katanas, should always be your absolute last priority when upgrading his skillset. The other ultimate, which can be activated when he’s holding his pistols, is much better for his team and should always be a key focus for upgrading early on.

Best upgrades for Strategist Deadpool in Marvel Rivals

The overall most important and impactful upgrades for the Strategist version of Deadpool are Bouncing Bobblehead, Dual Desert Eagles – Strategist, and Deadpool in Your Area – Strategist. These three moves help you supply consistent and reliable healing to your teammates, allowing you to support them the best way you can and keeping them alive on the battlefield.

ARC Raiders rubber ducks

The Headwinds update has dropped different types of Rubber Ducks that you can find in ARC Raiders, and getting them could certainly make you pretty wealthy.

Rubber Ducks have always been a popular item among the playerbase, despite not having any practical use. The Headwinds update has added more types to collect, so let’s find out how.

All Rubber Ducks in ARC Raiders

As of writing, there are seven types of collectible Rubber Ducks you can find in ARC Raiders. This is based on the types that the community and I have discovered. If there are more, I will add them to this guide.

  • Rubber Duck (Common)
  • Tropical Duck (Uncommon)
  • Gentle Duck (Uncommon)
  • Alien Duck (Uncommon)
  • Doodly Duck (Rare)
  • Flashy Duck (Rare)
  • Familiar Duck (Epic)

The process of obtaining all types of Rubber Ducks is the same. However, the ones that are rare will be harder to find.

How to get Rubber Ducks in ARC Raiders

To find Rubber Ducks, you’ll have to wait for the Bird City map modifier. This map modifier, released as part of the Headwinds update, will be exclusively available for the Buried City map. When the modifier is active, you’ll have to search the chimneypots.

If you’re lucky, you can find Rubber Ducks among the items that spawn at the chimneypots. To collect, just search the bird nests.

What do with the Rubber Ducks in ARC Raiders

All types of Rubber Ducks that you can find are considered trinkets. You can stack up to 15 of each type in your stash, and then sell them for trinkets. The rarer a Duck, the more money you’ll get from your sales.

Hence, you can make plenty of money by finding at least a few of them on your raids in Buried City.
