All new Pokopia items in Sableye’s Gem Hunt event

Sableye in Pokopia

Sableye is all set to make its debut in Pokémon Pokopia as part of a new event that will occupy a major part of May, and there’s plenty for the players to enjoy. This will be the second major in-game event since the game’s global launch.

Let’s quickly look at all the new items that will be part of Sableye’s Gem Hunt event.

Complete list of Sableye’s Gem Hunt event items in Pokpia

The event will have an exclusive range of furniture to unlock using Red Crystal Fragments (official event currency). Some of these items will be required for building Sableye’s habitat, so they will be must have. The other items can also prove to be quite useful based on your in-game needs.

Item Cost (Red Crystal Fragments)
Digital Camera 5
Map and Compass 5
Oil Lantern 2
Sleeping Bag 10
Jewel Wall Decoration 2
Camping Chair 5
Camping Cooking Pot 10
Treasure 5
Adventure Kit 10
Tent Kit 10

Out of all the items, the Map and Compass, Treasure, and Adventure Kit will be required to build a habitat for Sableye.

As for the rest of the items, the Tent Kit is always pretty useful, as they can be used as a pre-built shelter for some Pokémon. The Oil Lantern is also important if you are about to explore a dark place but don’t have a light source. The items you redeem will also largely depend on how many Red Crystal Fragments you manage to mine.

To obtain Red Crystals, you’ll need to explore the cave system in a Dream Island. You’ll also need to use Rock Smash to break the clusters and farm the Red Crystal Fragments. The amount you get will depend on your luck, but the deeper you go, the more fragments you’ll get.

How to start Sableye’s Gem Hunt in Pokopia

The official dates of the event are from April 29 to May 13, but you can change the time on your console. You’ll also need to have access to the Dream Islands and at least one Pokémon Center rebuilt. Head to the Pokémon Center, and you’ll find the Sableye.

While the requirements for Sableye’s habitat have been mentioned above, you can only assign it a home after the event is over. Until then, it will live inside the Pokémon Center.
