ARC Raiders Week 11 Trials (Jan. 5) – How to get three stars (Season 2 Week 3)

Bastion in ARC Raiders

The ARC Raiders trials for Week 11 (or the third week of Season 2) are now live, and there are five new tasks to complete.

Once again, some tasks seem relatively easy, while others will take more time. Embark has again added a task that can only be completed when Cold Snap is active. This guide will provide you with all the information you need to complete all five tasks and get three stars.

ARC Raiders Week 11 Trials walkthrough

Week 11 has five tasks to complete. It involves taking down specific ARCs and also farming certain resources. The complete set can be broken down as follows.

  • Damage Snitches
  • (Cold Snap) Throw snowballs at Bastions
  • Damage Bastions
  • Search Supply Drops
  • Harvest Plants

Damage Snitches

Snitches can be found on all maps (barring Stella Montis, apparently, if my luck is to be considered). They’re aerial ARCs that might not do much damage on their own. However, they can alert nearby ARCs to your presence, which can be pretty disastrous.

While you can find them on all maps and they don’t have specific locations, Blue Gates appear to have more of them. Ideally, you’ll want to look around the different POIs on the map for increased luck. Once you spot one, take it down. While eliminating Snitches isn’t necessary, you’ll want to do that to save yourself from dying to other ARCs.

Throw Snowballs at Bastions

Bastions are one of the larger ARCs in the game, and they have a massive amount of armor. A guaranteed spot to find them is in Stella Montis, where you’ll find one in the Loading Bay area. However, you’ll also need to hit it with snowballs, which requires the Cold Snap map condition.

The best choice of map is Blue Gate. They’re usually found near the Warehouse Complex building, but their actual position can be random. First, collect snowballs, and then start peppering a Bastion with them. You’ll need to do it 16 times if you want to get three stars. If you’re in a party, the progression will be shared among all of you.

Damage Bastions

This is an easier task since you can combine it with the requirement above. The difference is to hit the Bastion with your weapons this time. If you’re in a party, one of you should bait the Bastion out while others deal damage. You’ll want to use heavy weapons that offer severe damage per shot. Adding tools like the Wolfpack to your inventory, along with Deadline, will also be incredibly helpful.

Search Supply Drops

Supply Drops can be found on all maps, but you’ll see Dam Battlegrounds in the image below. The locations marked on the screenshot below represent Supply Call Stations. You can then call a Supply Drop to gain valuable resources.

For three stars, you’ll need to repeat the task a few times. You gain 600 XP when you interact with the Supply Drop, and 200 XP more when you complete the search. The Cold Snap condition will double the XP gain, making it easier to get three stars.

Harvest Plants

To complete this task, you’ll want to visit areas marked as vegetation on any map. You can try your luck with Dam Battlegrounds, where you can go to the South Swamp Outpost in the western part of the map. The Hydrophonic Dome is also filled with mushrooms and other types of vegetation.

Your progress will only count if you’re interacting with the plant and complete the loot. You can also try your luck during the Lush Bloom event. However, the Lush Bloom event will only raise the spawn of plants and won’t reward you with bonus XP.

Classifieds Magazine in My Winter Car

The Classifieds Magazine in My Winter Car can be immensely useful if you’re looking to buy different parts.

The Corris Rivett is available as the first buildable project, and it has plenty of parts for you to build. Some of the parts can be pretty expensive, and that’s where the Classifieds Magazine comes in. You can use its advertorials to get used parts that cost half of their new counterparts.

How to get used parts in My Winter Car

The first task is to get a Classifieds Magazine to access the advertorial section. This section has a bunch of second-hand parts on offer for you to buy. You can also obtain new parts that might appear at random. You’ll find an applicable phone number associate with these parts.

The next task is to go home and call the number. Wait for the call to disconnect. If the item is available, your order has been placed. Wait for a couple of in-game days for the part you ordered to arrive. Once you have ordered a specific part, you can’t repeat the process with the magazine.

The parts you’re looking for might not be listed on the classifieds. If that happens, wait for the weekly refresh to get new offers. You’ll, however, need to buy a new Classifieds Magazine to go through the new adverts.

Additionally, you can also sell the parts that you bought from the Flea market. This is immensely useful if you accidentally end up getting a part that you might not want to fit into the Corris Rivett.

How to get a new Classifieds Magazine in My Winter Car

Buying a Classifieds Magazine is really simple. You’ll need to visit the PSK Fuel Station and spend 15 mk. Getting the magazine is necessary to view the adverts. Make sure to get a new one after the weekly reset to find out all the new stuff that might be on offer.
