Suspected shooter identified as Cole Allen, who allegedly opened fire during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last night, is apparently a video game developer who released a title called Bohrdom on Steam back in 2018. Having found that out, folks are rushing to actually buy his game, only so they can leave a snarky review.
As per Polygon, Allen is a self-described game developer and engineer, who, as per his game’s Steam description, created a “skill-based, non-violent asymmetrical fighting game loosely derived from a chemistry model that is itself loosely based on reality,” whatever that means exactly. It’s a simple 2D game that Allen apparently made and released in 2018, pricing it at around $2.
From his Steam developer page, it seems this is the only game Allen made and released under his own name, and it is unclear if he was involved in the development of anything else that wound up on Steam over the years.
Polygon reports that Allen does appear to have another game in the works, First Law, though neither they nor we could find the game anywhere online.
This being the internet, folks are now rushing to purchase Allen’s $2 game just so they could get the ability to leave a snarky review under it. Many are poking fun at Allen, saying that the incident at the White House was the “weirdest way to get publicity for [his] game.” Not all of the reviews are negative, actually, with over half of them being positive, but most of the recent ones are generally comedic in nature.
“This game is really a miss,” one review said, “As a shooter, it seriously fails.”
Allen was allegedly armed with a shotgun, a handgun, and several knives, reportedly hitting a Secret Service officer carrying a bulletproof vest. No one died as a result of the incident, and Allen hasn’t been charged yet. Per CNN, he was allegedly aiming at “members of the administration,” since President Donald Trump was present at the ceremony.

Season 13 and the Lord of Hatred DLC are coming soon to Diablo 4, and this guide will help you keep track of both. The second major DLC for the game since its launch has plenty in store for players to enjoy, but first things first.
Let’s find out when the new season and the DLC go live worldwide.

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred and Season 13 release countdown
The launch day and time for the DLC and the new season were confirmed earlier by developers Blizzard. The following countdown will expire when the Lord of Hatred DLC becomes available across all platforms. The update drops on April 28 in most regions across the world, with the Americas being the rare exception.
[hurrytimer id=”1209602″]
The countdown is based on the following timings.
- 4pm PT (April 27)
- 6pm CT (April 27)
- 7pm ET (April 27)
- 11pm UTC (April 27)
- 12am BT
- 1am CET
- 7am CST
- 8am KST
The timings are unlikely to change this late. Season 13 will go live 30 minutes after the Lord of Hatred DLC becomes available. You’ll need to download an update to enjoy all the new content. Unlike the new season, Lord of Hatred is a paid DLC (unless your existing edition already entitles you to the expansion).
What to expect from Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred DLC
The second expansion will feature you taking your final stance against Mephisto across a new campaign. There are two new classes to master, and you’ll discover plenty while exploring Skovos. That’s not all, as the new expansion also overhauls the endgame as we know it. This will also affect how gear progression has worked so far.
Additionally, the Lord of Hatred DLC is perfect for beginners. It also includes the previously released Vessel of Hatred at no extra cost, so you get to experience both expansions. If you’re yet unsure about whether the new DLC is for you, here’s our review of it.
