Helping your crew members to enter enemy boats is key to winning fights in Windrose, and you’ll need the Boarding Party Gear for that. An upgraded variant is also available that is much more effective. While I have yet to find the item directly as a drop (based on datamined information, you can find it that way as well), there’s a useful workaround to obtain it.

How to obtain the Upgraded Boarding Party Gear in Windrose

Instead of relying on your luck or finding the blueprint for the upgraded variant, it’s better to build the base unit. Then, you can simply upgrade it using the correct resources to raise its power and potential.

First, you’ll need the following resources to craft a Boarding Party Gear. This is the base one, so the required resources are pretty basic.

• Seven Copper Ingots: Smelted from Copper using a Furnace.
• Seven Rough Hide: Obtain from animals like wild boars
• Seven Coarse Fabric: Obtained by processing plant fiber and changing it into fabric.

Once you have the Boarding Party Gear, you can then start unlocking its upgrades. Here are some of the items that you’re going to need.

• Mire Metal Ingot: Obtained by smelting Ancient Scraps with Quagmire Powder.
• Crocodile Hide: Obtain from swamps.
• Tanned Leather: Obtain after crafting a Tanning Rack.
• Sewing Tools: Purchase from the trader belonging to the People of Tortuga faction.

How to use the Upgraded Boarding Party Gear in Windrose

The basic use of the Upgraded Boarding Party Gear is no different from how you use the base version.

• Select your ship and choose the Manage Ship option.
• Check out the Ship Customization option available on the left side of your screen.
• Equip the Upgraded Boarding Party Gear by dragging it into the slot.

You can now use the item when your party members are trying to board a pirate ship to bring it down.

We now have confirmation about Infinity Nikki‘s 2.5 update and when it will be available worldwide. The upcoming update, titled Where All Souls Return, will have several pieces of new content for players to enjoy. The existing map of Itzaland will be expanded with the update, but that’s not all.

But first, let’s find out when the next major update goes live.

Infinity Nikki 2.5 release countdown

Update 2.5 for Infinity Nikki will be released worldwide on Thursday, April 23. The date and time have been officially confirmed, so there’s no chance of a change this late. The following countdown will expire once the update goes live.

The countdown is based on the following timings.

• 8pm PT
• 10pm CT
• 11pm ET
• 3am UTC (April 24)
• 4am CET (April 24)

The timings are based on the maintenance we had during update 2.4, when the maintenance ended at 8pm PT. The schedule for the 2.5 update is yet to be confirmed as of writing. We should have more information before the update goes live worldwide. A brief window should also be available for you to pre-download and install the files related to the update.

The upcoming update should set up a showdown between Lady Medael and Nikki as the former is all set to offer real salvation to Itzaland. The map will have a brand new area of Boneyard post the launch of the update. There will also be new cosmetics, potential cosmetics, and more to enjoy.
