Giving villagers general gifts is one of the more common tasks you’ll encounter while working through any Star Path event in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sometimes, though, this duty gets a bit more specific, as is the case with the treat a friend to a meal containing Pumpkin or Corn duty.
Since you’re usually able to give characters any items you like to satisfy the requirements for Star Path missions, this one can be a bit tougher to work through, as only a specific collection of items works here. If you’re struggling to work through this quest, here’s how to treat a friend to a meal containing Pumpkin or Corn in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Meal containing Pumpkin or Corn in Disney Dreamlight Valley
A meal containing Pumpkin or Corn for the Elements of Nature Star Path refers to any dish that calls for one of these two ingredients. This can be a recipe that specifically requires one of the two, or any meal that instead asks you to use any vegetable. All Pumpkin and Corn-specific dishes you can make for this task are as follows.
- Ajiaco
- Arepas Con Queso
- Fish Tacos
- Meaty Taco
- Nachos
- Pastéis de Nata
- Popcorn
- Pupusas Revueltas
- Ranch Salad
- Seafood Boil
- Sweet Popcorn
- Tea Sandwiches
- Vegetarian Taco
- Sweet Frost Popcorn
- Hodgepodge à la Monstropolis
- Bread Bowl Pumpkin Soup
- Halloween Gingerbread Cookies
- Pumpkin Puffs
- Pumpkin Soup
If you don’t know how to make any meals that have Pumpkin or Corn, start with the routine duty that is right next to this one, which asks you to cook with Pumpkin or Corn. Starting with this mission is useful, as it helps prep you for giving away meals that have these ingredients during this quest. You also earn separate reward Tokens to spend in the Star Path event from each one.
Treat a friend to a meal containing Pumpkin or Corn in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To finish the treat a friend to a meal containing Pumpkin or Corn routine duty, you need to give away three Pumpkin or Corn dishes to villagers in your valley. You can give all three to the same character, or spread them out over a few different ones. Simply walk up to a villager, chat with them, and select the “I have something to give you!” dialogue option to grant them one of these dishes.
You might be tempted to visit either Remy’s restaurant, Chez Remy, or Tiana’s establishment, Tiana’s Palace, for this mission. Serving dishes at either location doesn’t count for this quest, though, as it specifically wants you to give them away as gifts instead.
The villager doesn’t need to have a Pumpkin or Corn dish featured as one of their favorite items of the day for this quest. Any villager you give one of these meals to counts for the quest, so choose whoever you like. I recommend gifting these meals to low-level villagers you are hoping to build your bond with, as they won’t get you many friendship points with higher-levelled ones.
Successfully gifting all three meals gets you a whopping 50 Star Path Tokens to spend in the event. This is a huge prize for how low effort this duty is, so you’re one step closer to claiming whichever big rewards you have your eye on. If you still need more Tokens, consider working on additional duties next, like angling for an angler, cooking a fairly fancy dinner, practicing mine-fulness, crafting a potion you can really “dig,” and feeding the Ravens their favorite food.
